I think it was very clear that the accusation had little substance from the start, so I find it odd that you would only notice how little substance it had because I listened to you. I've admitted to the fact I'm not reading the thread, and I would say the only suspicion I've had with any substance at all is the one of Scotty. That's something like 14 votes I've made that lack any substance at all.

HAHAHA....see, I am not reading much of the thread either :P And I have said so as well, but I never saw where you said that. so I only assumed your theory had little substance once you changed your mind so quickly. Poor Epi. He put so much into this game and no one is even paying attention. At least I told him before signing up that I wouldn't be paying much attention. But I still feel bad. It's just not an awesome time for Mafia for me right now.

Sorry, I don't read the thread much. I've been working 8 hour days (weekends too) on top of school and household chores. I honestly don;t remember why I've voted you. Perhaps cause others were voting you and I didn't want my vote to mean nothing.

Anyone who has been playing mafia more than a game or two would know that not EVERYONE in the vote line-up will be of the same alignment. Weird Quin, weird.

Mac, your conspiracy theory is interesting and all, but I think you're missing one key possibility. I also initially read Eloh as hinting at having info, but then someone else said that they saw it as a forced vote, and I think that makes sense. If Eloh was forced to vote for Sorsha and/or TH on that day and wasn't allowed to say so, it would certainly explain why she didn't further pursue Sorsha -- and honestly I think the fact that she pretty clearly avoided mentioning Sorsha the next day looked to me like she was trying to confirm the force-vote theory. You could be right, but I seriously doubt that if she was recruited she would so obviously suddenly stop naming Sorsha, she'd probably back off more slowly. I think her unexplained vote combined with the abrupt abandonment makes a lot more sense as a forced vote.

Its so funny, b/c I didn't infodump anything. AND, I didn't even clarify who I was talking about in my post. Some people assumed I was talking about Sorsha. Some people assumed I was talking about TH.

It was only a coincidence that I started talking about Sorsha the next day. I said it then and I will say it now. There was no relation between my vote for TH and Sorsha that one day and then me talking to/about Sorsha the next day. I only talked to/about Sorsha the next day b/c she said she was willing to be voted for. I had also talked to/about MP that day b/c he said the same. I went with DDL and Bass. I really don't see that Caps is bad.

I was commenting on THAT person's post. You are getting quite squirmy over the whole situation. That makes me more suspicious of you than what was originally said.

We all had two votes, so if they were teammates, they could vote for themselves as well as a teammate. However, if this theory is true, none of them did that. JJJ voted himself and Scotty, MP voted JJJ and Caps, and Caps voted JJJ and MP.

I don't think it would be a bad strategy for that team to vote each other. JJJ is pretty much always read as supatown and a low poster like Caps is usually able to slide by unnoticed for a good while. Really it was good luck that MP got lynched this time, since there was no real concerted push against him, and if this is indeed the Yellow Turban team, I wouldn't doubt that they expected to last quite a while without drawing suspicion.

I was thinking the same thing. And Epi usually accepts group PMs if I remember correctly, so even if there is one active player, they should be able to submit the kill, I would think anyway. However, we have to keep in mind all the secrets and other crap loaded into games like this. You never know what could have happened. Benefits were given out to the prefects as well as the winner of the Day 1 Duel. So....maybe one team was inactive and the other had something working against them. Not sure. But I am with you that there has to be at least some inactive baddies b/c there are so many inactives in the first place.

Also, I like your theory on MM.

Oh my goodness....I am reading and making comments on posts and then I get to the bottom of the page and there are three more pages to go! I think I'll go watch some tv.

Done with work (for now) and I realized I gotta choose two people pretty quickly. So, another 3 pages to read, but I don't have time. I voted wilgy and bubbles.

Everytime I have a chance to come look at this thread, I see three (or more) more pages have been filled during my absence. All of a sudden I'm overcome with an extreme lack of motivation. Kind of like the feeling I used to get when I would go to the gym, walk up the stairs and see the row of treadmills waiting for me to walk aboard and move my legs over and over again in a running fashion without the ability to change my geographic location. I mean, it's a severe lack of motivation!

That said, I have read a little about the dueling aspect. I think we ought to put up two people we are suspicious of. I know this means that the winner (even though we are suspicious of them too) will get benefits, but really..how often are we actually right about our suspicions? And with this many people playing, I can only imagine that we will be less accurate about who is good and who is bad. We might as well try to get the baddies out even if that means one may have a chance win/receive benefits. Anyway...that's my two cents about the situation. ta-ta for now.

I'm not sure I really understand your point. I think most people are voting JJJ because: #1) He is a thorough player and #2) He is an active player and we know he won't flake on us a few days in.

And, don't we ALL try to make our baddie meta as "civ-looking" as possible? I've never known anyone to get a baddie role and try to look bad...well, except maybe MovingPictures that one time
