It was me. My role is Monica and to invite at least 4 people to a lynch party. After trying my best to get the opinion of who I believed to be town and taking my own thoughts into consideration, I chose the three current poll options as well as Jay. Then Jay was killed. I asked Epi if I needed to choose another invite and he said no, it will be as it is. Jay and chuck were my top suspects of all. I really felt with the list narrowed to these we would get a baddie for sure. But now, as we already got jay before the poll could even go up, I am not so sure. I feel bad, but the consensus was the people I picked. I know several people were happy with the three choices at the beginning of the day. Now, at least we have gained info through role claims and can move forward from it.

I'm not complaining about my upcoming demise. Kylemii, if telling the truth, has a lot of value. But if he doesn't use it soon, like tonight, I'd lynch the heck out of him for having such a simple role claim.

The thing is he's telling the truth.

I said the third thing, about lynching Luna three days in a row. I have the radio, it gives me a chat. I said that because I was pissed that we kept starting and letting Luna slip off.

So sprit is telling the truth and I can corroborate it. If you are gonna vote for him, do it knowing he did not make that stuff up. That would be a bizarre power for a baddie.

during the night, the people on the poll were like the top suspects. Now that it is just between them, we are reconsidering. I don't know what to make of that. If we are reconsideration is good, then at least this short list has helped us understand better who to trust.

Luna seems anti-aligned with Quin. Luna seems anti-aligned with DH. Luna was the alternate to a mafia lynch two or three times already. Luna, like you, is/has been a common mislynch target.

And on top of all that, I have no idea just WHY you're scumreading her. I've seen nothing out of the ordinary that would point to Luna being scum. She's been opportunistic, hasty, hasn't always made sense in voicing some of her suspicions... That's all normal.

It's not that we're dropping her for no reason. We have several reasons to drop her, and basically none to keep on her.

Speed and Luna are married IRL. Have they ever been scum together before? If so, THAT is where we need to look. It is different when your own spouse is on your team.

See it's posts like that that are the reason I can't clear you. That "Derp". Making someone feel silly for having a suspicion most don't is baddie 101. It's also not something I associate with you as an individual. I don't know you IRL, but you don't strike me as someone who says things like "derp" to people.

This is not RL. It is a game. And yes, those that I am close to and know me well, I have no problem saying derp to them. I also say derp to myself. For instance, I am about to put the milk in the cabinet instead of the fridge..."derp!"

And as I said, "would" is like the word "but" to me. Everything that comes after it is questionable. It's speculation. I have seen a team NK their own member for cred; ALL the teammates violently bus each other out of the gate; out another teammate with fake info, lots of other things I can't recall. Most of us playing in the 10 or 10+ year range have seen more shenanigans than we can remember.

This is Mafia. Almost EVERYTHING is speculation.

So "would" has a place, but it should not be at the head of the table in pride of place.

Jay is being opportunistic in his votes and vague in his suspicions. I know he said he was going to low ball this game, but in the time it took him to write some of those "Dear Dad" schtick posts early in the game he could have written three earnest, real posts. I don't buy the schtick, it felt to me like he was hiding behind it. He felt like he was pocketing people right and left. He does not feel even remotely genuine to me. With love, Jay

Kyle I have to pull quotes etc. But it is more thread based with him. His waffly thing yesterday followed by no actual vote ... I actually did that in a game once to avoid voting for a teammate. Said I was voting the teammate but "forgot" in a close lynch. I am not seeing the same person I saw in a recent game where he was civ. When I have more time later I will pull quotes for you. If I forget to do it, tag me this evening.

When I came into the thread for the first time that day, I think DH had a few more votes than Luna. I remember because I was surprised he had so many votes when he was not even really talked about much before then.

I didn't vote for DH. I had a crazy busy day, came into the thread (still working at the time) and said I would not have time to catch up. I kindly asked if those voting for DH (he had the most votes at this time) would tell me why they were voting for him. I had not seen any suspicious activity from him prior so I didn't know what had happened in the past 20 hours or so that I had been sleeping/working. N one would even acknowledge me!!! They acted like I wasn't even in the room. I asked several times over the course of the evening (while I still worked and had no time to pay attention to the thread) and still was ignored. Luna had the second most votes and I really didn't think she was bad at the time, so I picked someone else knowing it wouldn't determine their fate. I could lie instead and say....I was forced to vote so--and-so and that is why I didn't vote DH. But I rarely lie in mafia and even more rarely as a civ in mafia. I don't know what else to say to cover my ass, but it is what it is. I have 5 orders this week, a cake tasting, school, and running our co-op on top of that (then of course normal keeping up the household stuff). I will not be devastated if you all vote me out, but it will be a waste of a vote.

Quin is dead and flipped mafia. However, I don't think they'd have killed him if he was right about just one person. So he probably had more mafia members on that list.

I am not mafia and I still don't understand the DH votes even though I am glad you guys got him. I just don't understand why someone wasn't nice enough to explain it to me. And I would not kill TH this early in a game. I like him too much. That has to be a set up. Since he is suspecting me, mafia thinks if they kill him, you all will look at me. Why would I do that. Why would I go after the guy who suspects me so you will all look at me. When I am mafia, I try to kill as random as possible so no one can trace the kill. Derp, people.
