Well that's a testament to my mafia ability.

Thanks Epi
I might've accepted your bribes.zeek wrote:Sorry I was killed so early, Epi!Curse of N4 it seems. I was just getting a bit more free time when I was killed as well. I was gearing up for a massive bribe as well.
Always wanted an indy role and I got one at the worst possible time.
Nobody took my bribes, apart from Boogs. Boogs then voted who I asked him to, so I didn't even get to kill him. I suck.
I kinda agree with you. When I first got the role, I was excited, but as the civvies kept dropping, I realized my role wasn't going to do anything.Russtifinko wrote:I actually came out even on the money-making game, I think! I was kinda salty you guys were gambling my money, though. :P
I spent a LOT of rupees on your Patra. I wwas really torn between it and a Wizzrobe. Looking back, I wish I could get a do-over on that. If anyone had figured out who the baddies and/or I were, they could've stopped all Night kills. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20. I think I had like 60 Overworld and 80 Underworld rupees at the end. But I knew we needed voting power, and all my Overworld minions were dead.
Son of a bitch. So llama convincing Snowy to switch his vote was the deciding factor in the game.Epignosis wrote:I can tell people now that I handpicked you for this role, hoping you would bring this kind of zeal to it. Thank YOU for that, Russti!Russtifinko wrote:That was probably the most exciting game I have ever played in, day-to-day. I LOVED being able to figure some things out for myself, and not either being totally in the dark or handed info. I came home from work every day, and when the post came up I went to town with lists and rupee counts and logic trains. I really wanted to win this one for the civs. Thanks for the awesome game, Epi!
Eloh's vote was worth 3 (she bought the rod and the book), and nijuu's vote was worth 2 (she had a rod only). thellama73 had a 1 the whole time. So if you all had lynched nijuu, there would have been no kill, but they would have still had a voting power of 4.Russtifinko wrote:Linki: If we had lynched her yesterday, could we have still won?
MM89 targeted Snow Dog the Night he died, so he would have learned SD was civilian, by the way.
Was Eloh rezzed, or was that also flavor?Epignosis wrote:That was just story- you guys were outnumbered in terms of voting power.Snow Dog wrote:And as MM asked, how was I killed? The recorder alone can't do it?
Epignosis wrote:And because I'm so disappointed that this didn't get to happen, I am putting Gleeok in the game of champions!

Her thoughts should still be dissected, especially something like this. If she still has two teammates alive, we need to look through her interactions and reads on everyone, because that can support any theories we have already. For example, she gave a relatively lengthy analysis on llama without really actually saying much. Her read on ninja was very noncommital, but so was her read on you. She said Russti could be bad, which was mainly for consistency since she's suspected him before and voted him twice. I don't think he's bad, nor does anyone else to my knowledge.Snow Dog wrote:Elo was bad. How can you trust her thoughts on anyone?Metalmarsh89 wrote:I said that Eloh's thoughts on you and bloops are equal in my mind. I've returned to my previous opinion on Russti. I'm confident he is civ. Eloh voted him on consecutive days, including during the tie between Dom and Russti. Considering that Eloh (presumably) didn't know what would happen in a tie, he must be civ.
I am surprised you doubt me as civ though. Who are we lynching tomorrow?

Elohcin wrote:Okay, so I did my usual speed game read through. Here you go...
Dom - At first he was contrary in a playful way. Next was talked about not having much time/zeal for Mafia right now. Ten he gives SD the stink eye for talking about posting puzzle answers in the thread. He throws out suspicions here and there, but doesn't say anything to back up his suspicions. His voting record: no votes to the civs who have been lynched.
Fingersplints - She's been helpful to other players. She has explaind her suspicions. Nothing pings me about her.
Made - Replaced in, of course. He's invested, talkative which is good, but I feel he's been a bit cocky in feeling like he is completely trusted b/c he was replaced. He is one of my top suspects for this behavior alone.
Metalmarsh - seems level-headed, active and helpful.
Mr Rearranger - I'm not sure what to think after rereading him. He's hard to read...could be affiliated with either IMO.
Niju - She doesn't post much, but her posts seems to be meaningful/helpful. She is hard to read too.
Russ - He seems to have a lot of helpful things to say. He seems to be trying and coming up with suspicions, however I am not sure that his suspicions have much weight. So, I am pinged by that.
Snow Dog - Just overall seems like he is playing a pretty civ game.
Llama - I remember reading that some thought he wasn't posting as much as usual. May be true, but the page numbers seem to suggest he is about average for this game. He had four pages of posts like several other players. Anyway...his posts are helpful and he voices suspicions.
Nothing else to say, unfortunately. Rereading each player didn't really bring about any new pings, but there you go. Maybe you will be encouraged to do your own read through and post on everyone. I know many of us are getting discouraged by lynch results.
The fact that she also quit Monopoly Mafia makes me think otherwise.thellama73 wrote:I've been confused by Made's behavior all game. It wouldn't surprise me.Snow Dog wrote:Does anyone think that little altercation that elo had with Made was set up? Was it distancing?

I'm guessing it's the question about tie lynches? I don't know what he means by "civvies already know/assume" though.Elohcin wrote:Well, just b/c all of you think I am bad doesn't mean I should be ignored.I really want to know what he was talking about in the part that I bolded. Do you have any clue what he is saying there?
I say we push for the lynch on Eloh. We're going to have to sooner or later.Made wrote:thellama73 wrote:No. Made is an enigma.
Anyways, switching my vote to Llama for the time being, Anyone else willing to follow, or are going to take the guaranteed hit, rather than risking Llama being civvie ( which i doubt)
I suspected bloops as a byproduct of my suspicion of Eloh and MR yesterday, but with MR being civ, the reasoning doesn't really stand.Made wrote:jokes aside, rereading Ninja, I can't say i understand/know everyone else's reasoning for suspecting Squid, but i have my own. rereading stuff.

Nobody has been more up-front than Made has when it comes to the puzzle-solving.nijuukyugou wrote:And I've been pretty upfront about solving the puzzles in-thread when we've worked together, as well as my voting. So why can't that "somewhere" be Civ?
You have twice as many votes as Eloh though. I don't know what you mean by that.Mister Rearranger wrote:I can always switch back. I like ties.
I just worry about lynching a civ Eloh when I feel like I've participated less and deserve to go if any civ is going to go. :/
I did, because there was a tie. But I do realize there are 60 minutes left and 3 votes yet to be cast.Russtifinko wrote:Holy shit, who switched????
Lol, that's exactly what I told fingers earlier and she voted me for it.thellama73 wrote:I am not worried about looking bad. Definitely, I'm confident MR and Eloh are both bad.thellama73 wrote:Eloh and MM, would you be willing to vote for MR if we could get a plurality?
The 'slip' aside, would you mind looking at the correlations I pointed out between MR and Eloh and tell me what you think.thellama73 wrote:Okay, thanks. I went back and read your post. I don't fully agree with you though. I have seen baddies make the kind of post you don't think a baddie can possibly make before, and I have been fooled by them before. I will definitely consider changing my vote before the end of the lynch though. We still have time. Is Eloh your first choice? I tend to agree with Made that I don't think her "slip" was a slip.
Would you consider a vote for MR?Elohcin wrote:sorry for the triple post. I just noticed I now have 2 votes and metal has three. This is a crucial vote guys. I don't think Metal is bad. I think Made is.
linki: does that mean you are changing to MR? And if I haven't interacted with Niju, its b/c she hasn't really posted much. When I did my reread of everyone, she only had one page of posts.
Aside from this post, MR has not offered any useful observations today. There has been a ton of discussion already, but look at these posts.Mister Rearranger wrote:Russ, this is difficult. The two at the top of my list are MM and Snowie.
For the third spot, I'm struggling with a toss-up of Niju and Eloh.
Splints and Llama after that, in my "not confident, but leaning civ" group. But I've wavered and swapped them with Eloh in my mind at various points during the past 2 days as well. :/
And finally, feeling nearly confident that you and Made are good.
