Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 1)

I don't agree that Elo being disinterested in the game so far means that she's not an Old Rogue and/or is bad, Epi. In fact, I know that circa Harry Potteer mafia, Elo being uninvolved was a civvie tell of hers in your eyes.

Not really. I'd like to hear her response to Epi, but I'm far from convinced.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 0)

I don't think I've ever seen Epi call Elo out this early in the game. It has my attention. She's said two words so far. Which word did you find more suspicious, Epi?

FZ. wrote:TH, what do you think of Epig's sidekick proposition? Can you see him doing it just as a joke or maybe even as a smart civvie move, or do you think it's something sinister?
I'm not really sure at this point, I could see it going either way. It mostly reminds me of how he would offer his vote as a prize for winning his daily contests in TV Show Mafia. That shtick kept Epi alive in that game far longer than he usually lives, but it also made people not want to trust him and I believe they ultimately lynched him :P But he was a civvie. I'm not sure what his angle is here yet, I want to see how it develops.

I'm more perturbed by the fact that Epi hasn't voted in this poll yet.

They spell out the word "flash" which is English, I think.

It's quite simple. You do everything I tell you, and if you discover something suspicious, you say, "Holy blindfaeth in a noose, Epignosis!"
Somehow I thought there would be more to it than that. :( Do we have a secret hideout?

How many starting points are usually given in a map game?
I've only played on map game, the Island game that BR and LC hosted on RM. I wanna say that was close to a 10x10 grid. I don't remember how we chose starting points in that game tbh. But there's no guarantee that MR is going to use his map the same way that LC and BR did in their game so I'm curious to see how it plays out.

So what's the deal with this map? How will the map affect the game's mechanics? Does the Day 0 poll have something to do with the map?
