Re: [NIGHT 4] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
Hmm, now there are two threads I can post in. Should I stay here, or head over there? What a dilemma.

Well, in any case, I am really glad they got rid of DH. He was a fairly obvious bad actor.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
I assumed everyone else knew it, since it was brought up a couple of times in Wilmington.bea wrote:MR - IDK - I know that Teefies didn't know what happened to Aces when he first got to our Willmington thread. I didn't really know till I hit PG and there was some discussion about it. The host clarification is in that thread as well. I totally forgot that people might not know what happened till I was looking at my notes.
I'm guessing the lack of talking about it is a combo of people not knowing or people thinking everyone else knows it.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
My worry is thta everyone in all towns will be excited by the new choice and all go there. Sounds too crowded for my liking. I will probably still go to Penn's Grove where it is likely to be very empty and peaceful.bea wrote:Thanks - IDK if it was brought up or not yet here as well, but back in the Penn's Grove thread, we found out that seriously injured players can not post/vote for the next day and night cycle while they heal.thellama73 wrote:Day 1bea wrote:Ahh - got it. BWT fought Aces, BWT won, Aces was seriously injured
Day 2

Day 3
INH fought SVS and won. SVS was not seriously injured.
@ MR. I did not notice the new choice - good eye.
Looks like we're thinning the crowd for more fights at a time.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
I haven't been there yet and I have gaps in my records from there. (I don't know who won between Johns and Russti.) Everyone is, course, welcome to come with me, but I am reluctant to abandon my companions, since we agreed to travel together.bea wrote:Any particular reason why Penn's Grove? Long Con had way more votes than me, and I whupped him good.Roxy wrote:Ni - I was wanting a tie and was so glad you evened it up.
I had a tiny theory that maybe if you receive more votes than your opponent then you win - I do not believe it to be true bc of the way other fights have gone.

Re: [DAY 4] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
What I get from this is that you don't find our past rivalries as funny as I apparently do. That's okay. I take a different viewpoint from you, in that I think it will be easier to get along if we constantly laugh at how we never get along and point out how ridiculous it is.S~V~S wrote:Do you think I am incapable of change or growth? Or at least trying to get along becasue always arguing is tedious? Please do me a solid & stop implying we are UNABLE to get along? It will actually make getting along easier!
Thanks
And BWT is right, I was being a jokey joke jokenheimer, as is my wont.

Re: [NIGHT 3] Fight Club Mafia - New Castle, DE
If there is such a hidden role mechanic, you would have a point, but frankly I doubt it and I see no evidence to suggest it. However, I guess it could be the case that concentrating power would make obvious choices for Project Mayhem to recruit and thus the police to find, but ther's one other angle you haven't considered. If a few people keep fighting and getting stringer, they will inevitably kill of more of the rest of us in the process, and that may include policemen, so I don't think it's a good idea.timmer wrote:Just to play devils advocate though wouldn't concentrating also theoretically help the police? my stance is always to let people who haven't yet fought have the chance but if they don't want to im not sure I would vote to force them . what if the police have to try not to fight for instance?
so people who haven't fought yet shout out if you want to! !

Nope. Also birdwithteeth, Mister Rearranger, and Roxy.S~V~S wrote:Is she the only one who has not fought?
I've had a think about strategy, and I think it is in all of our best interests to spread the fghting out as much as possible. Since Project Mayhem can presumably recruit whomever they want, if too much power gets concentrated into too few hands, Project Mayhem can just recruit those people and we are done for. Here, as always, our strength is in numbers, so if we try to keep power levels fairly evenly balanced, we will be better off.

I like where your head's at, BWT. I would also like to add that DH seemed almost desperate to fight me, knowing that he had already won one fight and would surely defeat me. I found that a little odd. (not that he would want to win, but that he would single out me, an obvious underdog for it)
