I didn't think you were bad because of what you said about Andrew, I just disagreed with you. At first it was intuition, and then it was the fact that we redirected your pigging ower to BWT and he miraculously turned into a pig, but obviously I couldn't say that.

I was genuinely offended that you wouldn't use an 8 year old for civ cred when you would have used anyone else, or that you say you would have had a hard time killing him. As I said many times in the thread, I think kids should be treated with the same respect and dignity as anyone else in the game.

Thanks, I just wonder, if SVS is really the baddie you believe her to be, wouldn't one of her buddies vote for her by now since she's getting so much heat?

I thought the save yesterday was a dumb move. I can only assume that they view her role as so valuable that they were unwilling to lose it so early.

I'm not getting the attack on TH either, unless it is another attempt to save SVS. He has been nothing but logical and straightforward this game.

I can assure you it's not a personal vendetta. I started out this game specifically trying to avoid that, since we always end up going after each other. However, my intuition, plus the way the votes fell yesterday leads me to believe strongly that she is bad. Please don't make the mistake of saving her twice.

That's actually a really good point. Not wanting to get your hands dirty on a lynch where you know what the outcome will be is something I see exceptionally frequently with baddies. Worth keeping an eye on her.

Reading back through, it does kinda seem like there was a last minute push to save SVS, I'm just not sure what to make of it. I can see a scenario where svs is bad and her team tried to save her. I can also see a scenario where SVS is good, and the "save" is a nice frame for today's vote. Then there's two civs down with little effort.

So who are you planning to vote for?

As for me, I'm voting SVS.

Again, forcing me to clarify my joke makes it less funny and makes me sound more arrogant than I intended. I was calling it a lie because SVS said Andrew was maybe the smartest person she knows, but she knows me, so obviously that is not true.

This was a vote to give her the power to control the universe, not to lynch her. I said that, again, partly in jest because she was editing the thread (which I have no problem with at all), and I saw that as analogous to controlling the universe.

I'm afriad you've misunderstood what was purely a joke on my part. I was just saying that since people know that SVS will edit their curses, they might be tempted to curse more just to give her a hard time or see how she would edit them. It had nothing to do with the game itself, and probably should have been on OT green. Sorry for the confusion.

Because the way the votes fell looked exactly like teammates trying to save you, and because you kept contradicting yourself yesterday, so I think you are bad.

What say you about Kate and FZ then? If it was a baddie save as you think, SVS most certainly couldn't have done it alone.

I don't really have an opinion on Kate yet. I am keeping an eye on FZ because I think her attack on Turnip Head was weird and without much merit.

I am convinced that what we saw yesterday was a baddie rescue squad on SVS. She took two early votes, and then everyone piled on Dom with very little explanation. If I am right (and I think I am) this was a huge blunder on their part. It would have been better to throw SVS under the bus than make such a transparent attempt at saving her. I am holding onto my vote for now, but it will almost certainly go to SVS again.

I urge the rest of you to do the same.

It's odd to me that you are placing the burden the responsibility on Turnip Head for your bad vote. I was out when people started voting for Dom and didn't get back until the poll was closed, so I couldn't have said something (I certainly would have if I could), but in my view it is not right to pass the buck for your bad decisions onto others by saying they should have talked you out of it.

Sorry for the triple post, but I have more to say.

The only reason you are calling my post cynical is because Andrew is 8 years old. If it were any other player, there would be absolutely nothing cynical about it, at least no more so than any game of mafia, which is by its nature a cynical game that involves lying and manipulation.

Now, I personally believe that children deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Arguing that Andrew could not make an effective baddie because of his age is not respectful. Saying that you would not use him for civvie cred (which let's be honest, you would unhesitatingly do with any other player) is not respectful.

I intend to treat Andrew the same as anyone else in this game, just as I do with the children I encounter in the real world. I do not think the fact that I would expect the same from you (and everyone else) is particularly cynical.

I would also add that it is Day 1 and I have to vote for someone. I am not going to claim that the case I made against you is rock solid by any means, but at this point, you are the person I most suspect and I don't like to randomize, especially when there has been as much discussion as there has been in this game so far.
