I like one. I hope they say it too, it seems like a good answer.
Watch, they'll probably say 2 now, after all that.

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
Right. Fuzz was shot during the prison break, and his identity was revealed after being shot. (Same as happened to poor LC. He was shot, and his identity revealed.)Prisoner 920077 wrote:So we knew from our prison break that RadicalFuzz was bad, bur he was killed off, right?
But man, there are 17 prisoners... what are the odds only one of us was a baddie in the game? How many of the 17 were old-timey original prisoners vs new additions?
Now, the second question is the crux of the matter, I think. I strongly believe the paroled prisoner (509) was not originally in the game. And I think I would say the same of prisoner 813 (with the Austin Powers avatar). So I wonder how many of the 17 were actually Role Holding Game Thread players, and how many are just 3rd parties. That I do not think I can answer.
IIRC, there were multiple other prisoners shot during that prison break for non-participation - but their identities were NOT revealed after being shot. That led me to believe there was a good number of prisoners that were not originally in the game thread. If that makes sense.

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
There is good reason to believe that there are not 2 baddies in the prison. There was only 1 prisoner who was lynched in the game and flipped a confirmed baddie. So he was a baddie in prison, however he was shot dead during the previous prison break. Any further possible baddies caught have not flipped bad. And there are not 2 Seemers in the role list. So, if and ONLY if the 1 and only Seemer has been lynched (and flipped civ) could there possibly be a baddie in prison.
So, in actuality there are either 1 or 0 baddies in prison - unless the Warden is also a prisoner sock puppet. Which I don't see happening.
I just want to share accurate, up-to-date information, since I am new to the prison and have had access to the outside world (and game thread) most recently.
As for what the other group will say... I have no idea. I think they will definitely guess low though.

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
That's ok - sleep is good!
As one of the newer prisoners, I honestly think it is probably 1 or 0. But I have no idea what the other group is going to say. And we needs to get this one right, big time. Has anyone in our group discussed this in thread with anyone in the other group yet to gauge their feelings?
Also my guess could be wrong, but I feel like I'm right. Prisoner 792, I believe you are new also - what do you think the actual number is?

Exactly.Prisoner 792787 wrote:The question is not "who is the warden" but rather "who will the other team think we think is the warden." With that in mind, I think we should say Epignosis.
Also... no new question yet?

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
Ok, I won't be on in the AM before this question window closes. And since I haven't seen anyone else do this yet...
*final answer*
Epi
I am not sure I think he's the Warden, but that is kind of a moot point for our purposes. Since several of Group 1 said Epi, hopefully there's a chance several in Group 2 will say the same thing. (Or else hopefully they don't wager!)
If anyone comes on before the question closes, feel free to trump the Epi answer. Hopefully we'll have more time at some point to really analyze the Warden's identity with everyone involved (all the prisoners) because the more input and minds at work, the better!
Also, we are again having a TON of no-shows so far.

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
Thank you for the clarification, SD.
Any reason in particular you chose Epi? Or just pulling a name out of a hat?
(Please note - I am not judging your choice, simply on a quest for information. Though I do think pulling a name out of a hat is a genuine strategy for this challenge, as the true identity isn't as important as who the other group will name. At the same time, I also think trying to suss out the true identity could be helpful for future Prison Breaks. )
1 question I would ask prisoners who have been here longer than me - how often have MP and Daisy posted as themselves here for challenges and the like, instead of using the Warden sock puppet account? When was the last time you saw the Warden account active?

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
Yay Group 2 for not betting! Our fellow prisoners are smart cookies! Although, I am super surprised they went with the other prisoner.
This next one, yeesh... this is going to be tough. We have a very small likelihood of getting it right with so many names on the list. I'll stew on it, but I guess my personal guess isn't really that important - what's important is does my guess match Group 2's guess. Seems unlikely.

Yeah! You screw up, you get a shank! I like the way you think.Prisoner 920077 wrote:Voted with the group. You don't post? You get a shank. Don't participate? You get a shank. Make us lose? Yeah, you get a shank. Any questions?
I'll vote for more from mps group btw
I guess I'll vote for more from MP's too. Even though I'm not sure I still understand that whole thing.

Prisoner 413022 wrote:is 219 a no poster or is he the one who spoke English? I missed the conclusion of the last cycle.
Sorry guys, solitary was particularly confining this weekend.
Also - I'm confused as to this challenge.
HOSTES WITH THE MOST!!! I HAVE QUESTIONS!!
1) This at this time - we are just answering the question correct? I assume group 2 is doing the same thing, is that also correct?
2) We can decide to answer this however we wish correct?
3) When it is time to guess, is the "correct" answer going to be the true number of people or the number *we* answered with? (If they differ.)
Ok - I guess this whole post was questions. Don't mind me I've had a rough few days in lock down and I'm going to celebrate my freedom by drinking as much toilet wine as possible.
219 was one of the no-shows - and apparently he has been present in the prison since Day 6, and has not posted since entering prison. That's the only reason I think he's a better vote than the other no-show for Day 8. (If that makes sense.) He's been a no-show longer. (He was not the English posting dude.)
I am still processing the answers to the other questions. So apparently, we just have a 50/50 shot of guessing the same way the other group guesses. Am I understanding this correctly?

Re: [DAY 9] Turf Wars: Prison Edition
I am here as well. I'm voting for Prisoner 21 blah blah blah - because in yesterday's thread it was mentioned that said prisoner arrived Day 6 and hasn't ever posted. That's baloney!
As for guessing who comprises most of this group - I have no idea. Maybe we can all post at least once, and then guess?
