Re: 2016 Game of Champions - Hatch [Night 2]
You named almost half of the players in this thread as your suspects. All fairly low posters or players who hadn't posted at all. Why was sig the best of them? He hadn't even posted yet and we were into day 2 at that point I believe. Why not at least pick someone who you could reasonably expect to respond (because they had already posted in the thread)Long Con wrote:Why not sig? How is another player better than sig?Sorsha wrote:Why pick sig? If you wanted to rile up the thread why not pick someone who was at least posting? What if we all bandwagoned sig, he was lynched and flipped civ? Or flipped bad? What would we have learned?
If everyone just smiled and agreed and voted sig, then that would really say a lot about everyone in the thread. I assume in this hypothetical situation that sig never showed up at all and defended himself? Ok. If he flipped Civ, then that would suck, if he flipped bad then it would have been good. How much we learned is based on the different reactions of players. WTF are you talking about, Sorsha? These questions are not useful or interesting at all.
You're getting kinda hostile. I don't think the questions I asked you are as ridiculous as you're making them seem.
I just want to understand what you're thinking and how you thought this would play out. Don't turn it around on me.You think I had some plan on how to handle every eventuality of casting a vote on sig? Is that how you play? That's... ridiculous. Am I to believe that you do that for every post you make, every vote you cast? Get outta here with that crap. I'm sorry, but your questions are pretty irrelevant. I made a move to get things going. That's the start and the end of that story. There is no explanation about "what would we have learned if...?"
DH, I already identified that smell hours ago.
I'd also like to say that your saying my questions are not useful, not interesting and are irrelevant are completely and utterly rude.

I've got some suspicion of BR from main thread regarding her Mac posts & vote but I'm also eyeing LC and LoRab for entertaining the thought that Floyd might be silenced.

Also... I don't remember who else SVS suspected. She didn't want to lynch Mac based off of meta though.DrWilgy wrote:I actually have no memory of what Floyd said, but I do remember that there was suspicion of him.
I'm kinda at a halt here. The people I was most suspicious of were Golden, Made, Scotty and Prisoner... Maybe SVS. Did SVS state that she was suspicious of anyone other than me?
I kinda agree... but is it strange for Floyd to do this?timmer wrote:By the way Floyd was reading the thread about an hour ago. His lack of posting now becomes more of an issue when I know he has been here, knows he is in the hatch, and chose to say nothing. It suggests eother complete ennui or he's hanging in btsc somewhere. Either way it doesn't look good.

Well this was about being annoyed that the other thread couldn't be seen, I don't see that from LC. Doesn't really matter anyway since I mentioned it twice and I can see how it would appear as more them one player brought it up.timmer wrote:You mentioned not being able to see the main thread twice, and lc made a comment about sif and wanting to read that over in the other thread?Sorsha wrote:I see one.....timmer wrote:I see 3 mentions about the main thread before she posted that?

Re: 2016 Game of Champions - Hatch
Highlighted above: How many people do you remember stating something about the main thread?LoRab wrote:OK, agreed with all who stated above that it's really annoying to not be able to see the main thread, in order to see what was said previously. As is obvious, I suspect Wilgy, although less so than Day 1, based on lynch result--knowing that mafia has game-related roles (or at least some mafia), the slip seems less likely to be a slip. That said, his defense still doesn't sit right. And I still don't like that he never answered my question about why he automatically went to the conclsion that the first player to post about being from a game was lying about what game they were from, and what motivation he thinks they would have for lying about what game they were from.
I also suspect sig. Suspicion of him has been brought up a few times. He had one post that definitely pinged me and I didn't mention it at the time because I had cut and pasted a bunch of quotes and then lost them and didn't get around to going back to getting them all again and needed to get on with posting. And I don't remember exactly what it was or why it pinged me. And I realize that isn't at all helpful. And I really wish I could go back and reread his posts now. Dammit.

Also, in the Lost Again game only one player was lynched, but we were able to lynch players from the other location, unlike here.

Re: 2016 Game of Champions - Hatch
I was bad in the Lost Again game that this is from. I was Ana Lucia the mafia godfather. Publicly the game rules stated that the killer (me) had to be in the same location as the NK choice. Part of the secret of my role was that I did NOT have to be in the same location as our kill choice though, the same location thing only applied if I was dead. So all three of us baddies went to the same location and chose a player at the opposite location to kill.Long Con wrote:So, the bad guys probably placed people in both places. So they get to know what's going on... unless... anyone know from the original Lost Again game if the BTSC gets to cross over from Beach to Hatch? I assume baddie BTSC is uninterrupted. The good news is that we probably have a chance to lynch two baddies today. Let's at least try to show up our Beach compatriots and lynch well!
I look at our player list and I see a lot of people that I could vote for.
The Hatch/Beach thing.Quin wrote:Outcome?Long Con wrote:RIP Epi. So, whoever predicted this outcome... was right. The Hatch/Beach thing.

Llama called me out as bad in the Felt 2 game based on my very first post of the game and my use of smilies/tone so I will put some stock in his read of sig so far this game.DharmaHelper wrote:So Sorsha, of the Hatchies, whom do you suspect, and why?
Black Rock's posts about Mac had me feeling a bit of suspicion towards her yesterday. Without being able to see the main thread its going to be difficult to explain though.
