It's an indie RPG which kind of deconstructs the genre. It makes you choose between killing or sparing monsters in the game, and has a number of different endings and paths depending on the choices you make.

It's only 10 dollars on Steam, and there is also a free demo. I highly recommend it.

Oh, and it also has a 10/10 soundtrack:

You didn't TGG, but DDL said this recently.

That's two rave reviews for the same game, and both of you loved the soundtrack. That's saying something.

I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII off and on. That's my only experience with the series though.

The idea is very intriguing though.

This is the only thing I know about Stanley Parable.

I have no idea how far I am, but I definitely prefer magick combat. I carry a bow (because for some reason you can carry a million arrows without affecting your carry weight) and some light armor for hand-to-hand combat. I'm not liking the heavy armor, but I guess if you don't invest in magick, you can invest in stamina instead to compensate.

I started the Thieves' Guild storyline, but I've moved on. I didn't really find it interesting, and there were other skills I prefered to work on.

I agree, the side quests are the best part. I've been trying to figure out how to get a homestead started. I've done all the quests in Morthal, but for some reason can't buy any land to start. I recall being able to before when I played on a friend's system. Either there is an error somewhere, or I will have try again through other methods.

Oh, and I am a Khajiit.

I finally gave in and bought an Xbox, and now I'm playing Skyrim. I hope to finish it before school begins, which may or may not be possible.

I've been playing a lot of Chip's Challenge recently. Anybody remember that one? Apparently there are have been some unofficial expansion packs released.

I was at 99 at one point, and I went to every deep, dark, dank place in OoT to find it. Checked every dungeon. Re-checked every plot of soil. And the symbol just wouldn't disappear. I thought it was a glitch. Where was the last one?

Behind a house in Kakariko village

Just found all 100. That was actually the last one I found too.

I just learned today that you can hookshot the roofs of houses in Kakariko Village.

I am up to 96 Gold Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time. Only 4 more! Of course, these will be the toughest ones to find.

Up to 40 gold skulltulas, and just completed the Shadow Temple.

I just finished the fire temple. That one is awful. Only because it makes me really sad when the goron's are locked up. They are just curled in a ball, shaking, saying "don't eat me!"

I agree. It is a sad place up there. I just finished that temple as well, and have just entered the water temple.

I've also never collected the fourth bottle, so that is another part I need to complete.

Haha, nice. I typically play any of the following fighters, from roughly most to least frequently used: Ike, Marth, Bowser, Duck Hunt, King Dedede, Lucario, Ganondorf, Shulk, Little Mac, Captain Falcon, and Mr. Game and Watch.

This group needs more Sheik.

I'm going to get this game, play with only Sheik, and kick your butt. :P

I had a copy of it for a short time before I moved. I had played the regular version through probably half a dozen times at that point, and couldn't even get through the Great Deku Tree on the Master Quest. I didn't put much effort in, but it certainly is harder.

I may follow suit fingersplints, but the regular version. I still have not found all 100 gold skulltulas.

Sounds like a fun venture for the summertime.

It's an RPG with a zillion characters, level ups, kind of Final Fantasy ish I guess? Many of the character can switch between human and animal form - they are vulnerable and weak as humans, very strong as animals, a neat risk/reward thing.

I guess I love the game because there are some missions where you need to pick like 18 characters to enter a level, and you've got 25 to pick from, let's say. If you always use the same guys, they will level up a lot and get really strong but in later levels were you are forced to bring the weaker people into missions, those characters will die and weaken your overall team. But, if you spread the levelling up too smoothly around the characters your group will be too weak at endgame.

Lots of long term and short term strategy in character choices.

Sounds like my kind of game.
