I understand that (somewhat); one of my university's applications is due December 15, and it's beginning to freak me out. I am applying for my PhD in Accounting and specifically I am looking into the topical area of Auditing, so I'm mostly looking at universities that are known for strong Audit-based programs, though I am also open to Financial. I picked up a job at CPA firm nearly half a year ago now, right after I finished passing the last part of the CPA exam, and it has been incredibly good experience, but during certain times of the year it is intense. Because of tax extensions, 9/15 and 10/15 deadlines were a busy time for me, and I realize that the regular tax season will be likely even busier.

I have 8 applications and they're almost all due December 1st :'( I'm going for microbiology and/or oceanography type programs, although I'm not working in a lab like that right now. I technically work ~40 hours a week but the lab is pretty lax and no one really cares when I come or go.

That deadline sucks, and I wish you good luck getting them all complete! I have 11 applications that I'm working on; it's insane just how much work goes into them.

That sounds awesome! I've always thought oceanography to be pretty intriguing.

This conversation is boring. I'm bored now, and I want it to stop.

I'm doing pretty well, thanks for asking! Between hosting a game here and participating in games elsewhere, work (even though it's downtime), PhD applications, etc. etc., I am keeping pretty busy, but I suppose that's certainly a good thing.

This game should be fun! Hopefully as my Meat Boy game and the Island over on RM die down more, we can get this going.
