Re: Cards Against Humanity [Night 2]

I shall keep in mind next time that honest active participation is bad no matter your affiliation.

I voted twice so far. One I felt I did not have enough information and now when I do. So every time?

With how this game is set up it is going to be very easy For people to manipulate information and keep people from acting with the whole story.

If I am lynched, afterwards, could people tell me why not llama? Thank you.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 2]

I also went back and restated my stance after I realized a bit more about the roles. About the wanting to go after someone who posts more you would have to see the conversation earlier in the thread about how the most vocal get lynched even if they are not bad but because they are in sight and on the mind. It is a catch 22 and even though I don't like it it definitely helps me see that the more active I am the more likely I am to be lynched no matter my affiliation.

I thought there was a tie based on my only previous game where ties led to no lynch.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 2]

No civ can lock into a power AFAIK without three awesome points. No one should be able to have 3 awesome points yet. To survive a lynch you have to be bad, or have hidden votes against you allowing the lynch to fall on another. If the lynch actually should of fallen on another then my vote is misplaced but I believe I am not acting in error. Only time will tell one way or the other.

Sorsha wrote:The way you worded that post makes it sound like you thought/knew it was a tie.

And you are the second one to bring up the possibility of a tie in the lynch. And I find that weird... I have to look back and see who the other person was. I think it was MR. Yeah... It was MR.
I initially felt very sure that it was a tie now that I see other possibilities it may not have been. I feel less confident that llama was the one with the overall highest vote including people's powers, but things are only going to get harder to read as people get "the shit buckets dumped on them" and other permanent +1 powers. Even though I am less confident than initially I still feel strongest about llama.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 2]

Wow, this is going to be very difficult to track people's votes when they can be forced to vote a certain way. And all the +1, ,+2, or +3 votes. This game may be stacked a little for the baddies.

Sorsha wrote:Was there a tie?
Not an outright one but if the person who won the pen is envy submission used their +1 vote it could of forced the tie. This could indicate that the card czar broke the tie and the other one was bad or that no tie existed and he survived.

Re: Cards Against Humanity [Day 2]

I am voting llama unless something else changes my mind. I would rather vote someone less active but I don't have enough evidence for them yet. I am on the fence about lynching people who under participate.

What do you think about llama's suspicions? Would you agree with him if it were someone else and not you?
I think he may have a grudge against me for how I played in the last game but I can't be for sure. He tends to make passable arguments for those he votes for but as admitted by himself he has lately been lynching civs. I do not know anyone's play style well enough to believe anything they say yet but if you feel he has made a good enough case than I can't dissuade you. I think he is most likely bad because he survived the kill when in this game someone breaks ties.

I sort of feel like john showing back up in the thread after voting himself and receiving a second vote is indicative of being told in BTSC to come back to the thread...but his self-vote post uses the phrasing "don't know who to vote for yet", so I'm unsure.
It is night here and I was relaxing watching a movie so I decided to come back to the thread and check on it. I chose aces because I don't think anyone else will vote him and I won't be partially responsible for a civ death.
Intentionally voting for someone you don't think is bad because you know they won't get lynched is not my idea of helpful civ behavior. It's a way of avoiding accountability.[/quote]

Avoiding accountability was more or less exactly what I stated. I did not want to be partially responsible for a civ 's death. I am starting to get some minor pings on a few people and if they form into something more concrete I will share them I just don't want to point fingers yet.

How have I not fought? I have answered every suspicion leveled against me. What more can I do? I love this game, but one thing I hate about it is that the people who participate the most consistently get lynched first, while those who take the lazy approach and do nothing slide by without effort. You guys are new here, but anyone who has played with me in a few games can tell you how often I've been killed off early simply because my style is talkative, and yes, I find that frustrating. Who wouldn't?
I can understand that. I was constantly thinking last game that of we killed everyone who talked a lot just how boring the game would be.

To my memory, this is pretty similar to how he played in Shawshank, actually.
Looks like I'm going to have to switch my vote to someone who does not have a vote yet and do not want to Lynch someone without at least something to go on, even though it appears most votes you can only go on a gut feeling unless someone makes a major slip up. I read all the posts but I still do not know how to approach what to talk about in the threads if I do not get a ping or have to address something someone else has has said. You have to remember I am living in Saudi Arabia now so my time zone is more than a little off the normal.
