I asked the hosts a bunch of questions about the state of the game and the Hatch. I got a lot of ambiguous answers. I don't think the hosts know what's going on at all or what they're doing.

Are you deliberately misunderstanding me Donna?

So a spirit would determine whether there is a tie or not?

No, I mean that it's the thought that counts. Whether the vote counts or not, it was placed on Soneji.

I do not mean that there is a spirit that breaks ties.

I copied them down for my own personal use, but I don't think we're allowed to do any more than that.

It's Sloonei. I have the same dynamic I had in host wars. I will be amazed if it isn't him.

And I have seen too many sigwagons to be so sure. Why so sure?
My hesitation on believing it was sloonei is that he's been so much more busy and more quiet recently. It's good to see him in full form if it is him.

I've defended most of those sigwagons. He gets taken out for poor choice of words, things that look so overtly bad, usually specific commentary on individuals that appears contrived. The only time I went after sig and was wrong was in Turf Wars, where his apparent obvious baddieness was so outrageous that I felt he couldn't possibly be good (I was wrong).

My point being, this sig doesn't look like any of those bad wagons. Sig isn't getting himself into trouble for word usage, but rather for lack of genuine content, blendiness, and the way he handled the Mac lynch. None of these behaviours are things I associate with civ sig - neither the civ sig who gets himself in trouble (because usually that one is still opinionated), nor super-sig like what was recently seen in Unfortunate Events. Civ sig throws his thoughts out there and doesn't worry about how he looks.

Additionally, as the day was winding down, he commented on every player receiving suspicion in the thread except for MacDougall, the leading voter, who also happened to flp mafia. I don't think that's circumstantial.

And yes, that was the main reason I didn't support a Soneji lynch.

Sloonei came from the same place as Jay (RYM), and when he gets into a game, plays rather similarly to Jay in my opinion.

To toot my own horn for a second, I do think I played a strong role in the lynching of Mac.

But I feel similarly about the Day 1 thread. It's something we can't use as a resource for this game, so I can't show you what I said. I can only point to the poll thread.

I'm off now, I'll be back later. I'll likely vote for a low-poster when I do. I don't feel strongly about a suspicion of anyone. I'm willing to give Made the benefit of the doubt with regards to whether he bussed MacDougall or not, at least until we can see the posts from Day 1.

As for bea, I asked others what they think about her posts in this thread, but got no response. I find her entrance to this thread (and Day 2) to be genuine.

While Soneji did not vote for Mac on Day 1, he did vote for sig, a suspicion I share.

As such, I will likely vote Boomslang unless he responds, or at least demonstrates that he's paying attention. Actually, I'll go ahead and vote Boomslang now!

There's a little more to it. I initially noticed Soneji for his avoidance of mentioning Macdougall, even when he was the central topic of discussion. The meta comment combined with that observation to form my suspicion, as I think baddies often forget to talk about one another.

Mac didn't really talk about anyone except the players who voted for him.

Soneji didn't post all that much in the Day 1 thread either.

I don't find it that surprising that one quiet player did not mention another quiet player.

There was a time when I thought Donna Meagle was Mongoose. That time has passed (thanks for posting in another thread hun).

This game will be incredibly difficult without being able to rely long-term on thread evidence. It's like mafia with a fog-of-war.

But we do have info-dumping, and let's not forget it. I'm not saying we should all roleclaim or whatever, just saying that we have other tools at our disposal.

How much did Soneji post? It was somewhere around an 8-hour window between when Mac's name came up and the day ended. Did Soneji post in that timeframe?

Your crutch point reminds me of that post and tells me that he did post in that window. I do wish we could view the Day 1 thread though. This is most unfortunate.
