Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [ENDGAME]
Yeah, after I won the first duel I pick what I thought was the most random item I can't even remember what it was but epig told me I need some other item to get some help. That's why after the first duel I was all about getting myself back in a duel. I figured with the +2 modifier I could win one more. So I won my second one got the treasure I need and boom got to rise someone from the dead.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Thanks for doing whatever you did to force that night phase vote that ended with me returning to the game. I'd have just stayed dead and useless otherwise.Bass_the_Clever wrote:Awesome game everyone!! Sorry Quin I really thought you were bad. Lol . We did it JJJ thanks so much for the much needed help at the end.
I'm assuming that was triggered by the items you collected in your duels?

Can I ask what's suspicious about me?Scotty wrote:Can someone please explain the blooper vote?
I don't think she is bad in the slightest and yet she continues to get votes every phase. What role do you think she is?
Here's the math. We know realistically that there can only be one remaining Nanman and one remaining YT. Blooper is at least active enough to drop in seemingly random votes every phase. There was no kill last night, and Epi seemed very mum on revealing if a team has been eliminated.
I've already previously stated that I thought TH was Mafia, and even if he wasn't, there is a chance that one of the several nightkills from the YT could have been Nanman.
Unless you think there is still one left who hasn't been paying attention since Mac died and a kill wasn't submitted..which if that's the case, then the only two people who missed the vote yesterday are Bass and Aragorn.
I think Bass is our best choice to battle, because even if he loses, he still has a suspicious cloud looming over him IMO, whereas I think a ninja vote is non productive.

Yours,
Thanks for talking directly to me and lying about it. Russ was the lizard king.
I take back what I said- you said on Day 3 that Dom was saved, which would be kinda silly to do if you were Dom. I no longer think you are Dom.
Let me also talk directly to Sloonei:
I mentioned last night that it's a bad look for you to not have looked at Days 1 and 2. Ironically, I think those are the days that have the most information to be gleaned. After all, we caught 2 Nanman in a row, and have voting records to sift through! I'm leaning slight Mafia on you for that, as well as just realizing you replaced Bubbles, who was one of my Mafia reads from the day 1 lynch. I totally forgot why I dropped that suspicion, but then again I'm so busy these days I forgot what I ate for dinner last night.
@SLOONEI do me a favor and read through days 1 and 2. The "fresh perspective" thing is useful in a vacuum, but this is not a vacuum.
May I also review the battle histories, in case you all forgot..(I forgot and had to dig them up. After day 2, my inferences are scarce so I guess that's mostly to jog my memory):
Day 1: I defeated DrWilgy. He was Nanman. The lynch snuck up on both of us in about the last 30 minutes and I regrettably had nothing to do in that lynch besides be a pawn. But I did defeat a Mafia member, soI HOPE TO COME BACK TO THIS LYNCH
Day 2: Russ defeated MM. He was Nanman. Omg there's so much information on voting. It makes Dom actually look good, since MM tried to vote both he and Russ to save himself. We know Russ was good. Other people could be looked at as potentially dropping in save votes towards the end. I invite everyone to look at the vote progression there and make your judgments. I hope to look there again on my next break.
Day 3: Sorsha defeated timmer. Timmer was a civ warrior. This bodes well for Sorsha to the extent that odds are she was a warrior as well, though that's wholly inconclusive. The timmer train got crazy at the end of the day, and Sorsha and caps steadily rose throughout the day.
Day 4: Russ defeated MP. MP was Yellow Turban. The vote was tied between MP, Glorf and Bass, with Russ only 1 vote up because of a last second vote by nutella.
Day 5: Caps defeated DP. DP was a civ warrior. DP had a healthy train going and only had caps and Mac behind him. Dunno what to make of this one yet.
Day 6: DDL defeated caps. Caps was a civ warrior. Pretty straightforward vote, except Bass was tied with DDL, thanks to a saving vote from Nutella. Since we know both caps and DDL were civs, we knew Mafia had nothing to lose for voting them. Bass could have been a save opportunity though.
Day 7: Bass defeated DDL. DDL was a civ warrior. IM SEEING A PATTERN HERE. Bass and DDL had huge trains and it didn't look like anything else was going to happen today. Makes Bass look good. He probably was not "saved" the day before in the sense that his knowing teammate saved him.
Day 8: Bass defeated Russ. Russ was civ warrior. So at this point Bass has amassed 2 treasures and looks really good. For some reason he and Russ kept getting pushed to battle. There was no clear runner up to battle against them.
Anyone notice that the trains get going on people battling the day before or the day before that? And in the end, we're getting no closer.
I propose tomorrow we send up 2 people that haven't ever battled, because if the pattern continues, 1) we might just get nowhere and 2) we're running out of people that have battled before, me being one of them![]()
I don't think Bass is bad after looking at that, and think we should leave him alone. What do y'all think?
I don't know about your proposal tbh. Just on principle, I'm not likely to abandoned my scum reads just because they've won a few duels and have some items. In this scenario, I don't know whether I'll vote Bass again, even though he is STILL trying to push some nonsense against me. We'll see.

Because if you go into a duel not confident you've already lost.Sloonei wrote:That is a bit of a head scratcher. He never dropped his suspicion of you, but he did go from being especially vocal about wanting to lynch you to being okay with DDL instead without much attention or anything. At the start his eagerness to be sent to the duel was abot his confidence that you were bad, but as the votes took shape he continued to be content with dueling against DDL, like the target was never really relevant in the first place.
I wonder why he was so confident about his chances in that duel, but there's so many unknown factors to really make an alignment judgment off of that.

I still interested in face you. I think you are scum and I'm willing to prove it, unlike you who doesn't have the balls to back up your suspicions. I don't care if I die because I will flip civ. Also the treasures might have some powers that could help the mafia that's why I'm concerned about then. As to why I was cool face ddl last phase was because I figure towards the end no one wanted to get behind a Quinn lynched so I moved on to the next person who I thought might be bad. Quinn why aren't you willing to prove your points in a duel. I'm selling to die and flip because I know I've been honest and have nothing to be scared of even if I die it helps the town because it shows them I was honest. As for the treasures you should care. You think they are useless paper weights? People I urge you please put me up against Quinn .Quin wrote:What do you think about him being so determined to face me personally in a lynch, then turning around and doing the same thing with Luffy when my name didn't stick?Sloonei wrote:I just did not get any dishonest vibes from him at any ooint yesterday. Who did I vote for last lynch? The reason I'm not pushing the same thing on DSL IS because I understand why he isn't being killed. If I were bad I would keep him around because he is drawing heat and will probably end up dueling.nutella wrote:I mostly agree with this post, but I am significantly more suspicious of Bass now than I was earlier today. It's fair to speculate that a vocal player alive this late in the game might be left alive this long because they're the ones doing the killing. BUT we also have two scum teams, and it's also never a surefire thing that scums will just pick off the most vocal players one-by-one. There is more strategy to the game than that. That said, I understand where he is coming from and, based on the tone of his posts, I feel like it is coming from a genuine place.
That said, I also am still town-reading Quin, based on tone and content of his posts throughout the game. I am not inclined to vote for either of them right now.

The thing about voting to people who are scum reads is one is going to walk away with treasure. If it's an inactive who gets it we don't have to worry as much about it.Sloonei wrote:Because we have no substantial reason to suspect them. The way the mafia has played so far leads me to believe that they would want to kill both of those two before anyone else right now because Quinn has be acting super town and DDL has been one of , if not the top poster for sometime. They fit the pattern of who the mafia have been killing and yet they aren't dead. So that makes me think it's because they are the ones doing the killing. There is no sure fire way to find scum but that's the way I'm playing this game.
What makes you go with DDL and Quin over Nutella? Or Scotty, who was near the top in terms of activity before his two days of silence?
