Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 4]
Ok, so Wilgy didn't vote.... he could have made it a tie... and made the plan work... and then has the nerve to say:

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 4]
Ok, lay out the voting scenario for everyone to get on track.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 12:20 amI don't like this. If Made doesn't agree to a tie then he gets lynched. He would have to agree for it to work. There's no reason for Neverwhere to get lynched, he isn't doing anything.Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2017 10:06 pm Ok then. I'll vote Neverwhere, with the understanding that people will try to make this a tie.
However, with 7 of us here and Neverwhere not voting, I doubt Made will agree to allow a tie if he's the lynchee. Perhaps he can vote Neverwhere and Wilgy can direct the tie to Neverwhere this time.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 4]
I like this plan, I also want to move forward with a Wilgy-test scenario.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 11:21 pm Assuming 2 Maf left
Boomslang - could be Maf with
DrWilgy - Could be a very smart maf
Elohcin - could be Maf with LC or Boom
Long Con - could be Maf with Elo
Made - could be Maf with anyone
Neverwhere - could be Maf with anyone

Wilgy, I'll make sure you get your tie today but you have to call who's going to die before it happens.
I typed that, but then I thought about how it's a closed setup game, and a baddie extra vote would negatively implicate Wilgy. If Wilgy is tested and is wrong, do we then lynch him?

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 4]
I'm not so differently-minded about Boomslang, but I am Civ and I believe in you as well, Eloh. How do we decide Neverwhere is the one? Tough to lynch a no-show when every lynch counts more and more.Elohcin wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 9:32 pm We're winding down here. I'm thinking tony, made, or neverwhere by process of elimination.
I'm civ. I feel good about LC, which is odd for me. Boom's responses to accusations make me feel better about him. Also, mafia killed blooper. And, I believe wilgy is the indi.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 1]
This quote is probably the most relevant one of Made's. I'm trying to decide if it's a post you make to a Mafia teammate. I'm leaning to the 'no' side, but I'd like to hear other opinions.
Otherwise, his contribution is to suggest we all out ourselves. False claims can make that not work, but we don't have proof of false claims. Maybe we can keep that one in our back pocket until later?

I would be willing to vote DF over Boom.

DrWilgy I believe is Indy, and helpful to the Civs. I'd like to see his rainbow list, as an order of tie-breaking priority.

Dom's contributions to this game have been generally short and terse. I don't get a baddie vibe from him.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 1]
Not many posts from DF yet. This one feels like he could be bad, and knows Boomslang is good, and is buddying a little.DFaraday wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 8:16 pmI assume because he seemed to come across as defending Rico, who turned out to be bad? I don't really hold that against Boom though, since it felt a little too blatant for a teammate. I'll go ahead and vote Enrique as well, since this game really needs talkers more than not (and yes, I admit I've been part of the problem. We weren't supposed to be on our phones).

Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 2]
I agree with the Boom suspicion. A look at his ISO is suspicious to me. The gimmick, the Rico defense, looks bad to me.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 2]
Cool stuff Wilgy. I respect your ability to abandon the gimmick for common sense.
It's late Sunday night here. Here's what's in my copy/paste thingy:
Boomslang
DFaraday
Dom
DrWilgy
Elohcin
Enrique
Long Con
Made
Neverwhere
nijuukyugou
Ricochet
speedchuck
TonyStarkPrime
Names. What I want to do to try and start taking part in this game is a review of everyone's posts. Shouldn't be too hard. But not now. Now I have to go to bed.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 1]
Cool idea. I obviously haven't done this yet, and I see that some think it's not sporting. From what I'm told, "sporting" doesn't win the game. I'll try to work something in.Made wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 12:47 pm You know, I've never actually had a martini! Thanks bloops <3
So I just had a metagame-y idea: Since info dumping and claiming are allowed, if we all use a "password" derived from our role name and posted them in thread early, a false role claim from mafia would be immediately be apparent.
Thoughts?
RIP Speedchuck, sorry you don't get to detect any lies.

So I forgot this game had started, sorry. I won't really be able to be here much until this weekend is done, because of a food truck event. I have read nothing yet.
