This does look like an authentic series of thoughts. I don't know that you'd be inclined to flop around on the Quin read like that as a baddie, since the latter example carries an implied positive for Scotty -- the same guy you were about to murder. It looks more like you were considering isolated points as they came to you and making judgments, which is a town look.

The post that supposedly made him shift was a post where I suggested that Scotty's change in Day 1 tactic was not suspicious. I know marmot read that. I already countered him on this. Neither of those posts explains why he was supporting the accusations against me while still voting the person who said them, and neither of them explain why he felt a 'pressure vote' was appropriate.

Here's the post, for reference. There is zero room for misinterpretation here.

I think Day 1 is much too early for Scotty to be dishing out scum-reads because they haven't stepped up to the plate, so that's mildly suspicious. Also interesting to note that he's straying from his typical 'voting an inactive on Day 1' strategy, which I find less so, because meta is meta and not evidence.

I'd give a read on MM. I don't like his vote bandying about that he's employed in the past, specifically in the Day 2 lynch when he tipped the balance against Quin 1.0.

Most of the things I'm not a huge fan of are his interactions with you, and those are only scummy if in fact you are bad.

That's my other reason for wanting to lynch you today. I believe that not only are you the most likely person to be bad, but you'd also be the most informative and educational lynch.

I think he put random names into a post. I don't think there was a good reason to associate Golden and INH as team mates while they were arguing with each other over page after page about strategic concepts. I have no idea what his gripe was with Ricochet. After he played so lazily at Wilgy 1.0, he'd have no choice but to maintain that image as Wilgy 2.0 when he draws a mafia role. He is still doing fuck all, but he's pretending to have "reads" in the midst of that fuck all.

I could also see him killing either Golden or Ricochet to help facilitate his current vote today. "Welp, my 'suspect' died, I guess I'm stuck voting for JJJ" -- while most of the remaining players are already frothing at the mouth waiting to click the JJJ button. It just reeks of fakeness and opportunism.

Combine that with the fact that I think there are valid reasons to town read everyone in this game except Wilgy 2.0 and reywaS, and it makes my suspect pool pretty obvious. Them.

Let's take a look at MP/reywaS.

I'm coming back to this comprehensive read of players that Scotty gave us. Scotty calls out MP for giving his usual "I'm busy" crap and calling him bad for it. His thoughts on MP are also incomplete. "He's getting more in the line of 'no-show' as we have in the game". Looks a bit thrown together, but I'm not sure if that's important.

Anywho, so Scotty accuses MP of being busy and suspects him. Thing is, MP had 4 posts before this, and never really said he was busy. He gave us this I'll be spotty bit. Additionally, about 50 minutes after Scotty posted this read of MP, MP himself came in and told us he's been extremely busy.

Another note to keep track of, we have 5 dead vanilla civilians out of a presumed 11-12. If there is a SK and a mafia team to take down, I'd imagine the civilians would have at the very least one power role, probably even two. We haven't seen any yet. I believe this points to a vig being a power role on the town's side.

Could be. I'm pretty comfortable in those two being mafia. I like that you're willing to remove him from SK contention after I'd labeled you a top SK candidate. What do you think of INH as a SK candidate?

I'm not willing to make the assumption that there is an SK. Every player that has been nightkilled has been a vig candidate to an extent.

But like you, I'm more interested in lynching mafia first and foremost.

I think it's reasonable to assume that no one expected Scotty to flip civilian when he was actually mafia, not even his teammates.

I also think it's reasonable to see that Ricochet was killed by a vig. Actually, it's not far-fetched to think that Golden was killed a vig either. I did that exact thing in the Mafia Championship scrimmage.

I didn't remove him anything. I developed a clever solution to my glasses problem, using a pair of pliers and a paper clip.

I went for a bike ride today, and my derailleur broke. So I had to drive to work, and my glasses frame broke on the way.

I'll try to catch up time-permitting, but I can't see well at all, and I don't like putting my face too close to computer screens.
