Actually, lynching wolbre might not be the worst thing. He and Sloonei (both probably indies) are voting together right now. If we find out wolbre's alignment, we can get an idea of where Sloonei's aligned, and maybe even other players like Kyle and jack.

It makes things rather complicated for Day 9, if we even get there, but today just feels incredibly muddy, and it just occured to me that this lynch of wolbre might provide some clarity.

The main points against him are his treatment of speedchuck early on: he prodded him loosely and without direction a number of times early on, and then hopped on when real pressure started to go his way. If a civilian is lynched, and another civilian is nightkilled, then that leaves only two civilians left who can vote.

Jack made this post after Quin's flip. Had Jack bothered reading Quin's death post, he'd have known that Quin was sided with Persia (Jay wrote it up that way).

But Jack didn't realize it immediately upon Quin's death, but did after checking the front page.

If I remove Nova, Dunya, Daisy and you from my POE, a mafia of two of Kyle, Wolbre and TH makes quite a bit of sense.

I’d ask folks more familiar with TH if they could see him acting this way as a baddie: Doing fuck and all for most of the game, giving mostly a good tone and good reads but pursuing none of them, almost exclusively pursuing a townie he has no hope of lynching.

These actions feel like a townie. Can TH fake that? Would he be so obvious in his badness that Jack, who has a real problem with taking the obvious route, sees his content as so bad that it loops around and cannot possibly be bad?

This is a serious question. This is my first game with TH so I have no idea.
It's been ages since TH played with us and I can't say I have a tremendous amount of experience with him. Then again, looking around at our roster, Kyle and daisy are probably the only ones with more Turnip Head experience than myself. But I could see him playing this way as scum. It would not be my first instinct, but at this stage I'm not willing to rule him out. He would not be my preferred lynch among these candidates though and I would still GTH him as good.
Also like he said earlier, it's not accurate to say he's done nothing this game. He's just been lighthearted and goofy, but there's still been content underneath most of that. See: his pursuit of you.

That's the basis of it yes. but I view Epignosis differently than most players because of his generally strong townie intuition, and anyway there's more to the situation than that. He seemingly did next to jack shit Day 1, and was almost lynched for it. Then he was nightkilled. That chain of events is what strikes me as uncanny.

I know it's only a small part of this whole game, and it's not really something you can defend against. But it's something I noticed, and I'm going to talk about it.

You ask me why you would kill players who scumread you and why you would kill players who townread you. Um, you have to kill someone right? And you wouldn't kill players for the same reason every single night. And you also have teammates who would factor in to all of these decisions, so any team nightkill would not be unilateral.

Epignosis was killed Night 1. He was almost lynched Day 1, while another civilian was lynched in his stead. The best reason I can think of for that happening is someone wanting to eliminate Epignosis's voice from the game.

The other thing about nova's votes isn't just that they don't look good to me. They're not inspiring either.
