Return to “Romance of the Three Kingdoms [ENDGAME]”
I thought the baby was due in October. I guess I was wrong. So excited for you two. I wanna see pictures!!Golden wrote:Don't get me wrong... it's not that I'm not enjoying the game, and I love epi's theming always. It's just that I don't want to get too invested in a game that I might have to stop playing if the baby comes, because otherwise I won't stop playing, and my wife will be upset.
HAHAHA....see, I am not reading much of the thread either :P And I have said so as well, but I never saw where you said that. so I only assumed your theory had little substance once you changed your mind so quickly. Poor Epi. He put so much into this game and no one is even paying attention. At least I told him before signing up that I wouldn't be paying much attention. But I still feel bad. It's just not an awesome time for Mafia for me right now.Golden wrote:I think it was very clear that the accusation had little substance from the start, so I find it odd that you would only notice how little substance it had because I listened to you. I've admitted to the fact I'm not reading the thread, and I would say the only suspicion I've had with any substance at all is the one of Scotty. That's something like 14 votes I've made that lack any substance at all.Elohcin wrote:Yes. I do think I would be best to know if Simon is good or bad. Okay. that's what it was, I guess. I still have to look at the vote thread. As soon as I posted, I was called to supper. Then cleaned up and now I'm folding clothes. I will get there eventually.Golden wrote:You voted Jay.
Looking back, I think what you got confused about is who I voted and who LoRab voted. We both voted Glorfindel.
Sorry, I don't read the thread much. I've been working 8 hour days (weekends too) on top of school and household chores. I honestly don;t remember why I've voted you. Perhaps cause others were voting you and I didn't want my vote to mean nothing.Dom wrote:...except that I've asked you twice why you voted for me and you haven't answered.Elohcin wrote:Wow...and see I was going to give an explanation of why I voted for JJJ but thought to keep my mouth shut since I don't have true evidence. Also, may I say that my instincts have been spot on this game despite not getting caught up in all the details of what everyone is saying. Meaning, I am not keeping up with the thread too much, but I do read for tone here and there and I have been wrong ONE time on who is who regarding roles and what not. B/c of that, I think I will share my thoughts on golden and Lorab. I think both are bad. The whole thing where golden changed his mind so quickly about Simon....I didn't say it at the time, but it pinged me somethin' awful. Lorab's overall tone has made me thing she is bad. And they both voted for TH most recently, who I think is also bad. Maybe they thought it was a resurrect poll as well.
You did what? Voted for TH? I never said it made you bad. In fact, I don;t even remember mentioning your name at allQuin wrote:I did. Scotty said he would get back to responding to my points, but he never did.
Elo's points about simon have led me to drop my simon suspicion.
I'm voting for scotty and DDL.
I can see if it were a theme that Simon was interested in, he would want to pick his role and it may be a bad role. But I don't see that happening here.Golden wrote:I'm certain he never fully randomises, but does that mean he would never make Simon bad or Simon would never want to be bad? See, this here intrigues me. When people are willing to volunteer to duel. A roll of the dice and you could be out....just like that. If Quin accepts, I will vote Bass and Quin.Bass_the_Clever wrote:Quinn I formally challenge you to a duel.
Its so funny, b/c I didn't infodump anything. AND, I didn't even clarify who I was talking about in my post. Some people assumed I was talking about Sorsha. Some people assumed I was talking about TH.nutella wrote:MacDougall wrote:Okay facts:Quin wrote:This also seems counter productive.MacDougall wrote:Also possible that Elohcin is Lu Bu and selected a faction that she discovered Sorsha was part of.
Elohcin infodumped intel on Sorsha being bad.
Elohcin has abruptly stopped seeking Sorsha's lynch.
There is at least 1 recruitment role in the game. There is also a role that can join a faction.
Give me a better explanation for why she did the former.
Also explain you are so vociferous in your defense of her.
Mac, your conspiracy theory is interesting and all, but I think you're missing one key possibility. I also initially read Eloh as hinting at having info, but then someone else said that they saw it as a forced vote, and I think that makes sense. If Eloh was forced to vote for Sorsha and/or TH on that day and wasn't allowed to say so, it would certainly explain why she didn't further pursue Sorsha -- and honestly I think the fact that she pretty clearly avoided mentioning Sorsha the next day looked to me like she was trying to confirm the force-vote theory. You could be right, but I seriously doubt that if she was recruited she would so obviously suddenly stop naming Sorsha, she'd probably back off more slowly. I think her unexplained vote combined with the abrupt abandonment makes a lot more sense as a forced vote.
It was only a coincidence that I started talking about Sorsha the next day. I said it then and I will say it now. There was no relation between my vote for TH and Sorsha that one day and then me talking to/about Sorsha the next day. I only talked to/about Sorsha the next day b/c she said she was willing to be voted for. I had also talked to/about MP that day b/c he said the same. SO...my Sorsha/TH vote the one day had NOTHING to do with the talk to/about Sorsha/MP on the next day. Whatever you take from that, I don't know. I am just stating the facts.Golden wrote:Elo went for Sorsha on day 3, then came this on day 4.
This felt like it was in response to people suggesting Elo had info, to me, and I took this post to mean 'I didn't have info'.Elohcin wrote:I wouldn't say I was focused on Sorsha. I am more focused on those who are eagerly willing to battle. I asked MP as well about his eagerness. I wanted to get feedback from both of them. Voting for Sorsha and asking Sorsha and MP about their eagerness are not related in my thought process.
The idea elo could have been recruited in there is viable, but I wouldn't call it a fact.

Hmm...I cannot find what I was talking about. I must have misread something at the time. Derp.
Sorry, I've really not been paying attention too much all game.
I believe the only other person to plainly say he suspected me was Luffy, but if I recall that was a.miscommunication. Is that who you're thinking of?

Would they really have done that if they were both bad? Wouldn't that be too obvious? I mean...we were allowed to vote ourselves. SO...if they were both bad, why not both just self vote, then there is no connection to be made between the two of them.
**Disclaimer** this post in no way supports the idea that the self voters (for prefect) were/are bad :P
On another note: I can see the Quin suspicion/theory as being true.

I don't think it would be a bad strategy for that team to vote each other. JJJ is pretty much always read as supatown and a low poster like Caps is usually able to slide by unnoticed for a good while. Really it was good luck that MP got lynched this time, since there was no real concerted push against him, and if this is indeed the Yellow Turban team, I wouldn't doubt that they expected to last quite a while without drawing suspicion.
And you're not afraid to lose? Wouldn't you rather vote a very low poster instead?Sorsha wrote:Default for not having a strong second suspicionElohcin wrote:Just curious, Sorsha, Why would you have voted yourself?Sorsha wrote:I'm fine with dueling again but whatever Eloh's implication meant it's not about me being bad. Do you know TH is bad because he's your teammate? or because you know something we don't? (Can you even answer the latter anyway?)
I don't. Been staring at it a while now and I have no clue.nutella wrote:Oh I think I get the chart now?
I was thinking the same thing. And Epi usually accepts group PMs if I remember correctly, so even if there is one active player, they should be able to submit the kill, I would think anyway. However, we have to keep in mind all the secrets and other crap loaded into games like this. You never know what could have happened. Benefits were given out to the prefects as well as the winner of the Day 1 Duel. So....maybe one team was inactive and the other had something working against them. Not sure. But I am with you that there has to be at least some inactive baddies b/c there are so many inactives in the first place.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:So, we have two baddie factions that are supposed to kill each night and neither of them did. There are obviously other possibilities, but this game is as lurker-loaded as anticipated so it could be.
Shoot, I looked at that post from Epi and I thought....."whatever, moving on," There's probably something like a 90% chance that Zhuge Liang is wrong. Nobody died, there are two mafia teams that can kill. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them missed their kill.
And in other news, JaggedJimmyJay is bad.
I'm not sure I really understand your point. I think most people are voting JJJ because: #1) He is a thorough player and #2) He is an active player and we know he won't flake on us a few days in.Dragon D.
