Return to “Dr. Who Mafia - Night 12”

Being frustrated is perfectly understandable and happens all the time. It has happened to me. It has happened to Alex. Sometimes people overreact. The point is, we ALL reached out to Chris and said "we understand that you're frustrated. We're here to help. But please try to restrain yourself in the thread because you're upsetting people." No one accused him or reprimanded him. We reached out as friends to try to help and listen. As a response, he basically said "I'll do whatever I want and you can't stop me." I hope you understand how few options we have to deal with players like that.keys56000000000 wrote:Alright, fair enough. I'm just saying, in case it wasn't clear, that it is not unreasonable at all to be frustrated. I myself am frustrated. I had fun, a lot of fun, but there's definitely a niggling sense that it was unfair. I can't help but wonder how you yourself would feel, given the amount of time and energy you put into this game, especially when you should have been putting it into your PhD, if at this stage it was revealed that you never had a chance, and that it was all futile. And in defense of Chris, I feel partly responsible for this situation, because I did goad him throughout the game. But yeah, I can't condone anything he's said to you guys.

You could be either, as we don't know who recruited MM. You have brought nothing to the table since MM's rezz. You're in stealth mode. Those lynches are telling.
You can always link to the original post.S~V~S wrote:I don't know that we would want to install mods mid game. I do know that that mod is on the to do list.Chris wrote:MP, two things I'd like to ask you about.
With quotes, is there a way to timestamp them? Also, is there a way to click on a quote to take you to the original?
And if not, can you make it so?
I usually use adverbs rarely, but occasionally I'll cautiously slip one into the conversation in a sneaky fashion.Epignosis wrote:I mean adverbs, damn it.

Only I get a creative title. :P Also, I have decided that I prefer the purple to the old color. Celebrations all round.MovingPictures07 wrote:I'm not changing titles, only colors.birdwithteeth11 wrote:So when do I get a title? You should get on that and give me something funny/creative. You slacker. :PMovingPictures07 wrote:
On it. Figured I would make an official proposal if I liked what I found, but you and Logan ninja'd me before I could even decide whether I thought it was worth proposing.
I thought it was funny.Metalmarsh89 wrote: And your joke was hilarious.
I am perhaps not as absent as you think.MovingPictures07 wrote:Maybe I should start exclaiming that I'm supatown in llama's absence. :P
Unless I am secret playing and being a mod is just a front.Enrique wrote:Llama isn't playing so I think it's safe to say he wasn't outing his partner
Dana wrote:Maybe he knew Llama before this site? Though I have no idea how long the supatown thing has been going on. Or what it even means, actually. Is it from the little title under the name thing or was Llama given the title because he started saying it?Enrique wrote:Yeah, for real... only uses of "supatown" outside of this thread are in the past two Speed Games. What's up with that, zeek?
