Hi, FZ!

It's all I had time to say. I'd hope to have an idea of where to vote by now, but I pulled extra hours at work yesterday and today. :/
Hey :)
Well, you still have time to read through. Can't wait to hear what you think ;)

I was surprised how easily he changed his vote off rox and seemed to do so following a trend of people doing the same.
Wouldn't you think he might be more guarded with his shifting as a baddie?

Okay, what do you think of llama so far?
I'm not sure yet. He's pinged me a bit, but I feel I've been extra bad about reading him anymore.

What do you think of him?
Something about his reactions seems too cheerful or merry, as he calls it, to feel genuine. But I know he gets lynched often on day 1, so I wonder if it's one of those instances
Good point re: baddies on D1. Never thought of it that way before.

Regarding this, yeah, I don't know. I haven't seen enough actual baddie hunting from him yet, but I'm not sure as to his alignment really at all right now. I wouldn't say his behavior so far is out of character for his personality, so I'm hesitant to let him seeming too careless as indicative of baddieness.
I don't know. When I talk about baddies pushing a little too much, the line where he explains why he's voting Nunju strikes me as a good example for that. I'm kind of torn between those two. No one else caught my attention other than that so far.

I wanted to make sure I got my vote in because I wasn't sure if I would be too busy to do so later. Sorry I didn't have any wonderfully thought out logic behind it. As far as ninja goes idk I'm seeing it as an I want to post something and be involved in the conversation post rather than anything crazy. I mean no I don't expect anyone to ping or do anything obviously baddie the first day but there's always that possibility I guess.
I think that sometimes, the first day is the best place to find baddies. While civvies are really relaxed and have nothing to hide, the baddies do, and sometimes they just push a little too hard. After the first day, theories and conspiracies take over and it's somehow easier to trick people because of wifom and how we go in circles in our minds. At least I do.

You know, I'm not sure. I certainly don't like it. But I don't know whether it's just not understanding her logic and she's civvie, or whether she's a baddie trying to find a way to save her teammate or just needed to come up with a reason to vote someone.

What?

And I didn't get Snow Dog's answer either

I'm not sure how I seem eager to please. I'm vocal in expressing agreement and disagreement. God forbid I agree with you because you and I generally see eye to eye on matters (something I believe we've both noted).

What do you mean by "explains things"? I'm confused.

Yes...

....and no!
What is this supposed to mean?

Why do I not seem genuine? Or is that not what you were saying?
Okay, I like your answer. But recently, you started out every game suspicious of me, so this agreement thing surprised me. And by explaining, I meant that you went into detail when answering people's questions when no one else did. Could be you're the only polite person in around, though.

I always throw in a joke when I am having fun. It is because I am merry.

nijuukyugou wrote:Hello, everyone! I am pleased to see there aren't 7 pages of reading to catch up on (of course, when I have the time off to read...but no complaints here :D )

Why are people voting so early? And for hardly any reasoning behind their votes? I see "to make them talk," "because I feel like it," and "as a placeholder." Seems like an easy way to hide your bad vote if you're bad. I'll wait a bit before I make my decision since we have until tomorrow, but these votes ping me something awful.
I don't like this post. First of all, you obviously read the thread to know that the people voted for no reason, so how come you're asking something that I already asked and that was already discussed? If you did read it, why be redundant? Why not put in something of your own?
Also, in what way do they ping you? Does someone specific catch your eye, or is this just your baddie way of saying something without really committing to anything?

I am glad to play with people who know me - its nice srsly <3
I hope that zinger wasn't meant for me :P I'm kidding.

Personally, I don't get all the early voting. To me, all it does is garner reactions that are allowed to be humorous because no one can really take them serious, hence it helps the baddies blend it.

limki: why do you need a vote on the board? Did I miss something? Do we not have 48 hours?
I don't either, frankly. I missed playing with you over here, FZ. :p

But it seems the trend in games anymore to have changeable votes (personally, I don't like them, but that's just my preference). I used changeable votes in Doctor Who, especially early on in the game, to vote the person that currently was highest on my :eye:, and whether I kept the vote on them was usually specified in my posts.

I don't feel comfortable ending the day period with my Rox vote, but I do think it was odd she was like "WTF with the early votes?" then turned around and made one herself. I just wanted to make her and others aware of that. It also is an easier way to start discussion; players are less apt to ignore suspicions if you've accompanied a vote with them.

I presume something better will come up and I'll change it, but if I don't or if I miss the vote, then at least I have a vote of some ping registered.

It's really a case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". Normally I would never vote this early, personally. Can't speak for why everyone else is voting the way they are.
The feeling is mutual :)
By the looks of it, you're much more vocal then your last few games. Any reason for that?
I get that. We used to do a lot of voting on the first day to start the game rolling, but a. not used to it here, and b. in my opinion, if it's just followed by a joke, it does the opposite of what it's supposed to do

Social problems, like drug abuse or racial profiling or teen pregnancy. Some are really good (some as in 5 out of almost 60). Most are adequate or just below par. Far too many are either atrociously written or blatantly plagiarized. And they've had four months to write and revise them.

I feel like my brain is leaking out of my ears. But I'm also done for the day. Thank goodness.
