Yeah ok.

I disagree that heathens are killing the annoying people, aside from Martha. Paul was probably killed because he talks a whole bunch. He basically ran day one. Though I guess you could classify posting a lot as annoying, but at that point why would you even play these forums games if you hate it when people post? It revolves around posting. I'm going to look into the Bathsheba hint that Balaam brought up. Might not be around as much because it's the weekend, and I need to get my drink on. Though I wont post out of character while drunk, like a certain person did lol

Didn't forget to vote. I specifically chose not to. I don't vote for the sake of voting, and I never have. If I have no confident reads on the other players, I occasionally dont vote.

Breaking fourth wall here, now that I know who you actually are, I'll apologize to you properly after the game is over. I still would have pressed you like this even if I knew, but I may have been nicer about it. I get caught up in the moment sometimes. For the record I also will not reveal your identity to the rest of the players under any circumstance. That would be bad sportsmanship.

I signed up just to piss people like you off. You have a whopping 18 post and you didn't even notice I didn't vote day one and I didn't even come in and explain why I wasn't there. I have been reading along and playing MY game sorry if you don't like how I play.
18 posts huh? Man that's low. At least 18 is higher than 3. Actually it's 19 now but that's besides the point.

Whenever your heathen friends tell you what your gameplay is like, make sure you come and share with everybody ok? I'm curious what "Sit around, dont say anything, and vote out of nowhere" style is actually capable of. I hear it's pretty effective.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

Anyone else notice Belshazzar appears to just be following what everybody else does? In Preface he voted for Law, which was tied as the most popular section with Apocalypse. Day 1 he voted for Samson, who was lynched due to majority vote. Today, he is voting for Cain, who is currently leading the poll.

Probably doesnt mean anything, but it's something I just noticed looking at the polls thread. More importantly, why has he also gone quiet? Another active player that just completely disappeared on the second day. All these "Now you see me, now you dont" players are starting to irk me. Unless there is a secret role that can silence multiple people at once, there are far too many people faking being silenced. I can't think of why so many people would be unable to post, but still find the time to place a vote. Even more confusing is why so many people would attempt that.

I know none of this is really that productive but I'm just thinking out loud to see if somebody else latches onto something that I overlooked.

Oh new posts while im typing! I was actually surprised at the whole Samson thing. When I casted my Samson vote it was who I genuinely thought was dirtiest. I go into my last break of the day at work and suddenly 6 people followed me. I didn't expect to many people to vote him out of nowhere like that. And interesting thing to note about the Samson votes though is the voting order.

Mordecai (11), Mary Magdalene (12), Isaac (16), Jacob (17), Jonathan (20), Belshazzar (23), Samuel (24)

Mary voted right after me. Jacob right after Isaac. Samuel right after Belshazzar. The only outlier is Jonathan. Personally I'm going to look into Mary, Jacob, and Samuel. The three who followed.

Can't wait to get home soon. I absolutely hate the traffic around here.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

Paul votes but isn't posting? Why? The heathens have a silencer, but it says that those who are silenced cannot post OR vote.

I don't have anybody I am really ok with voting for. This day had a lot of bickering back and forth, but nothing that really telegraphs heathen to me. Job has my suspicion but I wouldn't be ok with him dying yet. Mary seems odd as well as Cain. I don't want to commit to one because of a small suspicion, and be part of a mislynch again. That bugs me beyond belief.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

I very much dislike being ignored. I asked you a question Job. I expect an answer.

If uzziah isn't setting up Meta for a future game, why would he be so obviously bad? What do you think the probability of him being a horseman with a death activated ability is? Your initial non response to my question makes me wonder if you know that its true, and that you're trying to push his lynch for specifically that reason. Which would explain why you ignored that part of my post to avoid the issue.

I apologize if you answered me earlier and I missed it.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

Job wrote:Consider in addition to what I've already pointed out, how many people are subtly defending Uzziah comment by calling suspicion of him dumb or lazy. This makes me wary tbqh. I disagree that it is easy. If you want an example take a look at how difficult it is to convince the players in this very game.

People make valid points when they say 'but why would you do that if you're bad?' to which I respond, stop using that as the sum of the case. Yes it is the basis point for why I am suspicious of him, but he has done scummiest things since then, like refusing to be helpful and responding snarkily, voting early, etc.

But if you're still hung up on the rooting statement, I'll say again. The reason you would say 'I am bad' when good is so that you get lynched and everyone discovers OMG he did it as town. It only takes a few times of that happening before eventually you're dealt a scum role and now you are free to say things that are bat sit crazy without suspicion. My point being, no one knows for certain who Uzziah is, so there is no point in setting up for a future game. He's doing it for the wifom.
I will give you the first underlined section. He really hasnt done anything other than say he found two heathens with no real basis and just fluff posting in general. "Rooting for baddies" aside, that doesnt look very town.

I agree with the second underlined section as well. My experience with this kind of trolling has just made me wary of voting for that type of player without questioning it extensively. Which brings me to another point. As you just said, Job, Uzziah wouldn't be doing this for future game setup. So then why would he be so obviously bad? Does he want us to lynch him? We don't know what the Horsemen's abilities are, and one of them could very well be a bomb of sorts. Or perhaps some kind of effect detrimental to the town occurs upon his death? What's your take on that?

Looking back at my post, I want to clarify that I'm not saying we shouldnt lynch Uzziah. I'm just saying we shouldnt be so complacent in our reasonings is all.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

After I posted yesterday I did some errands, ate dinner, and then fell asleep on my couch. So I didn't get to post my opinions until after I got out of work today. I could have done that from my phone but it's old and the processor isnt that great anymore so it's a pain to do so.

Anyway I didn't find anything in Martha's posts where she points to people other than Paul and Absalom a bit. Unless I missed it somehow. So unfortunately this didnt give me anything new and this kill still only points to Paul and Absalom, which has me doing mental gymnastics. On one hand, this is an extremely obvious frame. On the other hand, that would be a perfect time for either Paul or Absalom to make the Martha kill and hide behind the reasoning of "Why would I do something so obvious?". So it's either a frame, or one of those two players has some pretty big brass balls to make that play. Still determining whether or not one of them would do that, but Absalom doesnt seem like the type who has the guts to go through with it. Paul is under my microscope at the moment.

In regards to the Uzziah situation, I feel like voting him right now would be very lazy town play. I've been playing games at other sites lately and you'd be surprised how many people play as the troll, openly supporting baddies, going so far as begging the thread to lynch them, only for that person to be revealed as roleless town. I'm not discrediting that Uzziah could be hiding behind this tactic as a heathen, that opinion is definitely viable, but I feel like voting for Uzziah just because "He said he's rooting for the heathens! Kill him!" is a cop out for actually doing anything or needing to think critically for yourself. If he flips town, everyone who voted for him gets to default to the answer of "But he said he supports the bad guys.......", which gives the heathens an easy way to hide behind a mislynch if Uzziah isn't actually bad. It's the easy answer, and easy doesnt win games.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER II]

This is a really weird kill. While I agree with Job that this points to Absalom to a certain degree, I'm going to go back through Martha's posts and see if she ever accused somebody directly. This could be a classic "Kill this person because they're close to the truth!". To be honest I didn't pay attention to her posts that much originally because I got tired of reading "Hunny" and "Dearie" with every post.

On that same note, I will also go back through the posts of Absalom while I'm at it just to be safe.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER I]

Just noticed day phase ends like right after I get out of work, so I have to vote now or miss it.

Most likely voting Samson. Not because he followed Paul specifically, but because he has repeatedly dodged a question that has been brought up every, if not every other page. It should be easy to answer, but he refuses to do so and that pings heathen to me. Actually its not that he hasn't answered, its that he seems to be actively ignoring the question.

I don't really have any other reads besides that. I've always been terrible at day one

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER I]

Been getting caught up, it's a busy Sunday here. I'm taking everything Paul says with an entire bag of Salt unless he pulls up a Heathen. Mainly because he spent about 24 hours going "Samuel is scum guys, scummy scummy scum, you're so scum Samuel!" going so far as to even place an unchangeable vote on him, and then he backpedals and says "No lol guys I dont think Samuel is actually scum. I'm just kidding. Samuel best bros right?". It seems like he is either doing whatever he wants just for the hell of it, or he isnt actually confident in anything he is saying and is struggling to grasp at straws.

The only productive thing that came of Paul running off at the mouth this whole time is that Samson followed his vote, and never explained it. While I felt like Paul had reasons that werent worht lynching somebody over, he at least had a reason. Samson on the otherhand just did it and has dodged the question since, and that really ticks me.

Re: Biblical Mafia [CHAPTER I]

I'm in a bit of middle ground on this. Samuel's "I'll call some bears on you" (Elisha reference) was very odd. But not enough for me to call him guaranteed scum yet like Paul has.

On that note, Pauls willingness to do that right out of the gate rubs me the wrong way as well. A lot of jumping the gun going on here. That method of pressuring him with a vote is pointless at the moment, seeing as it's the only vote on Samuel for the time being. One vote does nothing in a game this size unless there is a tie, and I question that technique being employed at the very beginning of day one.

The only thing I see this being useful for is determining who all of the newer players are. Especially since we have new players coming in from the Game of Champions stuff.

For the moment I shall ignore the question, and move on. Though I do wonder what the benefits are to knowing who is new here. It seems like most of the newer people arent coming in with no mafia experience so it isnt likely you would be able to catch a rookie slipping with that information.
