Unfortunately today happens to be incredibly busy for me schedule-wise and I don't have much time to post. Sad to see I'm probably getting lynched without much chance to defend myself. I'm really just being sincere here, I know I don't look good but I'm innocent.

Dana, I thought we had more or less figured out that Scotty was most likely one of the indies. There is a slim possibility he was bad but I'd pretty much conceded that I was most likely wrong about him.

I'm voting for Typhoony I guess, partly out of self-preservation and partly because I didn't think he looked like his civ game early on.

lol I am definitely not organized. As usual I have no idea what's going on or who to suspect. My style may have felt different during the Scotty debacle because I ended up having some conviction about that, and of course I was wrong. Now I don't have any opinions

I have to vote really fast wtf i was not ready for a 24 hour day I have no idea what's going on but regardless of scotty's alignment I found the LC wagon yesterday sketchy af so I'll vote for daisy.

Don't have much to go on for either of them. They're both typically fairly low posters, so I'd say neither of them have seemed particularly out of the ordinary. They're the kind of players that could easily be any alignment and I wouldn't be able to tell.

Nutella, you coming out with as strong assertions as you have been making since Scotty called you out looks an awful lot like your baddie game to me. I mean it's pretty early in the game for me to see such a strong stance out of you if you are civ. :shrugs:

You're right that I'm usually pretty wishy-washy -- but as I said, my opinion changed even while writing a post. I was flip-flopping in the moment, weighing each side. But what looks to me like a baddie slip to me is somewhat of a special case -- there is enough that points to a pretty solid reason for suspecting Scotty, so I'm sticking with it for now.

Since votes are not changeable, I'm going to hold onto it for a while longer, but it will almost certainly go to Scotty.

Not really sure what you mean by any of this. My opinions tend to evolve and change, often even within the course of typing my thoughts out in a post -- when I started writing my longish post about Scotty I was feeling pretty ambivalent about it, but by the end I had sorted out some reasons why I felt it was more likely he did slip.

I think you are reading a lot into the total of two posts I made on the topic. Scotty brought up my name after I had made just the one post asserting that I thought it was possible he had slipped. I then sorted out my thoughts on the matter in my next post, and ended up sticking with the belief that it was a slip, even though Scotty had just called me out for "jumping on it" (in reality I had stated a fairly objective possibility based on precedent of secret forum usage). I think HE's the one jumping on ME for drawing attention to the likelihood that he slipped.

I'm somewhat torn on this tbh. When I first saw Scotty's post my kneejerk reaction was that it was a joke referring to the Lost game, which would make total sense, and the "oops" just drawing attention to the joke -- but still it's a very dangerous joke to make that ambiguously. And if he and SVS really were baddies together, I'd find it just as likely that he'd make that "joke" in their btsc. And I'm really not sure how I feel about SVS's reaction.

As Scotty is suggesting, either honestly or backpedalingly, he might have intentionally posted an ambiguously slip-like joke to see who jumped on it opportunistically, but I think Zebra's reaction is totally reasonable as an interpretation/assumption that it was a slip.

At this moment I think it was an actual slip. If I wanted to make a joke like that I would make it totally clear. I think Scotty straight up posted in the wrong thread and then backpedaled the hell out of there by turning it around on people who "jumped on it." Notice that he said "I'm just enjoying watching who is jumping on this", rather than claiming he explicitly did it to see who would jump on it. He's trying to appear chill about it and enjoying the opportunity to turn suspicion away from him.

Some games on here have used secret threads for baddie BTSC -- I was in one in Recruitment IV. So yeah it's totally possible Scotty legit slipped. Embarrassing.
