From the beginning, I thought that among the baddies were Roxy, Rusti, and LT. So, if the game had played out differently, I could have been convinced that Roxy was the last baddie, but LT was already under so much suspicion.Bullzeye wrote:
You're welcome, we all really enjoyed it. I honestly think most of our failures had nothing to do with you or the way you set up the game. Our first big loss was MP being frozen and then lynched while a bullet bill. If neither of those things had happened we'd have been far better off. Then there was the tied lynch between BWT and myself. If it weren't for that then we'd have won in water world I think (based on presumable numbers) or at least won shortly after. I personally remained optimistic about our chances up until the tied lynch and regularly pointed out ways we could still win. Honestly we could've even had the game right at the end if Elo hadn't come back and SVS had trusted LT.

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Endgame]
I had no secret info, but I had a deep gut feeling LT was bad by the way she was acting. MP was sticking up for her behavior and telling me I had no clue what I was talking about. When he turned out baddie, I was pretty sure my gut was right all along.S~V~S wrote:Yay civvies
Sorry I kept getting all paranoid on you Mongoose, you too, Elo. Did you have info? After you died, I realized you were acting like a civ who was trying to make a case on someone they KNEW was bad.

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Night 10]
Yee-Haw! I am so glad to be back!

I agree with this. I have thought LT was bad form the get-go if you remember. It was gut then, but after watching the game from my grave, I think you all have good reasons for thinking it now.Mongoose wrote:Well, if this helps, I wouldn't have killed BWT if I was Bowser because I think he marginally trusted me more than you do and was leaning more to voting for LT if Bullz flipped baddie, which he did. So it wouldn't make sense for me to kill BWT as Bowser, but it makes a lot more sense for him to die with LT as Bowser.

I believe I'm allowed to postMovingPictures07 wrote:
Elo, it's not that you emphasized being civvie, it's that you led a lynch on Snow Dog given the reason that he seemed to be trying TOO hard to convince everyone was civvie, and then I ironically observed that you seemed to be doing the exact same thing.
I don't understand why you were thinking of me, was it because of the other game? Also, it was Minecraft, not Twin Peaks, and I'll admit to being a huge bowl of fail that game (and I specifically referenced it at least once earlier when talking to S~V~S -- I do NOT want to make mistakes like those again -- I have railroaded enough fellow civvies as civvies for my mafia career).
It's sometimes not that simple. I frankly can't tell LT one way or the other right now, but I do entertain she could be laying low. That being said, I've played games with her for years, and whether she posts a lot or a little... it doesn't exactly correlate to whether she's good or bad. Just because you've had BTSC with someone in one game and they were civvie and then they seem "different" in another it does not necessarily mean they are bad. It could, but there are many factors at play, including IRL, how many games the player is in, if they are hosting any games, etc. etc.

MP, the only thing I said about being civvie (I believe) was after someone in the thread said they thought of me as civvie (don't remember who). And, all I said was that I was glad to be civvie and be seen as civvie. I guess it was minecraft where you had me pegged at baddie when I was civvie, you could be right. You could also be right about LT, but I just get the sense that she is bad. And, if you don't want to make a mistake about my allegience (as you did in minecraft) then you ought to trust me as civ.

I'm getting ready to leave, so I don't have time to figure out which names to post. I won;t throw just any names out because I wouldn't want to silence someone that I think should be able to talk, so I guess I won't write any names. Sorry, Epi.

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Day 4]
Lordy! I post that I am excited that people are not wrongly suspicious of me and it makes you all suspicious of me!!! Apparently I have no clue how to play a civ role.
About LT. She is usually more informed and contributes more. She is intelligent and keeps track of the ins and outs of the game. She knows whats going on and can usually guess why tings are happening and shares those thoughts in posts on the thread. There hasn't been much (if any) of that this game. I find her behavior odd. Perhaps it is just RL taking precedent. But, why jump in last minute to play when the game is already filled anyway and you don't really have time for it?

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Day 2]
What exactly about my quotes about being civ are suspicious? When I wrote that, I was actually thinking of you:). How ironic that YOU are the only one that finds my post suspicious. I think it was twin peaks mafia where I was civ and you were crazy suspicious of me just because I was talkative and I could do NOTHING to prove to you I was not baddie. So, what exactly is suspicious about me talking about the frustration that comes with being civ but being thought baddie?MovingPictures07 wrote:Elo, here is the post:
Elohcin wrote:Thank you, Hedgeowl, birdwithteeth11, Bullzeye, and thellama73 for the votes/coins. It is nice to be civ and to be seen as civ.
Very suspicious, IMO. I think for this I am throwing a vote in her direction today. It's not enough alone for me to crusade that she is baddie, but it's something I found notable.Elohcin wrote:I understand it is always nice to be seen as civ. But, its crazy frustrating when you are civ but thought bad. It is so much more fun to play a game without that frustration.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Oh, Elo, I also meant to say I thought your Day 3 arguments against LT were a bit strange. Could you clarify those for me? I do agree she has been quiet, but I haven't seen anything to sway me one way or the other on her yet.
I have played with Little Tiger before. I have had BTSC with her in a previous game. She doesn't even seem like the same player at all in this game. That makes me suspicious.

I'm sorry MP, what did I do to become a suspect for you? I must not have caught that.MovingPictures07 wrote:Interesting that we have three people removed from the poll. I do agree there have to be a few factors going around here.
As to Birdo... that sucks. Here's hoping it's not a powerful secret.
So let's go with discussion, shall we? I have to say my eyes are squarely still on Elohcin for reasons I stated earlier, and for the fact that people seem to be ignoring what I pointed out to be a very huge inconsistency (she didn't even address it at all). That being said, Russ is probably my #1 candidate and Bullz is #3, both of which because of my gut interpretation of their intentions (and what I've noted previously), and I do think Russ's vote yesterday was very odd and bandwagony AND Russ's 'giant' claiming (which I believe to be false, and I think Nev was onto something). I do wonder if Lizzy and/or Vomps have been playing us; I also do still wonder about Hedge, but IDK.
I'll definitely be going for either Russ or Elo, just not sure which quite yet. Leaning Russ, but I really want some feedback before I vote. Unfortunately, it'll have to be tonight for me too, unless I wait until the morning.
Sorry, I will get to adding more smileys ASAP. I've been way too swamped and haven't gotten to them even though I know I needed to.Hedgeowl wrote:Mushroom walks into a bar and the bartender says, "We don't serve your kind here." The mushroom says, "What's a matter? I'm a fungi! (Badum-ch)
You are indeed Toad.
So this is the role with secrets? Well that is not helpful. Clearly they are good secrets if its the second role the baddies have paid to get. Although just the advantage of having secrets is good too I guess.
Also, I now remember what I kept trying to think of yesterday. PM my number guess to Epi.![]()

Okay, so who are we suspicious of from those whose names are removed (Little Tiger, Mongoose, and Vomps)? You all know I have been suspicious of LT form the beginning (Sorry LT, no personal offense). I am not sure about Vomps. And, I have only gotten good vibes from Mongoose. Needless to say, we cannot vote for any of them today, but we can still talk about them.Mongoose wrote:Well Baddie A could have removed Baddie B's name, just like Air King could remove Civ C from the list. That doesn't make sense to me.Mongoose wrote:Yeah, there's definitely multiple factors going on here. Something about Birdo sitting on the player like an egg to hide him/her from the lynch.

Catching up was quite enlightening. I agree that Mongoose is reaching with no case that I can see with LT and Elohcins quick second vote for LT twitched the hell out of my nose. I want to be sympathetic and understanding. I agree with you that these 24 hour days go by quick. However, I am still suspicious of you for what seems like odd behavior to me. If you wouldn't have signed up knowing it was a speed game, then I guess you won't be too upset if you get lynched.LittleTiger wrote:RIP Nevinera!
I already explained why I seem quiet. As I said before, I really dislike 24hr days as I do not have much time each day to play (had I known it was 24hr days, I wouldn't have signed up), I sleep late, go to bed early and have other interests that I pursue during the few hours I have online. My online time is also limited based on when my husband is around as he doesn't like me being on the computer all the time - this game started on one of those time periods.Elohcin wrote:Woop Woop! This is very true. With the civs outnumbering the baddies, we are always likely to lynch a civ on the first day. Jumping on the gleam voters will most likely only bring us to lynching another civ. Okay, okay!
I give up on the water thing. Haha! Seriously, though...I was nine years old when Super Mario 3 came out. I watched my brother play more than I actually played myself. Watching water world was a lot of fun. All I remember about it was the swimming part and pushing 'up' a million times so you didn't drown.
Maybe we are grasping at straws (as someone else said), but gleam did seem awful knowledgeable and confident about the baddie roles. Then, he did vote really early without an explanation (unless I missed it in my read-through).
Because I have nothing else to go on, I will vote for gleam. Also, I will vote we go to Giant World next. I think I remember that one being fun to watch

I actually think this sounds very logical. It may work in our (civie) favor to go in order. Then again, seeing as this was gleam's idea and I am kind-of suspicious of gleam right now, maybe it will work in favor of the badies if we go in the order of Super Mario 3. I think I know Epi pretty well and I know his take on organization. I think we ought not go in order.agleaminranks wrote:I vote we go to the desert world next. Would be the next area we would play chronologically in Mario Bros 3.

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Day 1]
Day 1! Woo-Hoo!
I think the way the baddie roles will work is interesting. I really hope Epi decides to always show who we are up against.
linki SVS - I voted water because I actually liked the water world in Mario. Also, I grew up in FL, swimming is what we did all the time and I loved it.

Re: Classic Super Mario Bros. [Warp Zone]
Yay Game!
I will vote for water. I love to swim and the water levels on Mario were always so fun.
