Re: [NIGHT 1] Seinfeld Mafia
The one good thing about Newman being gone is that he can't rat me out to Gina's comatose boyfriend for getting with her.

Re: [NIGHT 1] Seinfeld Mafia
I still don't like Puddy.
Soup Nazi strikes me as the easiest player in the thread to suspect right now for a few reasons:
He's been combative and irritable -- true to the character's nature. He hasn't been thorough in his explanations of his suspicions. People get mislynched in every game for reasons like these. I want someone to tell me what Soup Nazi is guilty of which cannot also be said for half the player roster.
Later:
One minute later:David Puddy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 9:33 am Soup Nazi. I see you banned Jerry, Elaine, and George from your aoup today. Does this mean you think they are bad and going to hell? Explain.
The question posed for Soup Nazi is fine. Before it could resolve into anything though, I'm being fed (I was specifically addressed) a very vague negative read on Soup Nazi. I don't know why it exists beyond "something isn't right with him". That is nothing.David Puddy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 9:34 am Jerry, I don't trust Mr. Soup. Something isn't right with him. More vague suspicion, this time directed at some unnamed grouping of "quiet players". Too easy. This looks like a player trying to look like he's doing something, not a player who's doing something.David Puddy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 9:37 am There are a lot of quiet players though. That doesn't sit right with me either. Lots of quiet players means there are probably some hell-goers lying low and good people not helping. No high fives for them.

1) No. Newman led the tally with 3 votes and my vote was alone on Puddy. I moved to Newman at the last second to assure the final decision would be civilian-controlled.George Costanza wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 5:13 pmYou were after all the deciding vote in Newman's fate, were you not?

What was "real good" was Uncle Leo's provision of a unique element of hunting into the game. It made him look "real good". Reference my ensuing reads list.Elaine Benes wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 3:57 pmReal good? Jerry, this is not real good. I guess we will see how they vote in the future.
Your agreement with your uncle is fake, Jerry. Fake, fake, fake, fake, fake.
What doesn't look "real good" is you making a scene about it here, hurling back indignant accusations at me. It reeks of CFTWR (caught for the wrong reasons).

Re: [NIGHT 1] Seinfeld Mafia
Could be. Here's why I don't agree. She used the word "villa" to describe her read on me. This term is distinct to the Mafia Universe sphere of influence, and that implies there is at least some mafia experience behind that sock -- perhaps even someone relatively new to our site here (welcome if so!). So I doubt there's much to be bewildered about beyond just role play. I cannot readily identify a reason to trust her at the moment.Jackie Chiles wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 3:40 pmWhy thank you, Mr Seinfeld! Though I agree on Frank Costanza, I don't think the courts would side with you over Estelle - unless you mean to just prod her. In my experience, someone bad will often try to get suspicion in there, on the record. Estelle strikes me as a civilian who is disoriented, perplexed, and bewildered.

The worst thing about a crappy Day 1 isn't that it's hard to decide who to vote for. It's that there's close to nothing to analyze about it beyond basically randomized voting. Moving forward we're an entire day phase behind the mafia now, and not just because a civilian was lynched.
Let's do better, or we're not winning this game. It's not good enough.
You are up to no good.
Day 1 was garbage, and civilians usually lose when they don't try. If it doesn't change the game is already over. It's annoying enough that I've had to break role play numerous times now as the namesake character just to make the thread move.
Talk to me about Puddy immediately. I don't care about your soup ban.

Re: [DAY 1] Seinfeld Mafia
Do you know what this is all about? Do you know why we're here?
To be playing mafia, this is playing. And playing is one of the single most enjoyable experiences of life.
You know how many people talk about "we should go play mafia"? This is what they're talking about.
This whole thing, we're all playing mafia now, no one is doing something else. Not one person here is doing something else, we're all playing mafia.
There are people trying to spend time with us, they don't know where we are.
"Did you rea --"
"I can't find 'em"
"Where'd they go?"
"They didn't tell me what they were doing."
"They must be playing mafia."
You wanna play mafia, you get ready, you sign up to play, you check your role card, get all ready...
You open the thread, you read the posts, you see the jokes, accusations, and assertions.
And you're standing around, whaddya do, you go "we gotta be doing something else."
Once you're playing mafia you wanna be doing something else.
You wanna go to sleep, you wanna get up, you wanna play mafia again tomorrow right?
Wherever you are in life, it's my feeling, you've gotta play.
