It definitely looked strange, but I myself am far from convinced you are a civvie, so I'm not sure whether it was a baddie team acting in concert (unlikely since I think there is only one member on each team) or some other shady behind the scenes mumbo jumbo. I think there are still a lot of secrets in this game, which makes analysis tough.Chronos wrote:I hope so.Apollo wrote:I'm thinking one left on each team, because I think Pandora's flip was a lie.Chronos wrote:Does anyone want to discuss how many baddies are on each team? Anyone think one of the New Gods got NK'd? Just looking at how many players are left, it's very possible.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Night 7
After much consideration, I've decided to cast my vote for Pluto today.
Here are my reasons:
1. Eros wanted Pluto lynched before he died, and Eros has a good track record of knowing people's alignments.
2. In the tied lynch between Pluto and Phoenix, there were shenanigans to save one or both of them, resulting in a civ death (a civ who was suspicious of Pluto) I would vote for Phoenix if he were on the poll, but he is not.
3. The timing of his Phoenix vote does look like it was meant to save Pandora.
4. This quote feels entirely too eager to deal out death for a supposedly peace-loving civ.

Apollo wrote: I'm getting a really bad vibe from Pandora, but she hasn't been around much today, so let's see if we can't coax her out with a vote. After all, I was cheated out of voting for her yesterday when I wanted to.
Votes Pandora
Apollo wrote: Pandora, honestly your comment about "there's no reason to suspect me yet" was a super big red flag for me. I believe it was a slip, and that's what I'm basing my vote on.
Aphrodite and Pluto, I wanted to vote for her yesterday, but I couldn't because she had just been reborn, as Eros kindly pointed out to me as I announced my intentions.

I've explained more than once that I didn't vote for him two days ago because by that time I thought Hinzelmann was probably dead. When Hinzelmann proved to be alive, I immediately voted for Phoenix (for which you criticized me. Make up your mind.)Aphrodite wrote: Apollo why didn`t you respond to Phoenixs last post? Asking about your "case" and that you really haven`t tried to lynch him and when you had the chance to finally vote him after talking about him for DAYS you did not vote for him.tbh its that post of his coupled with Ceres thoughts that really make me doubt he is in fact Hinzelman.
Then he miraculously survived the lynch which should have claimed either his or Pluto's life, and I cannot vote for him today. Why didn't I "lead" a lynch against him? I was unaware that I held a leadership position in this body. I voted for him yesterday and convinced many others to do the same. I'm not sure what else I could have done. I will be voting for him again tomorrow, assuming I survive that long. I still think his voting record tallies with Hinzelmann's kills better than that of any other player.

What do you think of Eros throwing down his suspicions on you?
Who are you focused on this lynch?
for me it between Mars, Pluto or maybe you. But I want to see if you can actually lead us to a baddie first before I start throwing my votes at you.
Ceres - I asked earlier but maybe you missed it, how sure are you about Phoenix?
1. East is where the Sun lives, and Apollo wants to go home. Why is everyone else so determined to keep me from getting there?
2. Eros turning on me did not surprise me at all. Whenever someone goes without too much scrutiny for a long period of time, they deserve to be examined. No one has given me all that hard of a time so far, despite my high post count, so I expected people to start looking at me.
3. I want to see whether Hinzelmann kills tonight. Phoenix missed the vote, so that will tell me a lot. I also think Eros' dying case on Pluto must be taken very seriously, since he flipped civ and had shown remarkable prescience earlier. Mars is certainly another possibility, but I don't feel like I have a concrete case on him, more of a gut feeling, and my gut has been sorely flawed this game.

The empirical evidence said nothing about the living or dead status of Hinzelmann. It said IF Hinzelmann is alive, he is likely to be one of these people. I now know he is alive (it is conceivable that he was Chronos, but I think this unlikely) so I am going with what I have.

Interesting point about recruitment. Do you think the original Hinzelmann could be dead and a recruit of his is now killing? That would make our analysis of missed votes fairly useless, if true.

I don't really see the case on Pluto either, but Eros challenged him a little earlier and said he was thinking of voting for him, so I wanted to hear what he had to say.Vesta wrote:Alright, I am throwing out my idea that Electra is another Hinzie candidate. Rereading her 13 posts, she didnt vote Day 1, so no way she could have killed that night. Looks like Phoenix is once again the best candidate, so thats most likely where I will vote today. I thought him more likely a spook, but worth considering Electra on that front.
Helios...I'll be watchin' you too I think.
Linki - what is the case on Pluto? I feel like I missed something.
Eros wrote:I wouldn't mind a Pluto lynch.Pluto wrote:RIP Medusa and Chronos. I wasn't 100% sure on either of you. I was leaning civvie on Medusa and have no idea on Chronos.
Aphrodite, why do you think Eros has never been suspicious of Apollo? Because I was under the impression that Eros was initially early on in the game.
I've demonstrated my goodness, and you doubted it.Pluto wrote:Glad to see Eros has given plenty of thought and time into his early vote. I might have to re-read him today. Because he's starting to give me the willies at times.
I don't seem to be on the poll today. So thank you Mr. Ibis for that!

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day 7
Eros, who do you think is more likely to be bad, Mars or Pluto?
