Re: [ENDGAME]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren
In hindsight, it would have done wonders I think. I went with llama because it seemed clear to me that he was Lars and could double-vote. I really couldn't have gotten any luckier with the players lynched though. I won based on circumstance more than anything.bea wrote:awe - well played metal.
I think that's the first time I've ever been killed by both the baddie and the ninja. *giggles*
Great job goosey! This is a very interesting concept. I wonder how it would have worked if I'd have let myself get lynched. I thought about briefly voting myself on day 1 when I was getting votes.

Re: [ENDGAME]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren
Good game everyone. I did get a lucky break at the beginning, but I didn't have time to hop on, so it wasn't just an act of ignorance. Sorry bea, it seems you died twice in this game.
I also felt there were various ways I could have gone about the night phase, but since everyone was silent, I'd call too much attention on myself if I talked too much. But I think I was able to leave the slight impression that I was pro-town. Dunno how well it worked.

I think so. I voted him, but this may help us learn something depending on his role.Vompatti wrote:I think Matt is dead.

Likewise on the others. Naturally, we need everyone's input.bea wrote:I'd also like to hear from both of them before I vote, because - hellz bells Marsh - you could have killed llama. Don't think I'm not also thinking that as well.
I'm still crunching possibilities in my head, which I'll probably end up sleeping on. I'm possibly thinking Wombat, but that's not a very strong FOS. I think it was more circumstantial than anything else that he had voted MR on that lynch. But Llama had voted him before he switched to MR for the lynch.
As for Matty, I don't get the whole thing about me being quiet, as if I was the only one. He hasn't said much yesterday or today for that matter. Quite the behavior for someone who's expecting more from me.

And of course I haven't ruled you out bea, but I'm getting the strongest town vibes from you. But that very well could just be your playing style. If you try a random vote again today, I'm voting you without question.

Re: [Day2]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
MM works, or Marsh, I'll notice those easiest
There's only one way MR could have died, and that's because of Lars Nykvist's role of getting the possibility of a double vote. So that means Wombat or llama had that role, and based on llama's statement about switching, I believe it was him. Yes Llama originally suggested a no lynch, but he also apologized to MR after he voted, possibly insinuating MR was going to die. Llama also clarified that a tie would result in a no lynch, so there's more info to back that theory up.
There's the other possibility that Wombat has the aforementioned role, but I don't believe that is the case based on the above information.

I'd say you're both correct about Day 1. I was active, but I hadn't really offered anything productive.bea wrote:A Person wrote:I vote metalmarsh because he's been suspcicious ly quiet
So - I reread the thread. (I know - it took foreeeeever.) And in this kinda bothers me.
Metalmarsh was waaaay more vocal on the last page than I was. How is that suspiciously quiet?

Re: [Day1]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
I think it's a necessity, then again, I'm not sure I see why we shouldn't talk at night.bea wrote:how do we feel about talking at night? In a game this small and this fast, I can't see any practical reason to avoid it outside of the last minute PM by our one baddie.
I do think though it might be a risk I'm willing to take. I can't see any way around talking at night and still making an informed decision.
thoughts? Anyone?
Another facet of mafia I'm not used to. Where I've played, typically the thread is shut down at night from discussion.

Day 1 votes might be all we have to go off of, that, and maybe a particularly strong read or two.A Person wrote:He'd not checked in for the vote before I'd posted, and it was a fairly lame reason, but day 1 votes are always lame.bea wrote:That's fair enough - what do you think of my point about AP and his fairly lame reason for voting MetalMarsh? I had to make a quick decision once I decided to change my vote, and I felt like I was getting a bit of a bad "look how helpful I am" vibe from MR. I am pretty upset about how wrong I was though.bea wrote: I get that thinking - and was coming back to change my vote before time ran out - but I have to ask, if you were trying to avoid Metalmarsh from being killed, why wouldn't you have switched your vote to me or AP - we were the ones that voted him after all...
