Return to “Mortal Kombat Mafia [ENDGAME]”
That sounds wicked awesome!MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2018 1:35 am Last time that we tried to lynch someone in a game and someone else got lynched instead we just tried to lynch the same person again the next day and it was freakin' sweet so I say we just do that again.
Seems to be true. Ok, how much can we trust Ermac?MacDougall wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:49 pmI scum read him and still do.Long Con wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 9:47 pmIs it? I thought I saw that clearly before I posted that. Going out right now, I'll try to follow up on that tomorrow.

How likely are you to vote Wilgy tomorrow?
Glorfindel could have been wrong, like manipulated/false info, and still believed what he was saying, and therefore still honest.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:11 amCritical thinking is the darnedest thing.
It's fun that in this incredibly fake effort to make me look like a scary boogie monster, your distrust of my reads is factually, objectively equivalent to a distrust of Glorfindel's reads -- the same reads he expressed with a hell of a lot more confidence than I have. To have this opinion, you are required by logic itself to have no care in the world that Glorfindel used the word confirmed to describe one of your suspects. You can't be fussed even a tiny bit that Glorfindel did a complete 180 when a night phase ended on your other suspect.
You're so fake. It's up the other people to see it as plainly as I do.
Agreed, but it's not like Kano has the ability to know who is bad and then deceitfully proclaim that they're Civ. Unless I'm wrong about what you're saying.Marmot wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:06 amI look at your alignment claim.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 12:59 amLong Con is mafia because I said he isn't?
The power I wield.![]()
I look at the possible roles you could be based on that claim.
I look at your in-thread actions after said claim.
I don't understand how anyone would trust or listen to you after that.
Well, I think you are a Civ, mostly a gut read I guess, I have liked your responses to JJJ. Sorry I'm a little lazy in this game, but I am.Marmot wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 12:55 amYou helped lynched nutella, I'm displeased with that.
You've had more to say about myself and Jay the past couple days than any other topic (and very little to say about other topics). I don't mean for our discussion to take the front seat, but I'm fighting for my life.
Jay came in after the Day 4 lynch and said you and lap are civilians. I don't believe it, or anything he says at this point. I think that was a bold misdirect from him.
I'm quite sure you would rise again in three days.Glorfindel wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 12:29 amI do actually feel like death warmed up right now, my friend - I hope your comment isn’t prophetic...
No, I just meant for aesthetics.
So you think that two people lynched there was good? I thought so, I mean we were going to lynch nutella tomorrow anyway, so why not fast-track it?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2018 1:36 amNo, this was ideal.speedchuck wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2018 1:32 am Dang.
Well I'm glad Epi helped with the double lynch. What with the mafia losing a vote power, AND Simon, we should have bought a day. Even if Nutella's stupid lynch mitigates that gain somewhat.
I'm not really happy with the way that whole lynch went down, but I've said my piece already on that. Time to hunt based on it.
Reptile counts 2 votes. Cage and the nightkill count 2 votes.
If we had mislynched Nutella tomorrow, we'd take another nightkill, losing 3 town votes to 2 mafia votes.
This allowed us to eliminate Nutella as a suspect AND gain valuable information.
Heck, I decided to just use it.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 10:18 am40Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 10:07 amThat is exactly where my thoughts were going, although I was starting with "How many abilities would be reasonable to list, in order to hide mine in there?"Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 2:14 amI think the only way around the rules is to come up with a strategy for literally every ability ever.![]()

But seriously, 3-5. That would more than hide your ability for rules purposes and for strategic purposes.

Okey-dokey!Glorfindel wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 7:52 pmNo you won’t LC - she’s one of us.
If Quin's secret second ability is to give us an extra day or something, then isn't it against the rules to do this?
Sup fam!

I guess it worked, huh?
Glorf is going to die, but probably me first. Being two totally-confirmed Civs.lapluie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:53 pmWhat? Where are you going glrof?Glorfindel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:43 pm I’m so trying not to be bitter about all this. Maybe it’s because I don’t spend sufficient time developing relationships with my fellow teamies through which I can more effectively influence their vote choices. All I had here was my reputation and (in the end) that counted for very little.
That said, my game will almost certainly end here. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to play again with some of my old friends here and to get to play with some new peeps. Thanks, All![]()
Hey man, thanks, but don't you think it's kind of risky to be blurting that stuff?
