I don't think he missed it on purpose.

The thing that makes me suspect you of being nefarious Dom, is that I have perceived you to be rather quick to chase leads for flippant reasons in this game. Like a mafia player who doesn't have genuine mafia leads would to emulate scumhuntery. We have now another demonstrated reason.

But that's just my view. You might be playing the role of civ taskmaster.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 5]

Glorfindel wrote:As much as I share the suspicions of some of the candidates who've already attracted votes this Day phase, there is one other of whom I am most suspicious. I took bea's advice to heart and last night, stepped back and tried to open my mind to possibilities that I hadn't considered previously and now feel comfortable with my conclusion. I don't accept that none of the more prominent members here at TS are neither Mafia nor Mafia aligned independents (or at least are not Town aligned). Last night I took the opportunity to look in depth at one of the very accomplished members of this site (MM). Other than his vote on me last Day phase, I couldn't recall any contribution of significance from him and undertook an ISO of his posts and was astounded that he has contributed 160 posts to this game. If you haven't ISO'd him, I strongly recommend you do. At at an average post length of around 15 words that 160 posts consist of little more than off topic, flippant or trivial comments with next to no substantial analysis whatsoever. The votes that he's cast have had little to no justification and for a player of his experience and reputation, this set off alarm bells for me.

I then sought to confirm that his performance this game was different to what one would expect from him and so referenced the last game I played with him (Pikmin Mafia) and confirmed that his posting style was indeed very similar - only he WAS Mafia in that game. In my view and from my reading, I feel my vote for MetalMarsh is more than justified at this point.
I haven't been able to keep up very much. But there are a couple players in this game I trust, and so I haven't hesitated in following the vote of those players.

If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I haven't had the ability to invest myself in this game as much as I usually do or would like. If you really think I am playing like I did in Pikmin, can you explain why? I'll be ready to prove you wrong.

Let me try.

If Equivocate is civ-friendly, he is not a productive member of the civilian class. Lynching would him would not hurt us from a productivity standpoint.

If Equivocate isn't civ-friendly, then if we lynch him, everything is peachy.

I've tried my best to get engaged in this game, only to be met with millions of more posts and some attitudes I didn't really care for, on top of being poisoned. When I actually did try, I got caught up in the moment and voted for sig instead of Nero, of course what seems to have been a terrible decision.

Seems you're quick to cast the shade at me, bea, when you've hardly done any case building of your own. As to whom I suspect, that's what the rainbow list is for. The names near the bottom are the ones I suspect.

I can't get my head wrapped around this game; there are too many inmates and still too many posts. I can't be bothered to ISO and analyze. I don't want to and I don't have time to. I asked to be replaced, but considering there are four or five players with much less posts than me that would need to be replaced first still have not, I'm stuck in this game.

I'm just trying to have fun at this point, frankly. I stopped giving a shit about winning a while ago. Just lynch me already.
"Still too many posts"
MacDougall 624
Enrique 533
Turnip Head 425
a2thezebra 387
Golden 376
Matt 360
DharmaHelper 333
MovingPictures07 312
sig 250
Dom 213

These are teh players with more than 200 posts.

I'm calling BS on that.
MP, if there's too many posts why are you 6% of them? I dont' think these two positions square themselves. How can you claim to be overwhelmed by posts and unable to engage when you, yourself have more than 300 of them and more than, let's just use me, me? Me, someone who I would say has been very active, very vocal, and very visible.
Yet, you can't give a single reason behind a rainbow list.
MovingPictures07 wrote:And bea, for someone who seemed so sure that mafia MP would never give up on his teammates and would give them the chance to bus him, you're quick to change your mind. Mac's right; you keep agreeing with case after case and your contributions are opportunistic at best.

You're definitely one to talk, since you're likely anti-town. I'm not.

You weren't just testing Bea. I don't believe that for a second.

Lots of people have been willing to give you a chance since Day 1, but you have repeatedly failed to meet the requests of people asking you questions and asking for more detail in your responses.

So, MP, can you give one reason why Enrique is suspicious beyond you saying so?

To me, it's not all that important that you voted sig over nero. I don't really care. What I do care about is that you have been all hunky dory when the discussion isn't about you. Lots of smilies. Lots of jokes. Lots of posts. The second the lynch turns toward you, "oh just lynch me" MP comes out.
I'm not even on this list.

My experience at RYM is that folks don't leave breadcrumbs about their role. They either roleclaim or don't roleclaim. Pretty black and white.

Superman: A secret role. You cannot be lynched. You cannot be night-killed except if targeted by someone holding kryptonite which isn't a thing in this game. You cannot be targeted. Your vote counts as 5 votes. You can kill a player every night and your kill cannot be prevented. You start the game knowing everybody's alignment except Dom's. You are invulnerable to Matt's tinfoil cases. If you survive to the end Metalmarsh and DharmaHelper win the game because they are Metalmarsh and DharmaHelper. Everybody starts the game with a red peek on you because the Daily Planet tries to make you out to be evil.
hOI!!!!!! i'm mACDOUGALL!!
I don't understand your posts MM. Can you explain? Your last one said ho!!!!! I'm temmie (I left the capitalization out). I don't know who temmie is. It's nighttime so I don't believe you have been targeted unless I missed something and others were exhibiting their symptoms at night. Also, haven't seen much of you lately. What are your thoughts about the people being discussed?
It is from a video game called Undertale. MacDougall said in his role that He is Metalmarsh, so I was just introducing myself as MacDougall.

sprityo wrote:If someone could tell me what ISO means so i can go look for whatever Mac is trying to say, that'd be great
ISO = isolated

An isolated look at one's posts. It can mean either the entire collection of a players posts, or it can be the observations of when another player looks at these posts and offers their feedback. In the second of these two possibilities, an objective approach is required to build a proper ISO. And ISO is not meant to be a case on someone's scuminess or whatever, but an overall look at their gameplay.

So sometimes you'll see ISO as a verb, and that refers to the second of these things I described.
