Both DFaraday and Nijuu seem to have had enough money to survive landing on a red hotel, provided neither of them have bid and won for anything substantial.
DisgruntledPorcupine, however, landed on Luxury Tax, so he didn't make any money by passing GO. At a base $1000, paying $1050 should have killed him. Granted, he probably made some cash from people landing on his property, but if he made any bids that he won, then it becomes suspicious. We'll have to look into that.

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Night 6]
So three people landed on red and paid over $1000 out of their own pockets. Supposedly.
The reds made at least $3200 that turn.
None of the people who landed on a red property died. Which of them didn't die because they are red?

But zeek, I quote:MovingPictures07 wrote:The reason I asked is because I don't remember you issuing an opinion on me, that's all. It seems posting less was a major reason for your zeek suspicion so that's why I thought of it. Also, I don't know zeek is civvie, so you could be right about him for all I know, but I've had good feelings about him all game, and when he has posted he has seemed genuine to me. And LC may denounce my reasons, but I talked with him BTS A LOT last game, and I feel I've gotten to know his playstyle pretty decently (but not intimately, I'll admit, since I've still only played two games with him), and he mentioned work ramping up towards the end of the DW game too.
He changed the way he play, but MP did not even acknowledge it. Maybe the claim he can recognize the zeek playtone could have been made to give a ground for mildly defending zeek... I think it not too believable.zeek wrote:Regarding my play change. Part of it is lack of time and part of it is the buzz of my first game out of retirement has worn off...
Hilarity. I'd love to hear more about it when you get a chance.Turnip Head wrote:Did some quick research...
Looking at specific comments LC has made, plus his bidding patterns, and my own nightly searches, I can systematically eliminate LC from being a member of every color group except light blue or red. But to do so I would have to out my own color alignment, which is against the rules.
If I'm lynched, I'll lay out that evidence in my final moments of life. But I think we need to lynch LC today.
Good point, Lorab!LoRab wrote:Nope. I figured one of the 2 of you got it and was watching to see what happened.Turnip Head wrote:Lorab must have won the original bidding for Electric Company. It's odd, then, that she didn't step in and say something when Boogs and I were calling each other liars over this matter... I'm worried she's a railroad who was relishing the mayhem.
Which leads me to believe you're lying.
Especially since you accuse me of specifically being railroad--and not WW. Is that because you are WW and therefore know I'm not? But still want to make the accusation to get attention off yourself?
I think you just earned my vote.
I am a victim of Llama, nothing more. I didn't want any of it.S~V~S wrote:In seriousness, though, unless you are playing a lulz game and rubbing our faces in it, I don't see how you are doing LC any favors through this faux association act, unlless it is sarcasm (or faux sarcasm)

I don't really get the notion that voting a low-talker will be happening today, although I do think it likely that WW could be one of them.
Your TH thing, worth looking at. It would not faze me if he were a baddie, in part due to the theory that I put forth about him on Day One.
Maybe the RR can NK a few of the lower-participating people, to the benefit of all.

I can tell a bit of looking at me might be happening, and I want to reaffirm: I am not one of the red group. I am not a baddie of any type. I have found one teammate. Not Llama.
The red group and the baddie folk are the threat here. I am not who you need to be lynching if the Civvie team will have a chance. We need to plug the flow of money that the red group have been enjoying and we need to end NK folk.
Don't lynch me only for winning a prize. That didn't change, don't play that way, I implore you.

LOL, "even more" desperate. Because I was looking so desperate before. Is this part of your case now? Or are you shoehorning it in as a convenience?MovingPictures07 wrote:LC, now you look even more desperate, trying to get any attention off of you whatsoever. I do not KNOW zeek is a civvie. I've said I think TH is a civvie just as often if not more than zeek, does that mean TH is my partner too?
This is not a civvie LC.
These people have played with you enough, MP, to see that you're the one "not acting like your Civvie self". Now you're falling back on that good ol' chestnut "zeek's playstyle in X previous game". Good thing you let us know that you think TH is Civvie too, so that you defending zeek doesn't seem weird.

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 6]
Let's lynch MovingPictues07, because zeek is clearly his partner. And - get this - I'm not one of the reds, so that makes it more likely that MP and zeek ARE the reds.
If you're really not interested in lynching baddies anymore, then you need to go after the reds, because they are going to have literally thousands and thousands of dollars very soon. They will be unstoppable because they will buy every property up for grabs, every prize, and more than likely are already making private offers of cash for loose properties.
I don't know what they're trying to pull with the house sale thing, but maybe it's something like this: sell the houses every day after the night post, and use that money to win any stuff they want, and then buy whatever houses they can reasonably afford before the next night is up.
So first of all, don't buy the houses. Not that anyone would, I can't see a situation where someone would buy those houses instead of going to the bank.
@boo: can players sell houses back to the bank? If so, what does the bank pay for used houses?
Also, when someone upgrades from 4 houses to a hotel, do the houses go back on the market?

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 6]
The reds are selling their houses? Why? Are they in financial trouble? How? This makes no sense. No one on the first half of the board is going to buy houses at that rate when their own houses cost $50 and $100 respectively. Also, they just made $1500 in the last two movements!! They sure as hell don't need money. Who is going to buy a single house from them? I don't see it, unless the greens or blues in expensive-town have come together and see this random opportunity for cheap housing.boo wrote:9 houses are also up for auction. They start at $150 each. The auction for them ends at the same time the auction for the powers does (10 minutes before the end of the lynch). Unlike buying them normally, you do not have to buy and use these ones right away.

Epig may well be a Railroad. I'd hardly say he is "hoping and praying" that he gets cred for lynching you, since he is the one who says cred doesn't exist. I certainly haven't given out any Civvie cred to anyone who has helped to get the baddies we've already lynched.
If Epig is a Railroad who is trying his hardest to kill a Utility, then I see no reason to do anything but let him.

Problem is, we are coming around Go and have to touch that in the next 1-3 nights. We have to get the baddies basically perfect now lol.

Quiet in here today.
I might as well hit up Hedgeowl with a vote. I think there was some good momentum going with some other cases, but you can't ignore the glaring fact that the only possible way that Hedgeowl could have survived is that the Railroads just hit one of their own. Assuming she's not a Utility, which I don't think she is. If she's just appealing to some secret that only she knows as the reason she survived, without being able to quote any rules or ask any host questions to clarify, then she's gotta be bad.

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 4]
How is that an implication that I searched you on Night 1?
Blooper said no one can be thought of as trustworthy that early in the game, and so I brought up the two people who expressed trust in you as a point of interest. Maybe you can explain from your point of view how that translates into "I searched Epig night 1", but I don't get your angle here.
You responded by saying even Railroads can't vouch for each other due to lack of BTSC, but again, how is that "calling me out for implying I searched you"?
What I read in those posts and what you are saying happened in them are not even remotely the same thing.

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 4]
Just build some houses of your own, then you can be part of the cool club. Come on, guys, search MM, he's feeling left out!Metalmarsh89 wrote:Sooo, since we pretty much agreed to search, and groups have formed and houses are cropping up, we should just let them have our money?S~V~S wrote:EBWoP~ and you are not the only person, or even the first, to warn of this danger. If you have to ask this, then you never truly understood why I suspected you and TH early on. Or you are being deliberately obtuse about it.Metalmarsh89 wrote:^^^This one in particular. For someone who once suspected Epi and now trusts him, why does he continue to push the coin on someone who did trust Epi?Long Con wrote:my eye is definitely back on TH, and I haven't forgotten my early theory about him trusting Epig.

Also, I'm not on Epig's team. Those aren't my houses, the reds ain't my colour group.
