To be honest I have been considering dropping out for a few days now as I really don't have time to play. Due to the hours I'm working at the minute I get about an hour or two at most when I come in to read and post. Given that I've now drawn a bit of heat I don't know if it's fair to drop out and expect someone else to deal with it so maybe it would be best if I did get lynched. That's why I've maybe seemed like I don't care what happens. If I do survive I'll have the weekend to try and catch up but next week is going to be even worse on me for time so who knows...

Well at the moment I am most interested in Bullzeye, not so much for his vote for Nova because voting a no show on Day 1 has been accepted practice in the past, but more because he posted on Day 1 but his posts were almost all devoid of content. That doesn't feel like civ Bullz to me - he's an outstanding player.

I suck as a civ and take a long time to feel motivated, hence why I tend not to have much to say. I appreciate the compliments but I don't think your assessment of my play is correct tbh.

I don't think my vote warrants suspicion. It was a throwaway vote because I was too busy to catch up and I don't like to miss votes. It's not out of character for me to vote like that regardless of alignment. I think people are overreacting to something quite small and insignificant.

Bullz, beyond your vote I found your posts in the Day phase to be jokey and talk more about Potter lore and video games than actual content while most of the rest of us were trying to assess people and come to some conclusions. As you look back over those posts do you see what I mean? If so could you speak to that issue?

I don't feel that Day 1 has to be so serious, considering nine times out of ten nothing of any significance actually happens. I often vote for no-shows or low posters in the first lynch for that reason, it's not like this is a new thing I've never done before. It's been blown massively out of proportion for reasons I don't understand.

There are two different reasons I can think of. One is worse than the other. I wanted to see your immediate response, and which reason it fit.
Instead I got caginess, which is not wonderful.

The answer is I don't ever like to miss votes if I can help it. I just think it's obvious why someone wouldn't want to miss the vote and in no way indicative of anything.

Ah, okay. That was the worse one. Could just be a thing you did though.

Somehow I get the feeling I could've said anything at all and it would've been 'the worse one'...

Still betrayed all his closest friends for the Dark Lord's cause and played a crucial role in restoring Voldy to full power. Seems pretty Dark to me. The man was a coward, motivated only by fear and self-preservation. I always saw him as being the opposite end of the scale from Snape.

This strikes me as odd because the Hallows themselves aren't evil. They're associated with Death, and trying to cheat Death in various ways. Good people don't want to die either. The Resurrection Stone was also just supposed to bring back people's loved ones, nothing remotely bad about that. We have seven books worth of the Invisibility Cloak being used for good, and the Elder Wand just obeys power. Those two could be used for evil or for good, depending on who had them. Voldemort wanted them as weapons because he was evil, not because they were.

How is it? I loved most of Revolver but I thought Redemption was basically junk. Had that GTA disease wherein the story was told during long uneventful trips from place to place, combat was all about aim lock autowins, gathering flowers was stupid, teleporting mountain lions were stupid and the ending was like

But I’m open to RDR3 being good.

Potential GOTY in my opinion. It's a prequel to the last Redemption game, not sure if Revolver is relevant as I never played that one. A lot of Redemption 1 characters show up including John and his family. Gameplay wise quite similar but vastly improved in every way. I've got probably 25-30 hours total playtime by now and have only just reached the beginning of Chapter Three, apparently there's six in total from what I've heard. Not encountered a single mountain lion and aim lock isn't really a thing at all. My only problems with it are minor, overall I've really enjoyed it. Story is great but there's enough open world to get lost for hours just doing random stuff, there are side missions and secrets all over the place. The map is huge, it includes all of the previous Redemption's map but I've barely even been on that side and have still explored a huge chunk of the world.

Spent this whole weekend playing Red Dead, didn't have time for mafia. One has to prioritise in these situations! Catching up now

Ah Hufflepuff, the miscellaneous house. Probably about right for me. Prisoner of Azkaban was my favourite book but least favourite film. I guess I'll vote for that one.
