As long as we're laying cards down, I'll tell you right now BR is cool.timmer wrote:I haven't been the most subtle player in this game, but right now, I will lay down some cards. FZ is my boy girl. Sophie's alright, too. Same with Long Con, I think. BR is an enigma to me, but I've got no reason to doubt her right now. It comes down to either Devin, MM or Bass, for me. One of them, at a minimum, is a New Rogue, and in particular, one of them cannot be NK'd, so we NEED to lynch them as Wally won't be able to touch them. Bass, I think, has been wrong about some things, but that doesn't make him a NR. Devin subbed in, and has bounced around a bit, but I can't place how I feel, yet. MM has been very active, and also has touched on many things.
I have a good list of people I trust or semi-trust. But the list of lynch targets, of possible New Rogues, is too big, still. I need to work some things out.

Detective Singh stepped back and took a look at the rap sheets and wanted posters that littered his desk. He was rifling through them frantically just moments ago.
"Something just doesn't gel with our latest suspect's alibi...", he thought to himself. If The Trickster only gets out to see his psychiatrist a couple of times a week, how is he pulling his signature pranks off all week long?
Singh zeroed in on another document sitting on his desk. An unopened envelope was wedged between two posters. He tore the envelope open and took a look at the contents. Inside was a letter from Iron Heights penitentiary, giving The Trickster nightly time off on good behavior.
The kid was telling the truth. Singh had made a huge, tiny mistake...
S~V~S has been lynched. She was The Trickster, and I am ticked.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 10)
Are we allowed to talk about locations? Like could I say "there's some sweet stuff at the River Lock!", for example? (I've never actually been to the River Lock)
I've found two graves, and I looked back to see what exactly the PM said about them. There was no specific indication of who they were, but there was an item on each one that may have been indicative of their role. One I took, the other I was afraid to take because it was unknown unless I took it, and I didn't want to risk it.
Linki: Timmer seemed to know, as though he had spied on players during odd nights, that S~V~S used a power on an odd night - something the other Old Rogues couldn't do. Through investigation of this accusation, we found that S~V~S had indeed been using her power on odd nights, which she wasn't supposed to be able to do. So Timmer was totally right. How could Timmer have known that if he had not been spying on S~V~S on an odd night?
a) Timmer was using an item to emulate the Mirror Master's spy power, and used it on the right person to eventually expose them as a fraud (actually a role-not-reader)
b) Timmer is Zoom, and his power works weirdly. It's a kind of vague power anyway, so
c) Timmer is making stuff up and hit the jackpot in a crazy, roundabout way?
If we can just get the host to verify if Captain Cold gained a kill from Golden Glider's lynch... then we can move forward on this. Until then... well, it's nighttime. We can chill a little.
Oh! Captain Cold could have gained a kill from an item... or someone could have been emulating Cold? Or BF was Plunder, whose role doesn't reflect the fact that he tricks lynches like Mirror Master?
I don't know if that last one applies.

Timmer's point is valid, so we'll see what MR says for that one. The fact that no one is calling you out on it doesn't hold much weight, because you claimed only after it was perfectly clear that no one else was claiming Old Rogue, and Timmer and S~V~S both roleclaimed their roles as non Weather Wizard roles. So, it was pretty safe to claim WW. You probably could have said you were Heat Wave as well with little argument, but that comes with complications that are Roxy-related.

I'm on Team Timmer. He has some pretty solid anecdotal evidence for his claim... his claim led to the revelation of the whole S~V~S "every night" blunder. What has FZ done to prove herself? What does she have besides people's trust? Why do you trust FZ?
Any bets on whether there will be a nightkill tonight? Wally killed rabbit last night, so he most likely won't be killing tonight. Grodd's kill seems to have been eliminated with The Top's death. Plunder seems pretty dead to me.

Actually, the poll just ended.timmer wrote:In light of MR's recent posts, I feel like there is a very good chance that SVS is telling the truth, is an Old Rogue, specifically the trickster, had accidentally been sending in night actions every night instead of every even night, and the host didn't correct her. So from my perspective, the only other logical choice for the lynch would be FZ. But I cannot move my vote unless I've got enough people who would move with me to actually lynch FZ, as in my view, if SVS is telling the truth, FZ is a lying lyarson, but if I move my vote to FZ and others don't, then it would seem that an Old Rogue will definitely die this day.
Is there anyone willing to move their vote to FZ? If day isn't extended, we've got only a few hours.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 10)
Ok, I have to go to work now, I'll be back an hour or more before the lynch is up, and I'll finalize my vote then. Here's where I stand on the Old Rogue Liar front.
FZ: Claims Old Rogue, but I don't think she has anything to back it up. Except for people trusting her. Several people are taking it as truth that FZ is telling the truth, but I don't know why specifically.
Timmer & S~V~S: His Mirror Master claims are compelling, particularly his questions of S~V~S. It seems that she hasn't said that he's lying about her using a power on a night when an Old Rogue shouldn't be using a power, instead she says that she has been using it every night and MR just hasn't told her that it's not going through on the wrong nights.
But then how did Timmer track anything if it wasn't going through?
My vote is staying on S~V~S unless more comes out while I'm at work, because her story doesn't add up in that way.

I remembered this from MR earlier in the game. Murmur's role had been for even nights, I believe, and someone was silenced Night 1. MR caught it and fixed the role to fit. Seems strange that he would catch one and not catch S~V~S for the same thing.Mister Rearranger wrote:9 votes in with a half an hour to go?
Hmmmm. :/
As an aside, an incorrect PM slipped by my watch on Night 1. I was informed on Night 2. In response, I figured the best solution would be to correct Murmur's role accordingly. Please make note of the change.
Also, a letter has been chosen. More on that come nightfall.

Well, Llama was Barry Allen, according to his lynch post. But your post got me to thinking some craaaaazy thoughts. Maybe when the lightning struck and we got put into this alternate universe, Barry and Zoom switched roles! No, I dunno. Not really worth speculating about, especially since Llama is dead, but this alternate universe thing is like a splinter in my mind.Devin the Omniscient wrote:Here I am focusing on Timmer's association with Aces. I've come across two dead bodies in my travels, and there was nothing to indicate their role on either of them. I would say that DharmaHelper was probably Pied Piper then, and Timmer is not correct about his assumption.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Let's see if I can prove he is not dead.Long Con wrote:Llama's vouch makes her a Detective, and Pied Piper seems to be dead.
The last message we received from the Pied Piper was on Day 4, meaning the earliest he could have been killed was Night 3.
Dharmahelper was killed on Night 3, but timmer says he was an Indy Rogue based on his gravestone, so he probably isn't the one. He also voted for llama on Day 1.
Bullzeye was killed Night 4, though llama suspected him, so it's not him.
Spacedaisy was killed Night 6, but based on her Day 1 vote, I think she is not the one. llama won the lynch 8-7, and her vote was placed elsewhere.
rabbit was killed Night 9 by Wally, so he is surely not Wally's teammate.
All other deaths came before the Piper's last message or came via the lynch, so we know their roles.

Ok, so let me get this straight - MM is out of the running for Old Rogue, so he'd like us to believe he's either Wally West or an Indy Rogue. And I don't think he's Wally West, nor has he tried to hint that he is so. Also, I think he agrees on the most likely Wally West out there. So, MM as Indy, but FZ has stepped up to claim Old Rogue? I think that's the vibe I'm getting here.
And this is all supposing that Mirror Master is alive, something we have to take on faith since we just don't know.
Ok, S~V~S, I'll choose you out of the three Old Rogue contenders for my current vote, since you asked nicely. Final vote placement pending Timmer's response. Unless he's silenced again.

As interesting as this is getting, I have to get outside and mow the lawn. I'll be back in a bit.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 10)
I winked because "He wasn't Plunder... or was he?" fits with a wink. But since Plunder (presumably) only fools rolecheckers and not lynches, as has been discussed, that wasn't as likely as I had thought.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I am not the Mirror Master, and I never tried to imply it.Long Con wrote:MM, I'm sorry, but I don't believe that you weren't trying to imply that you are Mirror Master. 2 Old Rogues if Mirror Master is alive, 1 Old Rogue if he's dead.
And yes I was winking back. Maybe there was a reason, but if there was I have forgotten it. I don't understand why you winked in the first place.

Oh, snap, you're right! Forget my last post (end line), MM is wrong and you are right.FZ. wrote:But it says he can kill when an old rogue is night killed, not when lynched. I feel like an idiot, but I don't get what you're saying

I'm not sure of some of it. I am sure that there's three or four Old Rogues dead, and if Mirror Master were dead then we wouldn't know it.FZ. wrote:Are we sure about this? linki: Thanks for the list. Going to look at it
Linki: So you were just winking back at me, and didn't mean to imply anything by it. Why do you believe Timmer and S~V~S are Old Rogues?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Pretty sure he wasn't. We lynched him. Damn, we were hoping that Soneji was Plunder! Too bad he wasn't... or was he?
Sure he could be the Magic Mirror, but I think that's not the case.
And MM is right, Golden Glider's lynch triggered one of CC's kills, that makes sense.

Captain Boomerang – Most heroes and villains alike consider him to be a bit unpredictable. He can throw a boomerang every night. The boomerang has a fifty percent chance to cancel the target’s next lynch vote. If it doesn’t, then Captain Boomerang’s lynch vote will be cancelled instead.

It really felt like you were trying to claim Mirror Master recently. You even winked when you said it.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I have claimed nothing, Long Con.Long Con wrote:For the record, since you have tried to pin a bad voting record on me several times today FZ... If you guys have so many people cleared in your minds that it leaves only me, then you're doing something wrong. I am not a New Rogue. If Rabbit was a New Rogue, then I think that there's likely two left... maybe one, maybe three, but I'm going with two as the most likely. It's not Bass, it's not Sophie. I don't think it's Black Rock. It may be S~V~S, Timmer, MM, FZ, or Devin. It's not me.
As far as I can remember, S~V~S, Timmer, and Metalmarsh have all claimed Old Rogue. Captain Cold killed twice, so that means that two Old Rogues had died. Roxy was Captain Cold, and is dead. Golden Glider is dead. That means there is a MAXIMUM of two Old Rogues left alive. Someone is lying.
If Professor Zoom killed Llama, then that means that he is still alive out there. Which means that when we lynched Aces, he wasn't Professor Zoom, he was Mirror Master. Which would mean there is only ONE Old Rogue left alive, and more false role claimers.

That's what I found for TH suspects on Day 8... and he also echoes Timmer's suspicion of Devin after Timmer brought it up as well.Turnip Head wrote:What do you think of FZ, timmer? She's on my shortlist of Top suspects. We haven't heard from her in quite a while but no one's been looking at her.
