Something that I didnt really touch upon D1 since I townread you both independantly but I think the fact both of you went at each other for ages with very little intervention means that mafia were probably content to just let town argue there. Its not a huge point but something I'm conscious of & would like to hear what you think of it

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 2)
There's been a lot of focus on trying to find pyxxy's teammate(s), which is normal and sensible.
I do believe that it's multiball. Epignosis laid it out best earlier, all the factors and history do lead to that conclusion, so I'm very comfortable assuming it is. Some people seem to communicate with the other thread, so I'd like to request that the next communication includes "Landlords" and asks about what they know over there on the subject. Maybe Lime Coke was a Landlord, and maybe not.
So I was thinking about what a non-Landlord wolf might be doing today, and their only basic recourse is to keep wolf-hunting for pyxxy's teammates, rather than trying to find the other (their own) team. Maybe something extra-effort performative.
Porscha said there are four players who are each doing a dive into pyxxy's interactions. I'd have to look and see who each of them are, but I would bet that one of them is a wolf on the other team. It just makes sense to me. Ok I'll look.
Epignosis, leetic, Rico... and Porscha did say "3-4 players" at one point so I won't nickel and dime her for it. I'm not interested in going after Epignosis, but leetic is still a Person of Interest, and Rico the same. I would at this time vote leetic over rico, but that's probably because of the thing I quoted him on, below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm still happy with my vote on sig. He "liked" my case on Seanzie twice, but has never referenced what he likes about it, or built on it. He just using it as an excuse to someday vote for Seanzie, keeping it on life support with a couple of offhand, later-referenceable nods to a guy that DID make a case.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
My post before was to call out pyxxy about the game we just finished together. pyxxy said something about that game (to paraphrase) mentally exhausting them as the sole wolf going through the last two yeets. As a fellow player to the end, I was one of the most able to call bullshit on that, since I had just lived it. It was a false portrayal of his necessary effort in that game, in my opinion.
That's what that post was calling him out on. I don't understand how you are interpreting it as me being "pretty certain they'd flip wolf".

@TonyStarkPrime Are you posting like drunk-despair Tony Stark, or am I adding that in because of the avatar?
Ok, this is weird because no one has ever said something like that about a case I made. I'm gonna need to know what points you thought were good, please. This is the second time you've brought this up without really referencing anything in the case as a relevant point. Just vague. I'm gonna join Tony on your budding wagon at this time. Do you see why I'm suspicious? [VOTE: sig] aubergine
I had to/will have to check myself on who I'm townreading based off going after pyxxy. It's tough, because I still feel like I like all my townreads. So I'm keeping it in the back of my mind for now. If it is multiball, it mainly affects my read on Seanzie/you since there's no guarantee that Pyxxy would know if either of you are town or the other mafia team etc, the other two I dont think change too much

Anyways, sorry about the big post, just so busy that I won't be able to do all that many posts on this Day. Gotta put it all together.
leetic's case on ricochet was pretty good as well.
I'll just do a rainbow list in this post because I like colours.
Long Con
Epignosis
☆Princess Abigail☆
Scrappy Doo Epi I like as town, same with Abi, Scrappy seems fine for now
Sloonei
Porscha
sig
TonyStarkPrime Sloonei looks pretty good, Porscha too, sig I'm not counting out yet, Tony probably got lucky being in this colour
Seanzie
leetic Both Seanzie and leetic have garnered my suspicion for their own reasons, but have been more convincing in their posting. I feel like I at least trust their opinions.
Ricochet
Falcon
Delta Rico and Delta have been in the negative spotlight via leetic and Epi, falcon looked bad to me after D1.
There it is, just a quick snapshot of basically where I stand at this time.

Hey guys, not too much time right now but I'm trying to put all my thoughts into a post as I read the thread. I won't have all that much chance to post for the next 48 hours, unfortunately, but I will read everything, and try to respond and give thoughts.
Reading on, I like the way that leetic seems to genuinely misunderstand the general consensus of what's going on re: multiball. BUT he did send a Secret Santa Gift to Lime Coke, if I'm not mistaken. Guess it wasn't a Get Out of Jail Free card.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
That's very cool of you, thank you. It was easier when I got back to my desktop, but I was pumping gas and catching up, and my eyes blurred out when trying to see. (I also need glasses shhh no one knows yet esp my wife)

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
Ok, so is the idea that Scrappy Doo is a player who also has access to this alt account? One player controlling two votes?
If so, I wonder if Scrappy's alt is in the other thread. Scrappy hasn't said all that much, and nothing for the first half or so, and the prevailing theory is that the other thread likely has more posts than this one. So that would line up.
@Scrappy Doo Is there any chance at all that you could drop the all caps thing? It's hard to read.
Oh! And finally... in the original Scrappy Doo game: kill Scrappy, player lives...kill player, both die? (assuming I have the concept right)

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
Why not? You think that the response to every defense a player gives has to be either "ok, I believe you're town" or "I don't believe you, you're a wolf"?
First, your answer set me back on my heels a little. "Am I the asshole here, he said I'm making stuff up instead of reading his words, I am guilty of not fully reading Night 0, maybe I'm being ignorant here." So I didn't feel enthusiastic about pushing harder if that was the case.
You then clarified that you're not saying the two accusations were the same, ok, fair... but you still said one corroborated the other, which implies a level of cohesion to things that I don't think is there.
So yeah, I didn't continue the conversation. There was lots of time left in the day.
Is that what I did? I didn't keep pushing you at all, why would you say that??Your acknowledgement ended our conversation, presumably in a way you felt satisfied with, but then you kept pushing the idea of scum!me in the thread with information that predated my explanation.

Epignosis said he didn't know why I had voted you. I gave a quick synopsis of why.
"Indication of reflection"? "reluctance to keep actively pushing me"?? Dude, what are you even talking about, this is not real talk. You're now claiming your thoughts of me were waning (I actually upon reflection think this is quite a bad look, the "I was faltering on you, but now that you're pushing back, I'm back to it" doesn't look good IMO), but I don't see any indication of reflection from you, just a reluctance to keep actively pushing me while still talking about me to others.
So, let's have a real look at this.
I vote you, and say the reasons why. You respond, and I say 'fine'. I don't keep pushing you. I talk about other things. My suspicion wanes a little - maybe I was basing my analysis of falcon off D1 and you were more N0. Maybe we don't view the word "corroborate" the same; maybe I'm being pedantic and I picked up the wrong vibe.
A day later, Epi asks why I voted you. I tell him. You interject with a disparaging metaphor about my reasons.
I take the disparagement as an indicator that you are stressed about my opinion of you, and I let you know. I also tell you my suspicion has waned.
Here's where things get weird. In the same post, you just accused me "you kept pushing the idea of scum!me in the thread" and said I have "a reluctance to keep actively pushing [you]". Neither of those things are true, and they contradict each other.
I did not keep pushing you in the thread, not because I was "reluctant", but because my suspicion was waning. Like I said. One might even say that a lack of pushing you might be an "indication of reflection" if you think about it.
Ok, I thought that we were interacting at the time of that interaction. If you want to play coy word games, that's fine, but I might not always be in the mood, especially during times like these when you're somewhat frustrating me with the things that you ARE saying plainly. The initial "I'm curious" line was to bait you into continuing to interact with me, but you didn't bite. Are you always so hands-off with people you suspect?
Am I "hands-off"? I don't know, but I'm always open to understanding more about how I play, so you are welcome to look further into this idea.
Out of the...? I wasn't aware that I gave that impression. I think you should expect Long Con to play like Long Con, and not toss out an arbitrary "No True Scotsman" about what townies do or don't do.The "I continue to find it curious that you aren't curious about what I'm curious about." was both wordplay and a point - you not following up with me after that does not put a good taste in my mouth. I would expect a townie to either tunnel in or show clear reflection and progression, not to feel like they wanted out of the conversation.
Why Sloonei and TSP? Did I try to get them to vote you?I feel like you wanted me to be a suspect, then when people like Sloonei and TSP weren't really biting, you perhaps "waned" in that you decided I wasn't a viable push, but then when I didn't let your push on me go, you've had to backtrack to pushing it again. Perhaps this lacks a bit of generosity towards a potential town!LC world, but I think this narrative makes sense in a wolf!LC world.
This last paragraph is goofy. You should have quit while you were ahead, Seanzie, all these words here just made me much more suspicious of you than I was when I put the initial vote on.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
Now, you're, what... gettin' silly? All reasons are 'earlier reasons'. I have given your defense some consideration, but it didn't do the job of completely wiping away my suspicion of you.Seanzie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:55 am On the flipside, I found it quite curious how you seemed to accept my explanation without question I said "fair enough". To me, that's more of a neutral response, an acknowledgement of your response, than 'accepting without question'.
, but keep your scumread of me afterwards, I do expect most players to defend themselves in some way when they are accused. I do not automatically rescind my scumread because the accused typed some words.
citing those earlier reasons without any hint of consideration, or "waning" as you claim here, and I continue to find it curious that you aren't curious about what I'm curious about.
Unless it was just wordplay for the sake of fun, then please fill me in on what you are curious about. I'm all ears.
Let's go through your 'earlier' defense, so that we have less misunderstanding:
Looks like your main issue was that I took "corroborates" as being something that confirms or supports. I think your two accusations of Falcon are disparate, and not corroborative. One could do lots of "interjecting with pointed, mild aggression" and still "vote without pushing". One could do very little of such interjection, and vote with reasoned and well-explained logic.Seanzie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 4:19 pmLet me know when you want to read the words I wrote without filling in things I didn't say. I found Falcon's D0 questionable. I found Falcon's vote on my questionable. I never said that Falcon's vote was exactly the same thing as Falcon's vote on me, but that the lackluster approach to the vote corroborated my earlier view.Long Con wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 4:06 pmSeanzie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 2:48 pmNo. I remembered that I found him sus D0. He doesn't have any of the sharpness that town!Falcon has. Town!Falcon will make plenty of fluffy posts, but will also interject with some pointed, mildly aggressive questions and observations. Scum!Falcon doesn't do that second part, and I didn't see any of that D0. Today, him voting me without pushing or real reason just corroborates this view.Does it corroborate the first view though? "Voting without pushing or real reason" isn't the same as "doesn't interject with pointed, mildly aggressive etc." Right? But you are saying it does, and I just detect some level of fakeness going on here, both from the fact that falcon HAD asked such a question prior to this, and for the dodgy corroboration and general vibe.
[VOTE: seanzie] aubergine
If you had said "I suspect him for a lack of interjections and also voting without pushing/reasons is a suspicious thing" then it wouldn't have caught my eye. Your claim that one corroborates the other implies a more stable 'case' it forming around Falcon based on your accusation.
So, I reject the idea that I was filling in things you didn't say. You are the one who said the two reasons are corroborative, and I am rejecting that notion, and telling you that I think it's suspicious that you would try to bolster the case's strength through dubious reasoning.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
I didn't detect curiosity in your 'paper' post. It reads more like it's important for you to jump in and discredit me. I don't see why that was really necessary, since I wasn't confronting you or trying to push others to vote for you. Epi asked me about it, I didn't bring it up.Seanzie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:35 amMore curious.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:30 amYou worried, bro?Seanzie wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 9:00 am*looks at piece of paper without any holes*

My suspicion of you was kind of waning, but your reaction to that post doesn't feel towny, it feels like a worried wolf who needs to shut down suspicion.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
Still voting Delta, is Delta still your number one suspicion? I ask because the reasoning here is outdated now that Delta has said more, and has three votes.
