I just finished enjoying my daily one cup of (hot) coffee. I'm obsessed with good coffee - I want to find the best. I need to get back to drinking tea in the afternoon.

Oh I actually don't grow cukes - I buy them super cheaply at this Farmer's Market on 4th St (Next to Evos). I over-bought last weekend because I thought I was going to make pickles but then did not make pickles.

Have you tried Kahwa coffee? I like it a lot but I think my favorite local coffee is Brew-D-Licious. They make a mean decaf and it's made without the formaldehyde that a lot of decaf is processed with (it's water processed instead). The caffeinated drinks are really good too; you should try it the next time you are in downtown St Pete. I also LOVE the coffee drinks at Felicitous over in Tampa. I also adore that they serve stuff in mason jars! I usually get the red velvet frappe.

I did something cool with them today because we have them coming out of our ears. I chopped them up with some white onion and tomato and then mixed with some Mojo marinade and EVOO. Then I lined a bowl with white rice (ugh) then spinach on top of that and then plopped beans and this succulent gravy they made on top of the spinach, which wilted. Then I placed this "salsa" on top of everything and gave it to my husband.

I made shotglasses out of cukes once, so cute!

One of my favorite salads is Traffic Lights salad. In a parfait glass, cut up a a bunch of cucumbers or avocados. Then layer on top of that roasted corn or baby corn. Then on top layer a bunch of tomatoes (or red peppers if you don't like tomatoes). Sprinkle a vinaigrette (a rice wine vinaigrette is nice!) on top and enjoy stopping traffic with delicious taste.

I usually have a bit of chia diluted into some tea every day to help with that same thing.

I love stuff like that! I like kale, blueberries, lemon juice, cayenne, ginger and watermelon. Good for removing bloat. I usually have it after we have bean burritos on Thursdays at Tijuana Flats.

I would totally eat that! I usually can't stop at just one slice of beet though. I found a fig-infused balsamic glaze at Mazzaro's Italian Market and am obsessed with that.

I've also been rather obsessed with YA dystopia lately, but I think I am finally weening that kick.

My candle warmer. I have a ton of spent candles, where the wick is no longer accessible. I've been getting more mileage out of them with my candle warmer.

I binge-watched the entire Up Series this weekend. The Michael apted docs that revisit kids every 7 years, not the Pixar film. The newest is 56 Up.

I'm really into B-12 shots right now. They make me feel less murdery (angry grizzly) and more like my default state (cuddly bear cub).

I'm really into that new show Siberia. It's not my typical fare, but we binge-watched 3 episodes last night.

Kinda getting into this new novel The Fifth Wave. Alien invasion fluff.

Pineapple is so great! I will eat it until I have those bumps on my tongue. I need to get of Montreal's latest. Today I got the latest from: M83, David Byrne, Shout Out Louds, Stars, and Rogue Wave; I'm surprised I didn't get them too. I'm weird about the fan - I like to have it on, but I have to be under layers of blankets, even in the summer. I think the weight is what I like more than the heat.
