After surviving my first kill, I kept buying leather vests. I was, after my the first attempt on my life, un-NKable. I wasn't expecting MM to fuck up the numbers like he did. Had I never bought another vest, I could have amped up my voting, which might have changed things around.

After juliets tried to kill me, I figured that I didn't need votes, but that someone would NK me again soon. That never happened, and it cost me.
Actually, I was perfectly okay with being lynched, because I knew that I could take two players with me. FYI, the last player that voted me, as well as the player who voted me of my choice were the ones who would die. Juliets did survive the fireworks only because she wasn't chosen, not because of her role.
And to be fair, I would have chosen juliets, but I didn't know I was going to be lynched. Because I wasn't online when the lynch post was made, Russti picked a random player (between juliets and Spacedaisy) and SD happened to be the one. Just my luck.

I'm not upset about this, but I just wanted to make it clear that things may have turned out differently.

On the day Boogs was lynched, TH2 tied it up. If Kylemii / A Person were a teammate of TH2, that would be an unnecessary risk. Also note that on the day TH2 got lynched, Kylemii voted himself (A Person). He could have saved his vote to save a teammate (or distance hard), but he didn't do either.
At the time of Kyle's self-vote, TH only had one vote to Snow Dog's 4. But I understand your point on the Boogs lynch. Bullzeye's vote doesn't make sense if Kyle is a teammate, nor does TH's vote.

Re: The Hobbit Mafia: Day 11

I've already put points forward before of why I've thought you're a goblin. They are not a thing of the past.

I took a look through Kyle's posts. Not once has he interacted with you. He did vote you yesterday, but even with a 5-2 lead in the polls (he put you up 4-2), you weren't lynched. You say that you don't know why you survived the lynch, or why llama took the brunt, but how often does a player survive a lynch without actually knowing what's going on? I do not believe you here. I have read your discussion with Epi today, but Epi was convinced you are Smaug (which is still a possibility).

And considering what fingers may have said, there is a clear difference between Kyle 1.0 and Kyle 2.0. Kyle 1.0. In the first couple days when he was alive, he'd put more effort to catch up and post/vote based on his own thoughts. The new Kyle seems less interested, which considering the number of players has been cut down to 30%, the game should be easier to keep up with.
Kylemii wrote:er... i voted for bullz *crosses fingers*

just fyi there's no option to change votes in this poll
Also concerning his vote on Bullz, I feel like Kyle should have known he could only vote once. He had played earlier in the game.

I've hardly heard a peep from you before today, but I guess your flying under the radar is your style. Look, someone has to be Smaug. You're someone.
But you don't have any reason for why me over anyone else. For all I know you've literally randomized to find the person who you'd next push for a bandwagon on. You have explained nothing and given no reason for why anybody should vote for me so I don't know what you expect. I could say the exact same about you.
You could, but I'm not sure how you'd work this little tidbit into your narrative.
Do you know why that NK attempt was not listed at the bottom of the night post as "Epi survived a night kill..." while juliets' NK attempt from the goblins was?

I'm leaving town soon and won't be on later today or tomorrow. So I voted now. Epi is crazy. He probably assumed that there wouldn't be much discussion without him being involved. llama, well I don't know why he voted so early.

Linki: It is not in our objective to kill Gollum, if he is still alive. The mayor is clearly an entirely different ball game since his alignment can change, as can the elves. But, Smaug and the Goblins are on different teams, so this game is still far from decided.

Yes but I said that (mistakenly) because I was denying Epig's supposed connection between us. We both know there isn't one. If I'm lynched that will be made obvious and perhaps get Epi off your back but it seems like by pointing out my mistake you're trying to disagree with me about us not being connected?

Care to back that up with something other than "Because Llama says his votes make him bad despite having cast the same ones" or "Because Epig says so and admits he doesn't really have much reason to think it"? There isn't a relationship between me and Splints. I don't think we've even spoken to each other all game.
I assume Epi saw something there that I didn't, because he thinks you're Smaug and fingers is the Mayor. It sounds like he thinks you're teammates. I saw he brought up a point about fingers a while back too about his late addition to the game and what role he might be based on that. See that here. I don't think that is what he's talking about though.

And I don't know why you keep saying that I'm following llama's lead. Looking at your vote record was Epi's suggestion anyway, but I do think he is partially incorrect in his hypothesis. And I guess I don't technically agree with llama, because even though he thinks you are a goblin, he agrees with Epi who says you are Smaug.

Re: The Hobbit Mafia: Day 10

  • Day 1 - Bullzeye random voted Snow Dog. It's day 1, so whatever.

Day 2 - Bullzeye voted in the lynch of FZ. FZ as we know was a member of the Moria Goblins. Nothing wrong with that. But I did find this post slightly amusing. Bullzeye tells sawyer to follow his gut not the crowd, but then follows the crowd, not his gut.

Day 3 - No posts or votes, seemed to be out for IRL reasons.

Day 4 - Posted once, but didn't explain his vote, or even state it. Voted at the end of the Mongoose lynch. Mongoose escaped the lynch, but was later lynched and turned out to be Bilbo.

Day 5 - Voted Mongoose again. I think many of us were convinced that Mongoose was Smaug after surviving the previous lynch. There's a good chance Smaug is one of the voters on this Mongoose wagon. I also noted that Epi did not vote this day.

Day 6 - Cast the deciding vote on Vompatti, who flipped to be Thorin.

Day 7 - Voted A Person, though Boogs was lynched while these two were tied. Boogs was the Elf Gaoler.

Day 8 - Voted Snow Dog when TH 2.0 was lynched, though these two were also tied. TH was the Misty Mountain's Great Goblin. He does say he trusted TH. If he is Smaug, I doubt this means anything. If he is the Mayor, his vote is worth three, so I don't see how TH 2.0 could have been lynched.

Day 9 - Place the first vote on INH, who was lynched. INH was Dwalin.
Looking at Bullzeye's voting track record, I'm in partial agreement with you Epi. Both Bullzeye and fingers voted for Snow Dog on Day 8. Snow Dog and TH 2.0 were tied at seven votes, but TH was lynched. If anything, the mayor could have been on the TH wagon, also meaning that he is doubtfully in cahoots with the Misty Mountain Goblins. The mayor could be in league with Smaug, but my belief from this is that fingers is NOT the mayor as you suggested.

Back to Bullzeye. He has been more active since about Day 6 or so. Before that, he posted just as much at night as he did during the day. With the night periods being half as long, that's a curious pattern. Bullzeye has voted on several bandwagons, which may be what you were looking at Epi. Not only this, but he claimed trust of TH here, a day before TH was lynched. I think that if Bullzeye is bad, llama is correct, and that Bullzeye is an inhabitant of the Misty Mountain. This is a claim that I would support.

I guess fingers could be a Goblin too. Are you seeing signs indicative of them being teammates, Epi?

Also has anybody had their gold stolen at all recently? If not it is possible the Goblin gtheif is dead.
I don't feel comfortable with this observation. I agree with it, but the motivation for it seems questionable. What suddenly gave you the idea that the goblin thief might be dead?

And I have not been robbed of gold either.

Now I am leaning either in INH's direction or in Kyle's direction, based on the case Rob made about him.

Snow Dog remains an enigma. I don't quite know what to make of him.
Wait what case? :-? who is Rob?
The correct question here is "What is Rob?"
A Rob is an Epignosis right?

In Willow, INH was civilian (he also responded in orange then for what it's worth), and it was the most focused game I've ever witnessed him play.

I don't know what to make of INH this time. He is not my #1 suspect though. I'm eager to look back at A Person / Kylemii 2.0. No Moria kills for a while, then he subs in, and boom, the kills start again. That's a hell of a coincidence.
My only qualm about this is that AP wasn't that inactive. As I said earlier, he only missed one lynch vote. Do you really think he was missing all the PMs?
hmmm is that the case? if a person were a moria goblin and i were replacing him if anything the kills would just become less frequent... i haven't caught up all the way

have i seriously been back in the game for 5 days??? sorry guys I need to get my shit together and get all caught up

wait shit i guess i missed the poll... does that mean Dom was the last Moria Goblin? :D RIP INH
Yes you did miss the poll... And as for Dom being the last Moria goblin, I'm convinced. Russti didn't say exactly that in the event post, but I can't figure out any other possibilities. I still wonder why we didn't learn Dom's role though.

I don't know how long you've been back, but I'm not even going to try to figure it out. Llama says I'm bad at math.
I think based on Dom's post death comments he was probably the last moria goblin. unless INH was a seemer, or the team death announcement was delayed
There is that slight possibility with INH, but I don't think that's the case.

As for the team death announcement being delayed, the last Moria goblin could have been killed no earlier than Night 8, because they made a kill that night. That would leave CBK as the other option. Player reads aside, I don't think that happened.

1. As you may have, noticed, this NIght will last 48 hours. That is partly due to special events happening tonight, and partly due to scheduling conflict's in your host's life. I do not believe it will cause inconveniences for anyone, since you're actually getting MORE time, but I do apologize for the inconsistency. I will be back in the U.S. next week, and thus I hope this will be our final schedule-related disturbance.
Is tonight's special event on its way?

Re: The Hobbit Mafia: Night 9

I can't believe I didn't notice that before. Dom wasn't around on Night 4, hence no kill from the Moria Goblins. And no one killed on Night 6.

But Epi, that doesn't mean your theory about Kyle is completely hosed.

The INH discussion has generated input from several parties. You, llama, and Epi have all made rather simultaneous cases, and even BWT offered a controversial suspicion. I'm staying objective at the moment, because INH did mention IRL issues which I'm expecting him to expound on a little. :evileye:

I think this is the second time that llama has wanted to vote for you this game, but you've 'changed' his mind. And you're not the only one it has happened to. Does llama always waffle this much? Or is it his poor track record in this game?
What you seem to forget is that Llama's suspicion of me has always been compounded with a suspicion of you (based on MP, if I am not mistaken). He has dropped it twice. Therefore he has dropped BOTH of us twice. In addition, I do not think this is indicative of a baddie Llama. I think we are seeing a civvie llama who is unsure of his actions.

However, your post is unsettling to me, tbh. Why are you prodding ME on what LLAMA has done?
I was looking for feedback on llama's meta and its presence in this game, and asking llama directly would not be a good course of action, especially if he is bad. And you are mistaken about his suspicion of me. He's only mentioned it once that I know of, but for entirely different reasons than his suspicions of you. He just threw our names together on Day 1 because we happened to be number one and two on his list (in no particular order). And this recent resurgence of it has nothing to do with me.

Very well.

In X-Men (a full game, 48 hour Days), you were on an evil team of 7, and you had a total of 23 posts in the span of eight game Days, and I don't think you were hosting a game at all during any of that time.

In Willow (a speed game, 24 hour Days), you were civilian, and you had 85 posts in the span of nine game Days.

:ponder:

To be fair, INH was hosting the Stanley Parable game for much of that time.

OK, let's do the time warp.

I usually post and vote in a thread a few hours before the poll ends. See any game I have ever played for proof. So, me checking in on the thread before a lynch, seeing that people have suspicions of me, and then responding to those suspicions, is suspicious to you?
You checked in last night too, but never posted. ;) There were people talking about you too, primarily llama and Dom.

Linki @ Dom: You are all 'seemingly' ganging up on INH.
Who is "all"?

In addition, discussing someone is NOT ganging up on them. Did we gang up on TH? A Person? Snow Dog? Mongoose? MP? Elohcin? FZ?
