This past Sunday I went on a Pokémon Go meet up/gym battle with other players in my area and on the same team. Probably the nerdiest thing I've ever done.
It was interesting though seeing what some of the other players are like in person. All the way from the dorks who obviously still live in their moms basement, to professional looking adults to older, almost retiree aged.
Being able to take down an opposing teams level 10 gym in a couple minutes was fun

Yes it's back. It doesn't show how many steps away a monster is, but it shows what's at the nearest Pokestops.Cryptonic wrote:Is tracking system back? I agree that it works well. It usually tells me that the monster has fled but if you get there soon enough it's usually still there.

For some reason that new tracking system was rolled out on the western side of the US first. I'm in Wisconsin and had to wait but I have it now. I wanna I say the Mississippi River was the cut off. I like the new tracking system but it only works for what's near a Poke stop. If there are no poke stops near enough it's back to the old way.
