Re: [END] Arrested Development Mafia
Good going, civvies! Sorry I wasn't around in the final day. I had visitors this weekend and wasn't really able to check in.

Re: [Day 3] Arrested Development Mafia
That lynch was super suspicious, and has rocketed MP and ELohcin to the top of my suspect chart (MP is always hovering around there anyway). But I agree thta it was likely a WIlgy save and we should start there.

Re: [Day 2] Arrested Development Mafia
I like to keep you guessing. I don't think it is an unLLamalike thing to say at all, though. Maybe you are sincere in your convictions, maybe you are steering the thread for your own benefit. They are not the same thing, though they may look it from the outside. Do you want to abandon leading your lynch wagon now that you know there might be consequences for lynching a civ?Turnip Head wrote: Wow, you've not only made me doubt myself but you as well. This scenario is a baddie's wet dream. If Wilgy is civ you've just laid the foundation for getting two mislynches for the price of one. You're "wary of thread-steering?" That might be the least Llama-like thing I've seen you say. The civ Llama I know feels strongly in his convictions, and attempts to get the rest of the thread to follow his lead. Would you be wary of your own behavior in games where you've done that? I feel like I'm right about something and I want people to talk about it instead of brushing it off. The timing of this post right after MP casts some doubt about me seems off. Why would you come after me if I'm wrong if you yourself are sold on my case?
linki: MP1 I will miss my bastard son. Return from whence you came!
linki: MP2 I have a few minor pings, but nothing solid. I think TH's case on Wilgy is good, but his own behavior feels fishy to me as well. I think Spacedaisy's suspicion of Eloh has merit as well.

MP, I am similarly nervous about TH, but I am willing to give him a day to see how his Wilgy suspicion turns out.

Re: [Day 2] Arrested Development Mafia
Reread your posts, TH, and this is an excellent point!Turnip Head wrote:Think back to what MP was saying about green peeks being cleared by the mafia looking for the cop. The mafia would want to kill a person whose green peek was accurate, because otherwise they would know it's not the real cop. So if the mafia had decided to take out DrWilgy thinking he was the cop, there would be no downside to killing him... because even if he wasn't the cop, his green peek (Sloonei) was already dead. Ergo, no one alive would be "Seer Hunt Cleared" (seer = cop).
There's really no reason for them not to kill Wilgy last night unless he's bad or it's an elaborate frame job.
I'm sold for now, but if you are wrong, I'm coming after you next. I'm wary of thread-steering.

I don't want to create the illusion of a lynch train. That could lead other people to vote Wilgy thinking it's inevitable. Remind me your reason for distrusting him?Turnip Head wrote:You could always vote Wilgy for now. Make him squeal.thellama73 wrote:Not really. I don't really suspect her. I was just responding to your questions.Turnip Head wrote: Sounds like she's taking a firm stance to me. If you suspect Elo, fine, but I don't think your reasons hold up. I would argue that wishy-washyness isn't necessarily a mafia trait anyways. Civs can be unsure of themselves.

So after looking up the character, I definitely want to watch more and see Zeebs character in action. I know Mae Whitman from Parenthood
Oh, and do you like my new disguise?
Here is one of those "something happened and I need to comment but have nothing to say" posts.
After that she perked up, so it might not mean anything. Just something I noticed.

Not especially, although I felt a lot of her early posts were quite wishy washy and noncommittal, which is usually a red flag.Turnip Head wrote:Do you have reason to feel bad about her?thellama73 wrote:I'm with you here. It might be a knee jerk reaction to her suspecting me last night but I felt like there were two people who jumped on Turnip and MP putting pressure on me last night who seemed opportunistic and their suspicions seemed like reaching or manufacturing. One of those was Elo and the other was Sorsha. I don't know if Turnip legit suspects me or was just applying pressure like MP invited him to do. I don't find Turnip Head suspicious at the moment though.

Re: [Day 2] Arrested Development Mafia
I voted for lovedelic because she was the first player to select the "no lynch" option, an option which I have always hated for obvious reasons. To be honest, I didn't notice SD's peek at the time, and will have to reevaluate today, although I doubt every peek claimed is true.MovingPictures07 wrote:On the next... Arrested Development:
G-Man, Metalmarsh89, and Sorsha will explain (1) their votes for Sloonei and (2) why they did not believe DrWilgy's peek on Sloonei was legitimate.
Elohcin, thellama73, and Ricochet will explain why (1) their votes for lovedelic and (2) why they did not believe Spacedaisy's peek on lovedelic was legitimate.
lovedelic and Spacedaisy will explain why (1) their votes for thellama73 and (2) why they did not believe Ricochet's peek on thellama73 was legitimate.
Spacedaisy will explain why she voted for me, then moved my vote without responding to my inquiry and acknowledging the switch.
It's possible one of these peeks is real. So why did all of these votes land like this?
I will also say that those who tried to lynch me are a bunch of chickens. KA-CACAW CACAW!

Anyway, I'll be quiet for a while, I've got school to go to. I'd play hookie but I already did that all of December and no one cared. Well technically the principal called my parents, butt my mom started the phone and thought he was hitting on her so she just ended up with a date and now I can get much do what I want at school, which is annoying because it totally ruins the whole point of rebelling in the first place. This sucks.
