All righty then, not sure what I think of this. I don't know that anyone was actually "outed" via info, maybe more like by process of elimination, maybe? I said Shand & Euro were the SKs by process of elimination (on further rereading, I eliminated Izett, and earlier, Miyuki from that list).

Also, from what you are saying, I am guessing that someone tried to kill you with your own power? That is more like info than outing IMO, and I have kind of been forced into a corner here, which I don't love, but I will do the thing I have to do when the time comes. The die is cast, so to speak.

Well, I agree with Orange that he is a disgruntled baddie, and I did not find a totally cohesive train of thought in his random lyrics. I am not 100% sure how you extrapolated what you did from what he said, to be honest. But listening to dead baddies is a perilous undertaking, and I would be careful before I did it. Certainly he should be able to say whatever he likes (that the host allows) but I think we should ignore it.

And I personally (obviously) thought Shand was an SK. Just as I revised my opinion of you with some rereading earlier in the game, I revised my opinion of Izett, and now believe that Shand & Euro are the SKs. So maybe I am missing what you are talking about.

I think it more likely that it was a lynch stop. From playing in Roxs' other games, I know that when she has a lynch stop, no one dies. And generally when she ends a day, it ends when the PM is time stamped, and I cannot imagine that Fane would have voted, and then dawdeled around before sending his PM. I think 10 people could have voted, Shand, and only Fanes vote counted.

So, assuming that this is the case, no other ideas how you could have survived? Sure it wasn't that prize? Or maybe the words "secret" after your role?

I think you are an SK, Izett, and Fane is a Wicked. I also think that Shand is a Free Thinker with you. I think it likely that if you have not recruited, or if your recruit died, that Euro is most likely of the three of you to be civ, based on her replies the past few days. Shands sudden leap into overdrive after lurking in the shadows fopr days confirms this for me. I was sure of you, but waffled between Shand & Euro.

Now I think Shand more than Euro.

i said in the post where I said you were suspicious (did you stop reading when i named you?) that I have reread Miyuki, and see the error of my ways regarding her; her style is one that perplexes me, but that does not mean she is bad. Also, to answer an earlier post about the night I spoke; I had reason to believe that none of the the words I was saying were the word we needed to fear. Just as I knew that some people knew the word on prior nights, and spoke to warn us. I had reason to know that. I have no clue what Carmen was talking about re the role stealing, but perhaps other people knew the word on occasion.

And I mentioned the recruit theory earlier, that the SKs had a recruit. Its a theory. I could be wrong.

I find it interesting that suddenly I am public Enemy Number One, right after I post a post saying I suspect Lyel, Euro, Shand and Fane. I know Lyel & Fane are popular suspects, Euro has come up a few times, but Shand has not gotten a lot of attention. Or, like I said, that right after mentioning the possibility of a recruit on a team with secrets, in a game where info is a prize, for that matter.

Euro, I agree on those 3 names. I'm not sure if I agree with the order though. I actually might be more keen to go for Anchorete first. But I'm saying this pre-reread on any of them. I have a little work to finish up, and then I'll try to get some rereads in. We're definitely gonna need to talk this one out and do it together though, there's no denying that.

Euro, I brought up everybody in my post, not just you.

I think it is very possible that Fane is bad; I included him in my "Possibly Bad" section, along with you and Shand (and the super silent Lyel).

And if we lynch Fane, and he comes up bad, that will not clear anyone else from being bad as we also have a Serial Killer team with "secret" powers. And in many, many games that I have played, Serial Killer teams often have recruits. So

TBH, I forgot there was a kill on Night 8 as well, I barely recalled Lyel being alive, lol, much less dead. I hope he has the time to stop in and share with us over the next few days

And yeah, I reread Euro last night, and she has a few awesome posts and then filler, so not sure what to think of her. Shand has me a bit more curious as he started off strong, and has faded from view which piques my curiosity about him. Rounding out the "?" file is Fane. Having replaced in myself and read the thread as a whole, I can see how Fane1.0 was very suspicious, but he seemed less so after he replaced, so I am not sure if I am seeing the player or the role. I have to reread him next. As for Miyuki, I saw something in her posts that has given me pause, especially after comparing her in my mind to people I know who play a similar game. I still don't love the role hint push, BUT the alleged hinter did turn up bad, and her whole team is dead, so there is no nefarious intent in it that I can see, so I think I may have been mistaken there.

If any of Orange, Izett or Deirdre are bad, they are really good at it as I can see no reason to think they are.

I did think Laine was suspect, but I would have called him for the other team, not this one. Perhaps my thought that Dallon was bad is wrong, or perhaps HE was on the Wicked team.

I feel Shand is being blendier than he needs to be. Euro as well; I had her pegged as a potential last teammate of Carmen if there was one, but numerically that is not possble, so perhaps she is on the Wicked team or an SK? There are very limited civs left, so after Carmen is gone we have some hard calls to make.

And tbh, I was taken aback when I mentioned a hint I thought I had seen, and you were like, "Well who said it? What did they say?". When someone asks a question, a civvie tries their best to answer it, but i feel your questions cross the line into target painting.

I get called out a lot, ALOT, based on meta game and subtext and tone, and mostly it is crap. But I am learning to moderate; not because I feel that I need to moderate (I think I'm great as I am

) but because others must think I do, because I am always getting called out by other civs when I am one.

I know you are an experienced player, based on your game play, and perhaps you do not see this about yourself as a gameplayer, but you are hella intimidating at times (I know that I can be as well, and irl, I am afraid of my own shadow half the time, lol).

And enough playing the "Why Must I be so Misunderstood" defense (and I will force you to stop talking at night). We will talk about this (much too extensively, I am sure) during the next night. For now let's lynch Carmen

I am going to vote for Carmen, because I think she is bad. But I am going to keep talking this day becasue Miyuki has been running this thread, and I think she is bad too, and she needs to be next. She spent today flinging tons o'mud hoping some of it would stick. I think she named everyone but me, Izett & Shand (or maybe I missed where she mentioned me or Shand).

No I am not mad, but I really do think you are trying to push everyone in the direction you want to go, and I don't think that that is a civvie direction. Today you really reminded me of one of those fireworks that spins in a circle, spewing sparks in every direction. You just threw mud every which way. And you have been making a bid to control conversation, and trying to get people to tell what they know and how they know it. When I said I thought I saw someone make a role hint, you basically MADE me say what I saw, and I don't see that as a civ thing to do. The reason Carmen lived as long as she has is that several people backed off of her more than once due to the "role hints" you shoved under our noses. I think making role hints is bad enough, but pointing them out to people is something I fail to see as being civvie minded.

Some of the mud you flung was likely good mud, Carmen is last or next to last, on her team. If you are either on the Witch Team or the SKs, then Fane could be on the other team, or Laine. But most of it was just mud, IMO. So that YOU could determine who is next of the lynch parade, and control the rest of the game. Again, not seeing how this could be civ.
