Re: GAME OVER: BLUE vs. RED
The mix up actually was genuine. Before the game started, I complained to G-Man that my two teammates were people I didn't know and had never played with before. I even threatened not to go into the chat and just play as an indy. When I started playing, I honestly couldn't remember which of them was which. I was worried thta mistake screwed me, but it turned out to be an advantage. So yay me.

I was equally surprised by the SVS lynch, but pleased.
A big thanks to my team for pulling out a last minute victory! It was down to the wire. If we had picked the wrong nightkill today, it would have been over.
Great game, GMan, and great game everyone else!~

Think about the case against me while you're out there. There is none. Epi voted for me because I didn't gun for you hard enough today. Long Con voted for me because reasons. I've been actively baddie hunting this entire game. It sucks to get offed so late in the game when you've put so much effort into it.

Re: Day 6- BLUE vs. RED
Right, so here's the situation I'm in. If I vote for Sawyer, he will vote for me, I will die and the civilians will lose.
If I vote for Wilgy, Epi, or LC, at best Sawyer's vote will tie things up and there will be no lynch, but more likely he will vote for me, I will die, and the civs will lose.
That means I have to vote for Faraday and hope two things. 1. That Faraday is bad, and 2. that Sawyer breaks the tie in my favor.
I am not at all convinced that Faraday is bad, but I know I am not, so it's my only option.
Sawyer, I know we have had a contentious game, but I swear to you I am not the droids you are looking for. Do the right thing.

I'd like to discuss Wilgy as an option for today. He's been quietly smug the last few rounds, with his comments like "oh a tie, neat." and so forth. No one has really been looking at him, and I wonder if he hasn't started to get quite confident in his chances. I'll be doing a thorough reread of him before voting.

I don't think Epi's reasoning for keeping Jack alive was to observe him. As I recall, he always advocated ignoring him. He just thought lynching him was a waste of a day, since we already knew his role. At least that was my understanding.Marmot wrote:My qualm with this behavior: Epignosis wanted to keep jack alive for the purpose of observing his behavior and hunting for baddies based on that. Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
So here's the thing about Epi. A lot of his gameplay doesn't make sense to me.
Why did he argue so hard to prevent Jack from being lynched?
Why has he defended Sawyer so hard?
Why have his accusations of other players been so scattershot? I'm pretty sure at this point he has gone after everybody.
I have a hard time believing that Epi, even at his ballsiest, would stick his neck out so far to defend an outed teammate. Then again, if anyone would, he would. Either way, it's bizarre behavior.
I think the answer to the third question is fishing for reactions, which is something I associate with civvies more than baddies.
It has been pointed out thta odd behavior des not necessarily mean baddie behavior, and while I would certainly call Epi's behavior this game odd, I do not believe that he is bad.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
The last thing about Metalmarsh; his suspicion of Epi.
I don't quite know what to make of this. The very first suspicion MM posted was of Epi for not playing hard enough. Then he flopped back and forth between civ and bad Epi for another couple of days before solidifying on Day 3. I asked him to explain his suspicion and he said it was "infoil" and refused to elaborate. After Quin's death, he's been more insistent still. As noted above, he also said " I woulda killed Epi night 1" which indicates a love of WIFOM as well as a desire to get Epi out of the game.
So basically, MM has wanted Epi gone with increasing intensity since Day 1.
Why?
Could be a genuine suspicion. And MM said all his suspicions are genuine, but the flopping back and forth seems odd in that case, as well as his brief attempt to partner with Epi to lynch me yesterday.
Could be a fear of being caught by Epi. As someone who has been caught by Epi many times, I can relate to that. But in that case why not just kill him at night? I have to mull.
Going to read Skeletor now.
