This is my first full game and I have a few surprises planned. I hope it is fun, and I don't screw it up too badly.Epignosis wrote:I agree 100% There are some hosts who could put any theme up, and I mean ANY theme as a Mafia, and I would sign up in a heartbeat. Hosts like these could make a Kinds of Dirt Mafia and I would sign up. That's just how amazing they are.S~V~S wrote:Llama is an awesome host, and this game will be great. Re: Harry Stephen Keeler Mafia [SIGNUPS]
I'm not doing sock accounts. People couldn't behave, and now they've ruined it for everyone.Turnip Head wrote:I may need to switch to "replacement" if this ends up not being a sock game, which is where this looks to be headed. I'm starting a new job tomorrow (SQUEEEEE!) and I won't have as much time for mafia as I'm used to having. I don't think I'll be able to keep up with being "Turnip Head" in two full games at once, but I could definitely keep up as TH in one game and a mysterious alter ego in another. So yeah... I want to play, but if it's not a sock game, I may have to wait until Death Note is either closer to completion or I kick the bucket there.
(plus, less work for me as a host.

My original plan was to use sock puppets, but certain people (you know who you are) gave me a lot of pushback on it, so I decided to be Democratic about it. Whichever option has the most votes when we fill up, that is the way it will be.

Some people put *secrets* after role powers they don't want to reveal. I prefer vaguely worded powers.Epignosis wrote:Mimi LeCompte - The Reptile Queen - Can send her reptiles after people, tormenting them.
What does this do?
John Cooper Jarndyce - The Sensationalist - Can create a scene which will enthrall two players for a day.
What does this do?
Sato Okimo - The Japanese Lawyer - Can execute wills, stock certificates and promissory notes.
What does this do?
Mafia: Outnumber Civilians and Celestials to Win
Macleish MacPherson - The Crooked Doctor - Can dispense medicine that does a variety of unsavory and often illegal things.
Ivan Kossakoff - The Strangler - Can silence every night.
Carl von Tresseler - The Blond Beast of Bremen - Kills every night.
Reed Bardeen - The Millionaire Anarchist - Becomes more powerful the more votes he takes (that don’t kill him.)
Gustav Shrik - The Banker - Can store papers in his vault.
Do they have BTSC? What happens to the kill if Carl von Tresseler dies? In what way does Reed Bardeen becomes more powerful?
The Mafia does have BTSC, and the kill will pass to another player if Von Tresseler dies.
