Your feelings betray you, Boogs, as they did when you vouched for Bea. I am 100% not a baddie. Killing me would be a waste of time.

Re: Day 12 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Two baddie teams would likely have to eliminate each other as well. If there were two baddies on one, two baddies on the other, and three Civs, then this is still anyone's game. Even if there were three baddies on one team, it could still work out. Maybe there's even two on one team and one on the other, and four Civs. Or three Civs and an Indy.

It doesn't "matter", any way you look at it, we have to lynch a baddie... maybe every single time from here on in. Fortunately, I think it's likely that we will lynch a baddie, because there's enough of them still around. Maybe Canucklehead. Or Lorab. Or a recruited Boogs. Those are my top three options right now. Bullz could be bad, Dana could be bad, Juliets has the stigma of being vouched for by Boogs, who vouches for baddies.

Tough times indeed...

I estimate Two or three baddies per team, each with one recruit possible. We've killed three baddies so far if I recall correctly, leaving maybe four or five baddies left alive right now. Three baddies left alive in my most optimistic scenario.

Re: Day 12 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Boogs, you're the one that has blatantly vouched for a baddie, plus all that stuff that Bullz won't let you off the hook for. What exactly is your case on me? A bad feeling? If you are still a Civ, which I very much doubt, trust me and vote for Canuck or Lorab. Just give me a chance before stringing me up, please! The Civs can still win this if we do it right, but if you lynch me then the math goes pretty scary.

I am not the one you need to lynch. I am not on a "team" with Bullzeye. Your judgment is unsound, Boogs, don't keep believing the wrong thing! If you're still a Civ, PROVE IT!

It was sincere. I assumed that when Boogs saw that his assumptions about the game were wrong, and that I'm one of the only players that has killed a baddie with his bare vote, he might be willing to listen to me. The fact that he just continued coming after me like none of that had happened is what's making me say "Okay, that's enough, something is seriously fishy here."

Re: Night 11 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I didn't have bad feelings about Bea, I just wanted to use my vote to avoid a Civ lynch - aka myself or Boogs. The "prove you wrong" to Boogs was basically 20% bravado and crossed fingers, 80% math. Bea was one of five or six people, and there are possibly three to five baddies in that group if the math on baddie teams is correct.

The fact that Boogs is still coming after me after his embarrassing fiasco with Bea is making me have second thoughts, though. I know what role I believe he has, but it's starting to look like he could actually be the other recruit. He vouches for Bea and Juliets, then Bea gets lynched and he doesn't bat an eye. Guess what - Boogs used his "Civvie cred" to vouch for a baddie. He'd be the best choice for a team to recruit, really, he's got lots of people trusting him, possibly for the same reason. I trusted him, but this latest series of events has me rethinking things.

Secondly, when going back to LC buddying up to Bullz and me, he was trying to buy favor to get us to vote the way he wanted and save us but now it seems since he knows neither of us are being on the chopping block that he wants Canuck gone as an easy way out. His allegiance to anyone has been changed with the turn of a head all game and if he isn't Baddie playing solo, then he's def an Indy that doesn't give a rats arse who dies and that is why he flips like a pancake so much.

HOWEVER since Bullzeye is still voting against me it confirms to me he is on LC's team. If he does flip Baddie when lynched I think our next move is Bullzeye Who also hasn't been giving much Civvie loving to us all. So it's LC then Bullz to me to win the game for CIVS.

Boogs, this is not the right move, I am one of the only Civs left in this game. Lynching me would be a waste of a valuable lynch. We have gotten a slight reprieve with two nights of no death, but it's not even what we needed. What we needed was for baddies to kill baddies.

The simple fact is that they've been buttering me up all game, with a dash of "I'm unsure but he feels Civvie". Don't believe the hype. They don't care if I'm Civvie, they just want to keep me off their case by buddying up to me.

I will totes cop to "buttering you up", if by "buttering you up" you mean I've mostly agreed with you and wanted to hear your input. I feel like we've been on the same page for much of this game, so yes, I've been thinking of you as a civ pretty consistently because I'm vain like that and I tend to assume that people who agree with me and don't antagonize me without cause are probably also civ.

I haven't been trying to "keep you off my case"....I've been assuming that we were both reading the other correctly as civ and were working together. Is that not the case? :(
Not much to address here, it's what I already knew she said her viewpoint was. As a baddie, it behooves her to continue with the same story.

I do not encourage anyone to vote with me, I don't even think Bea is bad! But I really don't see anyone as extremely suspicious right now. Bullz is maybe half suspicious to me right now, but he's quieted down a bit so I'm not too sure. I would consider a vote for LoRab if there's some evidence, and maybe even LC for trying to sway the votes a bit, but I don't feel too strongly about either of them. I'll hold off voting for another hour or two, but I have a meeting during the lynch so I probably won't be able to change last second if more information comes to light.

What do the rest of you think? Is it a really bad tactic to vote for who you trust the most?
Dana, I've never known anyone in mafia whose told me they are doing this so it makes it hard to respond. I know what you mean because I feel it too, I keep evaluating people wrong and voting for civs so it makes me think some of the people I think are good are really bad. But I wouldn't vote for anyone I didn't mind seeing lynched unless I'm sending a "message" vote" ("I've got my eye on you") to someone. I don't want to tell you what to do but that's the way I think about it.
In a manner of speaking, that's what I'm doing with Canuck and LoRab. I have trusted them all game, and we've lynched Civ after Civ. It was time to flip things up a bit, so I looked at them from a different angle. I don't think they would trust me exactly as much as they have, with even a little doubt and suspicion sprinkled in just right, unless it served their purposes as baddies to keep me under wraps. They don't want me coming after them, they want me to trust and agree with them.

This conclusion would not have happened any time earlier in the game, it's just because we are getting so low on players and shit is completely dire at this point. It's them. And Hedge. That's what I think, AND that's what my gut tells me as well. Those two don't always agree, my head and gut.

Yes. He's too alone.
I have been wondering this myself, but if you were on a baddie team and knew he'd survive, you be much less likely to step In And defend him. Especially this late in a game. In supernatural we had a save for Dom, he was getting heat from day 1 and survived. Of course everyone lynched him the next day, but it didnt reveal our whole team either. People with lynch saves are almost always lynched the next day I had found recently unless the lynch save is listed in the roles. So I wouldn't expect that.

I also wondered about Lorab, but have very little read on her. Partly I wondered about her defending you since I find you suspicious as well. However, since that's contingent on your baddieness, I would vote you first.

I am still likely to vote LC or Boogs currently, but leaning to LC at this time.

Boogs, it's between you and LC for me currently, but I am certainly interested in your theory about LC, Bullz and I being on the same team. Is this what you are currently thinking? Who are your top suspects?
Hedge correct on my top suspects. The flip flopping of Bullz and LC has me more interested than you. I'm not picking on silent players as Bullzeye claimed. I can't help that someone keeps doing that to people who have gained suspicion. But, I'd vote Bullz right now if the poll were to end at this moment.
That's ridiculous. "The flip-flopping of LC" is a single time that I specifically cast an early vote to get reactions. There was no "flip-flopping" involved at all. Flip-flopping is when you believe something, and then don't, or whatever. What I did this past lynch is vote for someone solely because Boogs asked me to. I didn't question him, I didn't give any reason at all why I would vote for Hedge, I just did it. Then after not too many posts came in in the time I had, I decided I didn't get the reactions I was hoping for, and I made my REAL vote.

I never intended to vote for Hedge that lynch when I cast my early vote. That vote was solely intended for reaction-gauging. Read it again. You can't call that a "flip-flop" and expect to be taken seriously. I voted Hedge because one person asked me to, and it was temporary from the get-go.

So go ahead and suspect me for "flip-flopping", but you can't expect to be taken seriously on that charge by anyone who simply reads the events of the thread. Do you really think I'm going to vote someone at this point in the game because someone who acts as sketchy as it gets asks me to? Am I Boogs' buddy now, who votes like he wants because I'm cool like that? I'd appreciate if you'd give my actions a proper analysis Boogs, and don't call me a "flip-flopper", because I'm not.

Linki... Ok don't say any more then... I don't know why suddenly I'm bad in your books, is it because I voted for you? I had my reasons, and it's not like you do a lot to allay suspicion. You want to ride the line to avoid nightkills, then you can't just call your voters baddies. You did this to yourself, maybe you went too far over the line this time.

Don't think that coming after me now is going to improve our lynch record.
LC you said you believed and would vote Hedge and so did Bullzeye and then you both started making crazy cases before the end of the lynch making it look like a connection or save for Hedge from desperate teammates seeing others agreed they could vote Hedge as well and had to act quick.
I admit that I was deceptive on the Hedgeowl vote. I didn't fully trust you, and I decided to comply with your request to see what reactions it picked up, but then not much was said and I thought you were the most suspicious of the options, given the fact that you twice pushed for the lynch of a silenced person.

I KNOW this is my paranoia speaking. I know it. He double crossed me in trev's star wars game, he double crossed me in wabbit's sword of truth game, he double crossed me in fight club. He's *really* good at starting out as civ and then doing the double cross. Are you SURE about him?

I keep thinking "this time for sure LC is civ!" and I keep being wrong. Is this the time I'm right? I'm unsure of lorab so IDK what to make of her vouch for him, but I've had good feels about you and bullz.
I am Civ this game. How did I double-cross you in Fight Club? Sure, I was a recruited baddie, but I only got recruited partway through, I just don't recall specifically double-crossing you. But yes, even I get Civ roles sometimes.

Really? Still catching up (it's slow because of TV... Gotham series premiere, Sleepy Hollow season premiere, and now just an episode of Friends I haven't seen... show catchup. Shouldn't be a prob since no one is on here this late) and I am perplexed about this. I would feel better if you could also provide some evidence that you tried at all to stop SVS' lynch. I don't really understand how faking a curse was a realistic plan to stop her lynch.

Is it reasonable to assume that your non-lynch makes you more Civvie?

Ahh, Trev's Star Wars was such an amazing game. LP is back, in case anyone hasn't noticed, so all those classic mafia archives are available again :D The ending was insane. LC knew he could win with me, but he tried to kill me anyway... thankfully my role didn't allow for that :p
What? How is LP back? That's amazing! I am not caught up completely, I know Boogs survived. But I had to post when I saw this!

That Star Wars game was awesome, one of my favourite roles ever! Rogue Jedi whose role got more powerful as the game progressed, ability to go Indy and win on my own terms, but got to play with an awesome team. Sorry, Enrique, glad you survived my sneaky double-cross!

Re: Day 9 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I really find Boogs the most suspicious. I don't think it's a coincidence that two recently silenced people were attacked by him, it seems like an opportunistic baddie who is close to winning and getting brazen. Changing vote to Boogs, going to work now. Good luck Civvies!

Linki: sorry I can't respond.d to that huge post right now.
