The Syndicate

Pikmin was a special case in that I was forced to post in nothing but jokes for 2 days, followed immediately by countless Christmastime distractions since I was visiting my family on the other side of the country. Before that, my contributions in that game were at a pretty solid level. I can play mafia at any time during the year. I only get to see my parents and siblings once or twice a year, hence my disappearance.

And it figures that I'm blocked from voting the day I'm able to catch up and keep up I would have either voted Dom or, as the lynch picked up, Tranq, because the reasoning behind voting MM as said in the thread looked bogus and contrived to me, and it appeared that Tranq had managed to slip out of the noose (or at least the radar, if not by votes) a few times. But alas, RIP Tranq

Now, what I'm curious about is this: I'm a quiet player. Who would want to block me from voting, and for what purpose?
Still not caught up, because I'm sick and don't have the energy to read through all those pages, but what about MM's case was bogus and contrived? He admitted himself that he wasn't contributing at all, so those who picked up on it were certainly not making anything up. What exactly did I miss that moved people from thinking he was bad, to taking all their votes off him?

Well Tranq wasn't helping at all and look what happened there.

Actually, why did you find Tranq to be so civ, but me to be not so?

Especially JJJ, why did you vote Tranq? I'm not fully caught up. I noticed you were hesitating voting MM because he claimed to be an indie, yet I remember you clearly thinking Tranq was a civ. How did you end up preferring to lynch someone you considered a civ over someone who at best is an indie?

By the way, I saw Bea comparing this to Death Note, where TH was an indie who had to survive and tried to help the civvies. This is not similar because TH actually did try to help the civvies, while MM is doing nothing of the sort. Unless he changed his behaviour and started looking for suspects in the posts I haven't read yet.

JJJ, why did you vote Lorab on day 3.0 and then changed it to DH on day 3.5? What ever happened to your suspicion of DH? You haven't even talked about it last day.

LC, I'm starting to think there's a chance I've been fooled all along.

Actually, TH did not try to help the civs for the first half of the game or so.

I've been "saved" like 80 times, often spearheaded by confirmed town Golden and town read FZ. I ain't fussed.

I'm just pointing out that the logic you applied to lynch Tranq can be applied tenfold to you.

I didn't include Recruitment, because it was not a normal game (and I was a baddie until Day 7 anyway), or World Reborn because I was an Indy who sympathized with Baddies (and didn't actually know this until I think Day 8).

Linki: I was kidding. CFD = Chinese Fire Drill. As in when everyone changes there vote last minute to lynch a player who was not previously at risk of being lynched.

Whether you're lying or not. Typically I'd say claiming indy is a bad thing because you'd most likely get lynched anyway. Despite how many teams there are, I think we can agree that at the very least, there are 5 - 6 more baddies out there. Out of what, 17 players? By claiming indy, you're saying "Yeah I'm not civ, but shouldn't you be looking elsewhere town?".

Btw, I saw on your g2h, you listed Sorsha as civvie. Why?

Indy and neutral are different though. A neutral can sympathize with civilians (or even mafia sometimes or whomever). But a true Indy might not so easily, such as my role in Star Wars where I needed to construct a list of seven players, all of whom I needed dead.

As for Sorsha, I don't remember seeing anything suspicious from her.
