I lived in Ft Myers for 5 years! That's where the snake pic was taken I also lived on the east coast of Florida for a while too!

No Mongoose I am not a true Gator. I went to school in Ft Myers, but I am a Gator fan, and here is a picture of me and a buddy at a UF basketball game:

That camping pic is from Ginny Springs in Florida, near Gainesville. Really chill spot and they even have a lazy river you can float down, lots of beautiful springs

And if I recall correctly, I wasn't looking where I was walking and I nearly stepped on that snake. When I noticed it I let out an embarrassingly girly shriek, so I then had to pick the snake up to reassert my manliness. Its non-venomous nature was mostly assumed, very few snakes are poisonous! Although I've also almost stepped on a rattlesnake before, so maybe I need to work on my snake awareness.
