I disagree that this precludes foreign languages. We could easily choose one at the beginning of each day period, after he's sent his PM but before saying anything else that could make it work. However, it is possible that option would hinder discussion, which is a legitimate concern. I don't really see a no-risk option, as simply ignoring his power risks him potentially running lynches himself.
