Return to “Occultism Mafia - THE END”

I can see it INH's way. It still makes for a balanced game IMO even if Abram needed to get the baddies out to gain his power. However, I wouldn't call it civvie-neutral. I would call it a last-man-standing role. He needs everyone gone to win but only gains his powers once the baddies are gone. If we weren't so good at getting the baddies this quickly, it would have taken him longer to gain his powers or we may have even lynched him before he was able to gain his powers.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I dunno if I agree. There are so many civvie players, I have a hard time seeing Abramelin aligned with them, even at the beginning.insertnamehere wrote:I really don't know who to look at. I'd assume that Abramelin was civvie-neutral before he had his little "operation", and possibly had to get the baddies out in order to make himself stronger.
Linki: thanks llama.
It was not an accusation. It was a question. I can think of times when baddies have faked insanification when they were under suspicion. No one seems to like to lynch an insanified player. So...it came to my mind that since she was under suspicion, maybe she was faking. But again, I am not accusing her of doing so. I am just throwing it out there as a possibility.Vompatti wrote:That's a pretty bold accusation. Have you any evidence to back that up?Elohcin wrote:Could Mongoose be pretending to be cursed with her haiku talk so we will look at other players? If I were in her position (after the MP lynch) I would do the same thing. Thoughts?
I have to agree with this statement. However after reading all the back and forth between Dom and Boogs, I am not sure which of them is bad or if either of them is bad. I would lean ore towards Boogs however.Dom wrote: LINKI
Epig didn't bite.
You wanted to see if he would lead a lynch on Elohcin for you.
I am fine with a change too. I will be voting tonight before I go to bed and wish I could hear form more players before I had to vote. At this time I am thinking Boogs. It isn't just his actions but a vibe too. I hate using that word but it is the only one I can think to use. Well..I guess ping works.S~V~S wrote:Thank You for the reply![]()
@LlamaLllama~ you had offered earlier; next phase can we change the poll time? If everyone is OK with that? Mornings are pretty awful for me, and I hate making uninformed votes (following on phone at work), or voting too early if i am not sure I can keep up on phone at work.
ThanksS~V~S wrote:I logged in as White Queen & voted the host/non option, and she cannot revote.
I think this is very insightful. It was Mongoose that said this on page 2:Vompatti wrote:To what extent to you think MP got to decide what to say in the above posts? Their structure is clearly that of a horoscope. Also, did anyone else notice he used the word "behoove"? I don't think that's a coincidence.
Any reason you didn't mention that at the time of your vote? It wasn't obvious to me. At the time I thought you all were voting him b/c of the way he was posting (which didn't seem rational).Vompatti wrote:It was rational because he voted for Lizzy for no reason, which was pretty much the only suspicious thing that had happened in the game by that time.Boogs wrote:Mp- Those two votes (Vomps and A Person) didn't really make sense. Like I totally get Day 1 is a crap shoot but Vomps said it was rational to vote him. How so?A Person wrote:That is why I'm voting Epi, I'm not sure what else to doVompatti wrote:I'd rather not vote Epi because I've been enjoying his posts so far, but if I choose to be rational that's probably where my vote will go.
And A Person voted Epignosis in accordance with a quote from Vomps and saying he isn't sure what else to do. Just seemed like an easy way out on that Epignosis train.
But I have to consider not all votes were in it looked like also. But we have not much to go on beside the vote record and content so far which isn't much posting.
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood why you all were voting him then. You are right though...I didn't see an explanation for his vote. I agree that I wouldn't think a civvie would vote without explanation but then again I wouldn't think a baddie would either.MovingPictures07 wrote:I should clarify: I'm a bit more apt to look that way (at non-Epig voters) because I don't have as solid reads on any of them right now, and I believe they could have avoided responsibility for their votes.
That's not to say Epig voters can't be bad, and I'm willing to consider it, but none of the votes struck me as that opportunistic, really.
I don't know what kind of civilian votes for someone on D1 and never explains his vote, but that's what Epig did, and the things that civilians (including myself :P) sometimes do never cease to amaze me.
I didn't say he did it because he trusted my randomized vote. I said he may voted my way to subtly show he thought I was civ. Really it was mostly a joke though anyway b/c you all were talking (again) about how he is so good at reading me.S~V~S wrote:But you randomized. How would following a random vote because he trusts you make him civ? If anything it looks like him kissing up to you.Elohcin wrote:Epignosis wrote:7 MovingPictures07 was on a journey to the temple, as was his custom. Maybe Epi voted Lizzy to subtly say that he thinks I am civvie this game. He would be right.
You convinced me.
*voting Epi*
