Return to “AMERICAN GODS~ Day 10”
You do realize you had more votes than he did. How did you survive the lynch?Fortuna wrote:Well, bye Arty. I never had anything against you. I just had to vote you to keep myself alive. I'm sure you understand. RIP.
And, I am going with Ohio for sure.
Linki with Eros - I appreciate your support. I don't like to give my opinion unless I think I have something worth saying. I don't like to be hasty or speculate too deeply b/c I know that can be risky.
Linki with Medusa. I think YOU are so bad.
wooo, so many linki, hold on Perse, I will look back and get back to you in a few.
See that wasn't so hard. Why did it take you so long to respond? Why did you ignore Vesta?Fortuna wrote:Fortuna wrote:Athena wrote:How do you know this? Seems to me, only a baddie would be able to say that.Artemis wrote:A lot of civs voted for WisconsinInteresting. I agree with Athena. Can you explain yourself Artemis?
Ah, yes, this post. It caught my eye (meaning - got my interest) when Athena pointed out that Arty said a lot of civs voted for Wisconsin. How would Arty know that a lot of civs voted that way unless he was bad and knew who the civs were. That was all. I thought it was worth looking into. So, I asked Arty to explain himself, i.e. tell us how he knew a lot of CIVS voted Wisconsin. I thought my post was pretty self explanatory.
Linki with Perse....I forgot it was Arty that was the one who said that about the civs voting Wisconsin. This new name thing has be all messed up and confused. I like it when I can put a name with an avatar that I know. It is easier to keep track of who said what.
I won't be holding my breathFortuna wrote:wooo, so many linki, hold on Perse, I will look back and get back to you in a few.
Lemme add to your suspicion. He also said he would look at Wisconsin voters to see if anyone jumped out at him but all he did was post the names of who voted for which state then added nothing else about Wisconsin voters.Eros wrote:Phoenix wrote:I vote Fortuna.Keep this in mind folks. This is the only post Phoenix has made regarding Fortuna. Tagging along with another. Did Persphone grill the bird?Phoenix wrote:correct me if I'm wrong here, but it appears to me that the "case" on Artemis is the supposed "slip" with the "lots of civs voted..." thing and then there seems to be a few circumstantial things that seem reaching a bit. Is there any actual solid evidence?
The things that Apollo said about Fortuna seems more solid than the Artemis stuff in my opinion.
The only time Perseophone mentioned Phoenix is here:
Mark it. Mark it with a B. Then put the Bad Guys in the oven and listen to them scream.Persephone wrote:If I was randomizing I would remove Medusa and Phoenix tbh.

BTW Ceres here is why I am suspicious to Eros, in case you missed it in your last post.Eros wrote:That's the kind of timbre I mean, Ceres. Offensive over little and defensive over little.Ceres wrote:I don't have anything on you right now, but maybe that's just the thing - you come across as way too civ.Persephone wrote:Cere:s tbh Idk wtf to think after today. I cannot believe I am getting votes because I was suspicious of someone who has yet to respond at all not just to me but to anyone. What do you think of the reasons for voting me?
Who do you think you will vote for?
I have the same gut feeling about Apollo still too. That's why I was curios to hear from Eros.
NO UEros wrote:And Persephone's timbre rattles me.
Thats how your response read to me. No need for eyerolling but it is what I feel.Eros wrote:Answering your volley of questions and suspecting you is now vehemence?Persephone wrote:Eros: no need to get your panties in a twist. But again I will ask why are you defending someone that you do not know the alignment of?
Why isn't Fortuna answering herself tbqh your last post feels overly defensive of someone YOU do not even know is civ.
I do not understand your vehemence against me still but I guess that does not matter to you.
Defend herself against what is just laughable at this point. Obviously there is something to defend against since you have been doing all day lol
This was not the way to prove she is townie. All you have proven is she will not cannot or won`t defend herself. Which I absolutely do not understand.
I can't wait for you to post your reason for voting me that I can understand.Hercules wrote:Persephons. You do realize those are not MY reasons for suspecting Fortuna right? Because that is not my reason for suspecting her.Mars wrote:No, they haven't. And it seems odd to have an insanifier that prevents the victim from apparently making any contribution at all, especially when we've seen at least two other, more expected, insanifications this game. I think Artemis is faking. And since I'd better vote now to make sure... *votes Artemis*Vesta wrote:I am still a bit hung up on Artemis. Looking back at votes, she voted for Eros early, when it would make the most sense to hold your vote to defend yourself since she was a top candidate all day. The only way that makes sense is if she knew she would be saved. Lynch switch, votes stolen, etc. The insanification of Artemis also makes no sense. When I went back to see how she defended herself yesterday, it became clear there is no rhyme or reason. She's posting literally anything. It's not a story or specific video and not an insanifier, so I don't see how it isn't faked. Has anyone else been insanified like this so far?
I normally don't like to vote people insanified, but Artemis did have a chance to defend herself and would have been voted again if not for this insanification. Makes me rethink my possible vote for Fortuna today.
I don't trust Persephone either. I really don't see the case on Fortuna; the whole thing about "she voted Atlas, and then he died!" sounds more likely to be setup than bad playing, and at any rate screams WIFOM. I don't like how several people are going after her for, in my view, almost nothing.
Thanks mom for doing this I was going to link up Fortuna`s posts but you have put it very well. I agree with your assesments of low posters. I agree just because they are low posters does not make them non contributors.Ceres wrote:I looked into the Fortuna case and she has 8 posts and missed Night 1 and Day 2 votes. On Day 1 she voted for Atlas because Atlas voted for her - not necessarily a baddie move, but the only situation of its kind so far - please correct me if I am wrong, then jumping on a potential bandwagon against Artemis and lastly not even trying to address the accusations made against her. Apollo might have a point about her being protected.
About low posters - I really don't think they should be ignored.
1. Aphrodite - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N2 - no lynching votes.
2. Ares - 1 post, 1 vote D0.
3. Electra - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N1 - no lynching votes.
4. Helios - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote N2 - no lynching votes.
5. Pandora - 3 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote D2 for Prom.
6. Poseidon - 8 posts, 1 vote D0 and 1 vote D1 for Herpes.
and some special* cases of low posters who have been insanified, but have managed to vote on a regular basis.
1. Mars - 5 posts, missed only N1 vote
2. Herc - 7 posts, missed N1 vote
3. Phoenix - 9 posts, missed D2 vote
*Note that I have not included the insanified posts. These are all players that have less than 10 posts.
If you spot any mistake or if I missed someone, let me know.
At the other end of the spectrum, I think Apollo is the most talkative.:P
And somehow even though you are not Fortuna this feels like a no u.Eros wrote:I mentioned something on Artemis that no one said anything about, but I'm under the impression that no one will vote for a bewitched individual anyway.Apollo wrote:WHo do you think Pluto should have voted for, Eros? You haven't exactly made a case for any alternatives.
Perseophone's going after Fortuna seems awfully opportunistic and Medusa's echoingof it is just ironic.
Elaborate please. I am glad to hear Fortuna, Arte and Athena are nothing for you to be nervous over.Eros wrote:This post makes me way more nervous about its author than its subject.Persephone wrote: But maybe we should look at those who have just latched onto this without adding any of their own originality to the discussion aka Fortuna. here is her post:So what was interesting? What do YOU think about what Arte said? What Athena said? You have just jumped in on this but yet added nothing yourself if it is so interesting I would think you would tell us what is so interesting.Fortuna wrote:Interesting. I agree with Athena. Sure baddies will say "There are a lot/several civs who voted X" I have seen it happen but I have also seen players like Fortuna latching on without putting themselves out there in the limelight like Athena did. I am going to be very interested to see what happens with these three as this day progresses.
I agree here. Arte had 6 votes and Prometheus had 5. So two players who each had a second vote voted for Prometheus or there was a switch or save. I feel the latter is most likely.Apollo wrote:I also am keeping an eye on Artemis, but I think I would rather wait until I can ask her how she survived a lynch and get a coherent answer.
Breathe deep the gathering gloomArtemis wrote:Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

so you are not going to respond to any suspicions against you? Good to know.Fortuna wrote:Michigan.

I distinctly remember having this super wacky teacher from Saint Paul back in high school, so this one's for her.

Glad my point about it still stands.Apollo wrote:Glad I could help.Persephone wrote: Link Apollo - Its not a question but a response to your response about your wanting to vote Poseidon. You said what about it - so I answered.
How often is someone insanified on day 1? Hardly ever!Hermes wrote:Sorry I don't know what's going on in the thread, I'm yet to catch up which is why I voted random.
Also, just because someone is insanified does that mean she is exempt from a day one lynch? It's day one, it's a hard poll. I don't think anyone should be exempt.
