Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

And for what it's worth, The Hobbit had a pretty active Day 1, yet there were still a mere 872 posts by the time Night 2 started.

I figured that's what you meant. Anyway, that's how I have a tendency to play. It helps me interact with people (when they actually respond), and also helps me keep up with the goings-on. Also, I'm not a great scumhunter, so I believe this helps others when they are doing such. Sometimes, I default to this style like I've kinda done this game. When I post original thoughts and ask questions and get no response, I tend to lose motivation. As you say, I've been active, and I was pushing Made on Day 1 as well, but it just went completely under the radar. It's a bit frustrating, really.

But this is a big game, so I won't dwell on it. It's not easy to keep up and respond to everything.

Honestly, because assumptions are fun. They also allowed me to get a theory. When SVS pointed out I assumed even, I edited my theory to account for additional people.

Since no one''s called me on it yet, I also assumed that if someone critizied Hedge they weren't teammates. I just assumed this because i would help is get a smaller group of candidates for questioning

As for your other comment about questioning you Enrique...

Anyhow, night :D
I don't understand SVS, why would Made taking a good look at Enrique make him bad? I know that Enrique spent all of Day 1 arguing for the civvieness of Made, but could that not also be a perfect baddie move? Let's be hypothetical for a second; Llama brought up a VERY solid point against Made, and Made didn't do himself any favors at the beginning, so what if Enrique is bad, and Made is not on his team, meaning there's a solid chance he is good? It's the 'see, I told you he was civ' scenario that may gain him some civvie cred.

And mafia isn't personal, it's not like Made owes Enrique any favors.

Yeah, don't do that, lol. I'm the kind that does this and gets uber defensive. There's definitely better ways to stand your ground. Not sure if anyone here remembers the mega-post I made that one time in Piano? For Recruitment Mafia, I think. I quoted posts from like every single page in the game. People had to spend whole minutes scrolling down to the end. It was half glorious half terrible. I got lynched.
Read that two, three times over and decide for yourself if it means anything.
Remember that one time in The Hobbit when you brought up fantastic circumstantial evidence against fingers, but never pursued it? And remember how fingers ended up being a baddie? This reminds me of that, except we don't know Enrique's role.

Day 0: Mostly off topic Monty Python references. Entirely too silly, and liable to be hauled away by the police. Lots of innuendo due to the opening poll, know what I mean, know what I mean? MetalMarsh was turned into a newt. Say no more!

Day 1: After a trivia contest at which Enrique seemed to be able to type supernaturally fast, the nudgers were on the chopping block. Several people said "don't use the chats as evidence!" and were ignored. Some llama brought up a chat suspicion about Made and they argued about it forever. Enrique stuck his nose in an argument that didn't concern him and they argued about it forever. Language competence was called into question. S~V~S scolded. Most people abstained from taking a side (like cowards). MovingPictures accused S~V~S which did not go over well at all, with votes piling on him faster than dogs piling on a dog pile (AKA a pile of dogs). Hedgeowl foolishly outed herself as HedgeBaddie in the eleventh hour, but she couldn't be voted for anyway. Llama gave a succinct and strangely moving description of his own personality to Dana and a bagpipe didn't say no.

Night 1: MovingPictures was lynched as a horrible indie and no one felt bad about it. God showed up (a bit late) and started demanding synopses and lack of grovelling. Thellama came back from a night of drinking and posted his entry so as not to displease the deity. There was probably linki.

Talking at night draws attention, often the attention of baddies wondering who to kill. So often people will kind of 'take cover' and hope that they avoid notice of the baddies.

Funnily enough it was MP, here I believe. Is this the thing you're talking about.

I did a reread of juliets early Day 1 posts. It does look very much like deflecting attention. I can't tell how sincere it is. But she does not seem to recall events that transpired in the chatroom. Was is ignorance or legitimate? I'm still trying to decipher.

I still don't think my vote will change though, at least not to juliets. I know I got a little emotional with Logan earlier, but I've reread him twice, and his posts look that of a sincere llama. Not only that, but I can't discount Made's reactions from early Day 1. They are not clean at all, even if he's looked a lot better of late. If Made flips bad, then a vote for juliets would be warranted.

If it makes you feel better, I get frustrated with mafia almost every single game, which is why I end up calling people idiots and getting in trouble with hosts/mods/MP.

But I keep coming back for more. Glutton for punishment. :D
I've gotten in 'trouble' with the mods twice in thread already this game. XD

thellama73 wrote:Oh yeah, you're right about Dana, but she never came into the chat while I was there. And since DisPor was hosting the other chat, I think it would be quite weird for him to come into ours.
Roxy came into ours, so I wouldn't consider that important.

Made wrote:the way the chat works is if you leave and rejoin, you see all messages you missed. That said, I had chat open and almost got kicked for being afk. When you brought up this point, the last messages were something along the lines of "Roxy cleared chat 8 seconds ago" "Dispor left 10 seconds ago" and "Dana joined 6 seconds ago". Basically this was a joke, as obviously if the messages appeared in that order the time stamps were incorrect.
Neither of those people were in our chat. They were in the other team's chat!

Switching my vote back to Made.
If you recall, Dana became a nudger and joined your group later on.

Also, Dispor is a co-host, so I guess he can do whatever he pleases.

Matt's been chattier than this game and I always like that. Need to catch up on the last few hours though before I say a) who is suspicious today and b) who I'd like to hear more from (to make sure they didn't post in the intervening hours).

I'm reading Rob like a straight up civ (but that's what he wants us to think!). No, but seriously.

MM - That's how I feel as well. PS I feel good about you.
You and myself don't really belong on that list, maybe juliets as well. The rest, sure.

Chatty Matt seems like good Matt to me. He's been on my baddie team once or twice (twice I believe), and he hardly said a word. That's what I'm going off of for now.

Linki: Hi, I'm Holden. Nice to meet you.

:| The posts are there go read them. I've already stated my suspicions and where I plan to place my vote.

Kind of a small bug-a-boo, but I couldn't find such an instance either. Not in this thread anyway.
