Thanks so much for hosting DDL! Especially for turning into two games since people were stoked enough to overfill the first one.

I hope you have a nice break (and maybe feel the urge to come back and play a game from time to time).

These were the targets each day.

Day 1: dunya - We picked dunya Day 1, because no one seemed like an easy yeet aside from myself (and esooa poo-pooed that idea). Esooa didn't really know anyone in the game very well. So we opted for dunya, not for being an easy target, but I know she can be talkative early and games, and thus likely to draw attention to herself in that way.

Day 2: nutella - There was no rhyme or reason for this one. I'd given up on this game and went for a random pick.

Day 3: tutuu - Tutuu seemed to be talking herself into a corner, but we somehow managed to chop PSI that day instead.

Day 4: Epignosis - This time I intentionally mispicked the 8-ball because with 5 left, I know I still needed another day. So instead of getting it right (picking Tutuu) and having 3 left, I figured having four left in the end would make it more difficult for the civilians to find mafia.

Day 5: dunya - I saw a case I could make against her around tutuu and the lack of nightkill, so I picked her here.

I don't think this is on you. I still firmly stand by what I said earlier about it being a team game. Yes a leader helps, but even they are hardly ever infallible.


Going back to Days 2 and 3, I think the bigger question wasn't "Why not Marmot?" but rather "Why Nanook and PSI?". I think y'all did a good job estabilishing a poe, but they weren't really part of it.

What's for dinner? Is it still edible?

I basically given up Day 1. Especially after Vulgard subbed out and then esooa disappeared withouts saying anything.

But then Day 4 rolled around and I was still alive.

Mafia operated with 100% efficiency in the other game. It's been essentially the opposite here.

Dunya lightly defended tutuu to start Day 4. I honestly didn't expect nutella to quickly drop a vote on tutuu Day 4 without changing her mind. Dunya mighta had the same expectation. Thus scum dunya might've bet on me being chopped based on the posts in thread.

Not much has been said recently to change those reads. I just think it's Tutuu.

If we're wrong about Tutuu and she's the 8-ball, we end up in a 3 person lylo.

If we're wrong about Tutuu and she's not the 8-ball, then we end up with 4 people alive tomorrow, and potentially in LYLO.

I'd rather it be 3 people.

This recipe called for farro, but I'm attempting it with wheat berries. Sunchokes, shiitake mushrooms, chard, garlic, red onion, white wine and miso paste. I've never made risotto with miso before this recipe, but I love the taste it adds.

I'd forgotten about that.

What I remember is that PSI started the day with analyses, and determining that Epi and I are the top suspects. She then decides to townread me, and assume I'm the 8-ball. By Day's end, she decides to fall back on her Marmot/Epi susses, and swaps her vote to me because no one wants to chop Epi.

I'd need to go back and read to see how those reads changed, will do later.

Another thing is she called Nanook a stupid chop yesterday. The only time she mentioned Nanook aside from that was in the analyses she did, and she mentioned that there was not much there.

I know my vote probs didn't look great yesterday, but I'd forgotten the day was ending, so I rushed in and placed a self-prez vote.


I do agree with PSI about Epi though. Or rather, I disagree with Epi and his conclusion that he's cleared from interactions with esooa.
