I know MP & Ambray were asking for my opinion of Boogs. FWIW I was with him in his apartment yesterday from 4 until 11ish, and any time we were catching up in the thread/posting, he wasn't deliberating in baddie chatrooms. For whatever that's worth. So any theories, etc etc is all him during that time period, he had no coaching or whatnot.
:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I always have this image of couples that play mafia...

Awkward dinner table conversations, "Oh, what were you doing on the computer just now?" "Nothing."
You have no idea how true this really is. And Alex makes it ten freaking times worse, because he literally CANNOT STAND not talking to me about something. Playing games with him is so difficult, I have to remind him constantly not to talk about the game! That said, being a Baddie with him in AHS over on Hedville was the most fun I have had in a game ever.

Indeed, SD. Hencewhy Dex and I decided not to ever play together again. Too hard, and too un-fun. I seriously don't know how other couples do it without going insane. Because we talk about EVERYTHING and it was too much torture to have this 1 topic be off-limits between us.

Yeah~ was it him/his team, or is he an innocent victim of a frame up? I could see it either way.

Just for the record, it was SVS who first introduced the idea that Epig was set up, including the rationale why mafia might do it. (Someone asked who was the first to bring up the idea, but now I don't remember who.)

Knowing this, and now hearing from 2 other players that they've just done that in a game with SVS... well let's say it gives me pause for thought. And something else I'll quote in a second...

I was also going to point out that in addition to the zombie having a lynch switch, the diamond sword does as well, so it might not have been a save or set up at all, but maybe the sword did it. Then again, the sword also has a lynch stop, I think on a day one that's more likely to be used.
True. What motive would the sword have to switch the lynch anyway? The civs have no BTSC.

Well, there are plenty of secrets among the roles... so I'd say just about anything could be possible... don't you think?

Re: MINECRAFT - DAY ONE

SVS, you think Llama is bad due to some "piling on" issues previously?

I don't really think the frame job theory on Epig holds a lot of water for me. (Simply because now I know for a fact that at least 2 of the voters are not baddies.) However, I suppose some baddies could have gotten it started... so that is something to consider.

Re: MINECRAFT - DAY ONE

Well, here's what I noticed about Epig and Elohcin - which I confirmed when I went back and did a reread. They basically had completely parallel thoughts, parallel posts, parallel theories and parallel votes. I realize that couples do begin to think alike over the years, but this was more than that, in my opinion. I also noted some defending, which is playing into my thoughts much less than the other issues. There's a connection there that just doesn't sit well with me.

I will wait a few more minutes to vote, but not many.

vote Movingpictures07

LT, that's a good point. I'm weighing that against the fact that Epig saw his name come up and saw some votes go down for him, and remained quiet... that strikes me as quite odd, though it's possible he didn't have more computer time after doing his Host Post for MOTU. So I'm going to give it a bit longer and see what happens.

My vote is going to go either to you (MoPi), Epig or Elohcin. Still haven't changed my mind on that.

Since out of the 3 of you, only you and Epig have votes, I'll likely vote you or Epig. :)

LT, you're noticing many of the same things I have been noticing.

I will be considering a vote for (in no particular order): Epi, Elohcin, MoPi - maybe a few others as the day progresses.

With a secondary :eye: on a couple other people.

@ Snow Dog - whether or not you're new to mafia is having a very strong bearing on my read of you right now, so you really might want to consider that it could be important. (At least a little.) :)

It's interesting that you perceive a push for the house. I saw a bunch of people vote for the house, but the strongest arguments trying to convince people to vote seemed to come from the Ship voters to me, particularly from Snow Dog. I guess both camps bear watching.

I feel the same way. I didn't feel anyone was pushing House, but I did feel like I saw people coming up with all kinds of reasons to vote differently. In fact, there were a couple of posts that made me feel extra good about voting House.

But I agree that both camps likely do bear watching. (I hope they do it at a distance and just use binoculars though... it can be really dangerous to watch bears too close up. Image Thank you! I'll be here all night!)

I've seen Day 0 polls range anywhere from netting the "winners" nothing (as in it was just for storytelling purposes) to awarding the winners a prize, information, protections, extra lynch votes, etc. Really it could be anything from my experience. I've also never seen a Day 0 poll head into a night, they generally go straight to Day 1, as Kate is planning for this one.

Oh wow, I thought the poll was closing today at the specified time, but it's actually not till tomorrow. Regardless, I may as well go ahead and vote. Home makes the most sense to me. So that's where my vote's going.

Re: MINECRAFT - DAY ZERO

I found a Minecraft Wiki! May contain good info for those of us who are completely unfamiliar with the game: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Minecraft_Wiki

They have a beginner's tutorial, and it talks about what your first priorities are during Day 1 of the game, and having a bed was #1. So I'm thinking it does look like House/Home would likely be the most logical choice for Day 0. Still have plenty of time to discuss and vote though.

I'd also like to look at the mafia roles more carefully and see if a couple of the options would perhaps make more sense for one of those teams, if that makes sense, and assuming there are clear cut Mafia/Civ poll options.

Hello to all and the game is upon us! Image

I have never played Minecraft and know nothing about it. I think I'll want to try to do some reading or summat to see what my best option here is. And since I've got a little while and I'm exhausted, I think I'll do my reading at another time when my brain is function better. :D
