I feel like Owner is too scummy to be scummy at this point.

I'm still suspicious of LC, but I'm not sure I trust Mac either, and he's voting LC.

I could see voting speedy, but ColonialBob is voting there, and I don't really trust him.

Blech. I'm leaning hardest towards voting LC, but I'm having trouble with that Mac vote.

I'm going to go ahead and get a vote on the board, and work from there. I'll be in and out all afternoon. And hopefully will be around come EoD.

Depends on the situation. I would bus a teammate if they looked doomed. I won't defend a teammate unless there is something really good to defend, or unless there's a good target other than them that I can believably push.

Basically I'll try to save a drowning teammate if there's almost no way it comes back to bite me, I'll bus them if not.
That conforms to your Soneji stuff on Day 1. What better evidence is out there to lynch someone?
Talking about D1? There wasn't much.

Came across this classic in my ISO. And it really struck me this time. Speedy's description of what he'd do as a mafia (regarding bussing a teammate or not) is pretty much exactly what he did with Soneji on D1.

I do not think this post looks very good. I disagree with that interpretation. I didn't endorse a Sloonei lynch myself, but I could have voted speedchuck to prevent that. I didn't approve of a speedchuck lynch either.

As to the names I listed, like I said, I went through Soneji's post history, and compared it with my personal reads list. I examined who Soneji had avoided in thread, and then took out the names of people I had a strong enough town read on, leaving me with a list of people I found most suspicious post Soneji lynch.

I was most torn on Epi because I had a slight town read on him, but not strong enough to leave him off my official at the time list of possible Soneji teammates.

I'm still not seeing how you arrived at your conclusion. Are "the players that soneji avoided" suspicious, or are they town reads? Are these players suspicious because they avoided him as well? Why would avoidance be the telltale sign or partnership?

I clearly said that I was suspicious of those people being possible teammates with Soneji.

I don't care if you agree with what I said or my thinking at the time, but I was very clear that I thought there could be possible Soneji teammates (possible mafia members) in that group.

You look pretty town from that, I have to say. You started the Soneji lynch.

These are the extent of reads / opinions on players Long Con has shared:

- Speedchuck is suspicious
- Epi is wishy-washy, possibly opportunistic
- BWT is a regular no-show
- Kyle got a good look for Soneji vote Day 1
- mild suspicion on Owner, then dropped it after Dys posted about Owner
- Dys looks pretty town

I feel like at this point, I have an opinion about every single player in the game. It may fluctuate throughout the course of a Day or Night Phase, but I have one. It doesn't look like LC has any hard opinions about anyone up to now. I know it can be difficult to call others suspicious when you're Mafia and you have to invent a reason to find someone else suspicious.

Linki - Long Con's main/only suspect as far as I can tell is speedchuck. Imagine speedy being an independent... fits perfectly with a Mafia LC. Of course, that's all conjecture at this point.

I hate to say such a thing, but that thought crossed my mind as well. I feel like hosts generally replace mafias before they replace towns. I mean, we've got BWT and Neverwhere as pretty much total no-shows too... and yet only Daisy got replaced. Imagine you're a host, and you have 3 no-shows and 1 replacement. Town can absorb no-shows better than a mafia team... so you go with mafia no-show first. (At least that's what I think if I put on my Host Hat.)

Also leads me to be less likely to look at BWT and Neverwhere, at least for now.

How likely do I think it is that on Day 1, two of the main wagons were on Mafia? (That being Soneji and Sloon - the artist formerly known as Daisy.) Are statistics a good defense? Not necessarily, it's just that it's giving me pause.

Then I think about that in regards to Kyle. How likely do I think it is that 2 of the main wagons AND 1 of the other suspects several folks were talking about (Kyle) are all mafia together?

Then I wonder if there is some bastard element to this game, and I return to drinking my disgusting hard root beer. I purchased it, dammit, and it has alcohol in it.

So I'll go ahead and put another vote on Sloonei, and then sleep on it and see how it feels in the morning.

If I get real paranoid and tin foil, I ask myself how totally out of the loop and not caught up Kyle got lucky by voting Soneji, helping secure the mafia lynch Day 1.

Worth considering that the Daisy/Sloon wagon may have been a mafia lynch too. So Kyle was maybe safe either way, maybe he's mafia and knew that, or maybe he's town and had no idea and genuinely guessed right.

Owner is usually a big question mark for me, and she still is. Her hunting style is weird. She suspects people for the gifs they use, their avatar changes, and the jokes they make.

It always comes off as nonsense to people that haven't played with her, and often develops into a scumread.

That said, I don't know the difference between town and scum Owner, so I'm not defending her with this either. Just giving context.

I know Neverwhere is across the pond (so opposite time zone stuff), and has been personally busy lately. However, I've never played mafia with her, so I have no idea what her play style is like, and if her MIA-ness is indicative of anything.
