Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 4)

Ambray's non-defense of Ambray. What does that even mean?

Man, you guys are so frustrating. You give me nothing to defend myself against and just vote. Exactly the same happened in LOTR mafia to get me lynched.

Going to sleep. Voting Sig. I'm too tired to try and logically put together posts, but I implore you guys to read his ISO. I think there's some very odd stuff in there.

Still pinged by the location stuff from the first poll, LOTS of fishing and pointing fingers in people's directions without actually laying down any names for suspicion and I think that large post re Illy was a very good misdirect.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 4)

Damn this thread is quiet.

So I've done a quick read of sig and I am super pinged by the fella. Dude - have you ever named a single suspect?

I was reading thinking bad bad bad, then suddenly you made this huge post about Illy and I was like oh ok - that completely writes you off as Illy's teammate. But you didn't actually condemn her at all, infact, you just said you "didn't get much out of it" and it made you "shaky abouy LoRab and Kyle".

If you are around - for the first time this game - can you state who you are actually suspicious of?

I am absolutely shattered so I'm going to sleep soon. Will do a post before I go if you don't appear, because I think my vote will be heading your way.

Might as well get my novaselinenever vote out of the way.
I think Ambray is the most likely to be Illyria's teammate. I am phone based for a few days so I won't be able to really case make but if you iso her I think it's pretty obvious.
I would love to know where 'it's pretty obvious' - you did this to me in the other game... :suspish:

In regards to Nova - half of my suspicion was about him sounding scripted and considering Illy wasn't around yesterday it kind've puts him in the clear in terms of receiving coaching - if we are to assume there is only 1 mafia left.
However, his vote on Illy before switching it still super strange and what makes me doubt my doubt. Though they addressed this, I would like to hear one more time from them their point of view about what happened.

In an ideal situation, I want to go back and read:
sig - because just off the top of my head nothing sticks out from this game from them and I just have a coasting vibe
lap - to further explore what SVS has raised about interaction with Illy
Mac - because why the hell not.

However, I'm going to play the card of "I've just got home from a whooper of a shift and I need to deactivate my brain for a solid 30mins". I will try and have a look in a bit.

I'm not gonna vote because I feel pressure by you thanks.

As you accuse me of saving Illy, I could accuse you of trying to save Nova.

I think both have very valid cases against them. The difference being Nova has been able to have their say. I'm a fair person.

Besides, Tranq's plan earlier of having votes on both is a good one. LA can always move her vote and Illy has a fair few against her already. Infact, due to this logic, I'm going to vote nova now. If I wern't also in Europe, I would wait to vote later. I don't mind at all if Illy does end up getting lynched at this point.

Scripted how? They read like some of the more sincere posts in the game to me.
To be so quiet all game and suddenly come out with, apparently what are now considered, long posts (This I have been told from another game) and to go after how Tranq votes when quite clearly you only have to look right and see he's from Belgium and that explains quite a bit.

Sounds like panicked, scripted writing to me. And one heck of a no u.

I've stayed longer than intended hoping for some people to appear - I don't know whether I want to vote for speed. I think SVS has raised some valid points, but equally I'm aware that the discussion was a lot of back and forth and tunnell-y between them in their interactions so perhaps his responses feel unsettled because of that.

I'm going to give in 10more mins, but my vote may end up of Speed for the sake of not splitting it further and concerns raised.

why would explaining a jayterm to Juliets that she didn't know the meaning of make us teammates?
It's moreso the lack of entertaining me and then answering her instead? You're either teammates or you hate me. Knowing that you love me, it's gotta be the former.
For D1 that's a shit tonne of speculation about who could be teammates and I haven't even quoted it all.

I know you're busy MacDougall from what's been said in the other game, but you've not really furthered any of this in D2. Only discussed the night results and what this could mean in relation to the roles.

No. I left in July, and had not been back since, until about a week and a half ago. Someone told me on Facebook that I had gotten a Socky, and I came in to say "Thanks". I started talking to a soooper persuasive friend, it was a BR/LC game, Tranq and rabbit were playing ... so yeah, lol.

My last post was mid July. I might have lurked around a few days past that in the mod forums, but if I did it wasn't very long after that.

Reason I asked was I remembered your exchange with Speed re the momma bear comment, however now that I've gone back and reread it I think it's applicable to the situation and not actually anything worth of note.

However, this back and forth between you and Speed on this page has give my the willies. That may just be due to the fact it is predominately only you 2 talking so there's gonna be back and forth pressure there.

I voted for you because you took the time to post in here twice and neither of them were very on topic or helpful.

This is a tough poll for me, as Glory is my all time gave Canon Buffy Big Bad. However, as she has to win it all I do not think I want to give her any power if that is what we are doing. My only pause for voting The Mayor is just the post before, it sounded so much like The Master crawling out of that crypt (though that is not what happens in the show he gets stuck in a dimension and cant get into Sunnydale without killing Buffy by drinking her.)

And now i am worried that if we vote for him Buffy is gonna get hurt. Good grief. I forgot how crazy making this can be.

Sigh. I am gonna think some more and go back to work.
While the Master does not have a role, Illy raises an excellent point.

I know one of my first questions to people who missed the vote is who would've they gone for. Of course it's going to be a skewed answer in retrospect, but it can sometimes be telling in itself how they answer.

If the assumption is that there was one poll choice per faction, I could see a mafia team being told this, and suddenly an idea like this becomes a lot less helpful and much more calculated.

What keeps it from being a full blown ping is the word locations. If the day post indeed had the characters go to a location thorn this post would have indicated true foreknowledge, but they literally watched Waynes World lol.

Tbh, I glossed over this on first read because I didn't actually understand what he meant by picking the worst 'locations' and getting them 'out of the way' :confused2:

If anything pings me about Sigi its not the Spike thing but this instead.

Am I being dense?

Spike doesn't have spiky hair. You may be thinking of Angel. His hair goes straight up and he's bloody stupid.
While I admit that as I've gotten older Spike appeals to me more than Angel, but hot DAMN boy. How dare you say this. :pout:

I don't think Sig's posts are suspect at all. Think you'd have to be pretty brazen to be that obvious.....which I guess happens, but I don't feel it's the case here. I like his responses.

You're the 13th voter :p
Hahaha, apparently so!
But I mean time-wise and not leaving it to the end of the phase.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Night 0)

I always like to vote early in these kind've polls because there isn't really any information to go on and I don't want to be influenced.

Voting Wayne's world, because any film that starts with Bohemian Rhapsody is a winner in my book.
