Honestly, I have been majorly busy and have not been keeping up like I wish I could. However, I still think Dana is bad. I've posted my reasons and others have stated theirs as well. I also have this gut ping that Epi is bad (sorry Epi) but have no evidence to back it up b/c he is playing a very civ-like game.

Woot Woot People! I picked a yummy salad with lots of crunchy goodness - like sunflower seeds, carrots, and crunchy lettuce of course. But don't forget the boiled eggs and cranberries. Mmm mmm!

So we went on an awesome field trip today! I didn't say I thought you were "not very civ" that is twisting words a bit. I said I thought Epi seems more civ than you. Meaning, I am more sure that Epi is civ than I am sure that you are.

As for Dana, why would I vote her when my vote would be meaningless?

I don't know....I just don't agree that you would necessarily be able to read them b/c they are your friends. Like I said, I play Mafia with my husband of eleven years, dating him for 15, and he acts totally different in Mafia than in real life. On top of that he acts totally different in each game. So, I don't think it is necessarily good to seek comfort in those we feel we know better than others. But, Made and Enri may just be that transparent and readable people. But I can imagine they are smart enough to know how to put on an act when they feel the need.

It is why I voted for her Day 2. She was so defensive of Enri and trying to keep voters away from him and when I asked her (paraphrasing) "why? Do have reason to believe he is civ?" she said nah, she didn't know his affiliation at all but that she knew him IRL and sticks with people she is "familiar" with.

Then today, her actions have been no different in that she is talking about how she felt both options in the last lynch were civ options and yet she still voted for one of them. She saw no reason to vote for who she thought was bad.
Of course I care if the player lynched is a civ, that's why I'm trying to figure out who is bad and who is not. I said I didn't know Enrique's affiliation because I don't. I don't know anyone's but my own for certain. I do think he is a civ because I know him well (though not IRL) and he doesn't seem to be acting odd. Am I not able to use information from people's personality outside of the context of mafia to tell if there's a suspicious change in their behavior? I never said that I "stick with people" I'm familiar with, I said I may defend them slightly more than others because I'm still new to the game and I don't know anyone else well enough to be able to say if they're not acting normal or not. I do know Enrique well enough (I think) to say that he IS acting normal.

I didn't feel both options in the last lynch were civ at the time the lynch was happening. I explained already that I feel that way now that Epig's role has been revealed. Meaning I thought SD was civ and I still do even after what happened. I did vote for who I thought was bad, and I was wrong.

You can sometimes use people's personalities outside of mafia to decipher their mafia affiliation. I would never do that with Epi (my husband) however, b/c I know his mafia actions do not always reflect his true personality. But, you didn't say that the first time I asked. You only said something to the effect of sticking with what is familiar.

Still, your behavior is fishy to me.

To be honest, I am getting MP in Clue mixed up with MP in Dr. Who in my head. I would need to reread him. Made.....I don't really read him well. I think this is my second game with him. What are the concerns about made? I believe Dana will get my vote again unless something changes.

Three civ roles appear to have the ability to potentially survive an NK on their own; Mickey, Sarah Jane and Captain Jack. So what makes it so suspish? Plus the person who attempted to kill Elo was a civvie. I am curious why her survival does not seem as bad to you.

Look harder....there are other civ roles with surviving skills.

I think you may be onto something with Dana. I have only been in one other game with Dana and she didn't talk much. In fact, Made seem to talk for her a good bit. So, I was going to disagree with your opinion of her being too "unaccusatory". I was thinking, nah, this is normal for her. But then I read that you say she was quite defensive of Enri and that seemed odd so I went back to look at her posts. Her behavior may be seen as that of a newbie baddie. I am going to vote there.
The only game we've played in together was my very first. This one is my third, and I have been unaccusatory every game, especially so early on when there's really not much to go on. I really hate calling people out in general for anything, so playing Mafia has been pretty difficult for me sometimes. Made and Enrique are both very good friends of mine, and I don't know anyone else very well at all, so familiar names are comforting.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. I have no idea if he's bad or not, but he doesn't seem to be acting too differently from his normal self. I defended him because I thought MP's attack of him was a bit uncalled for.

Okay, well that is not a good reason IMO. I think we ought to defend those we think are civvie despite out RL involvement with them. If I don't have to vote to save myself, you will get my vote.

Sorry, I have no suspicions. I thought I made it clear I wasn't really keeping up with this game. I simply cannot do two games at once. But, I am trying to be a helpful civ by voting for who everyone else (who is keeping up) suspects. I joined this game b/c I was asked to by a few people. I guess it was a bit slow in sign-ups or something.
But what if the people keeping up and you are following are bad? I understand about hard to keep up but I am hostying and playing-----I still have thoughts to share.

Everyone is different in the amount of Mafia they can take on. We all have RL responsibilities. I personally teach preschool, Kindergarten, and third grade Monday - Friday, run a household (laundry, cleaning, dishes, the whole shebang minus cooking dinner. My lovely and talented husband is am amazing cook!) and care for three children 7 and under 24/7 (I say 24/7 because lately I haven't even been able to sleep soundly. I am trying to train my 2 yr old not to wet the bed which means I have to be awake enough to hear him begin rustling in his sheets and get up to take him to the bathroom before the accident occurs and this happens 2-3 times a night). I also run my own business which takes up approximately 20 hours a week. I'm not complaining. I love my life
