Re: [END] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
I believe this is the very first time a mafia team of size greater than 4 has won a game on the Syndicate.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:In my experience, town-to-mafia ratios tends to be best in the 4-1 or 7-2 range, which is closer to one fifth. This can vary by setup type, but only in rare circumstance have I seen a truly balanced game at 3-1 (the champs tourney setup of Season 2 being a valid example).
Congrats you guys!!

Re: [END] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
This is literally the only reason we lost. I blame Spacedaisy. :PSpacedaisy wrote:Sloonei wrote:sorry i spent so much time and energy trying to get you lynched, quin and sig.
That CFD was amazing but it kinda doomed me personally in this game. It caused me to shake up so many of my reads from earlier in the game, and it turned out all of my new ideas were wrong and my old ones were much more on the right track.
Soneji had me fooled the whole time though. If it weren't for those last day shenanigans I was never going to vote for him. Very well played Soneji and the rest of you cops.
This is so very true for pretty much everyone but Silverwolf. Silverwolf has incredible instincts. However, I have never seen so many civs be so absolutely wrong and yet 100% certain that they were right as I did in this game. People who usually have outstanding instincts as well. It was almost painful to watch at times.
Also, I have to share my own Slooneji story. Sloonei, you were originally supposed to be the Chief and soneji was supposed to be my Don, but because I flubbed and got Sloonei and soneji mixed up, I had to flip flop your roles because one of the role card messages was read as soon as I sent it. I felt like an idiot.

You had your same win con, arrested or free.
I would like to file a complaint to Sloonei the Don.
Day 3 challenge for the Capo: alternate posting with your partner (chaindeath), who posts in small quantities.
Day 4 challenge: be the lowest poster in the thread for the day phase.
Night 4: bam nightkilled.

Thanks for the game MP and Spacedaisy (and sorry for killing your secret role on Night 1). I would have loved to have been more of a presence, but being AWOL for almost a week gave me no chance in the later phases of the game to make a comeback. Oh well. I'll accept the fact that I broke one of the rules right underneath your noses during the final prison break. :P

Yes, if I were bad with sig, I be spanking sig and sending him to the corner, but not until after I nailed Fuzz to the cross for somehow getting himself lynched in the last 30 minutes of the day when he'd had like zero or no votes.
But Mafia don't use their chat as much as you would think they would.
Death Note was one game where we really got our hands dirty in the mafia chatroom. Oh, and Recruitment as well. As a result, we won those games rather handily.
Aside from that, I don't recall being mafia and really making plans to put into effect in BTSC. I guess there was also a lot of that in World Reborn, but I wasn't actually mafia in that one.

Nah, it's perfectly legal, since it is thread-based and speculation. And I get why you are suggesting it, because if you're right, Sloonei would be protected from a lynch.

But we did lynch sig.Sloonei wrote:Just got home from work and began doing my catch up and saw sig label my vote for him as a "no u" and did the biggest "huh?" of my life. I'm like 99% positive that is the opposite of the truth.sig wrote:7
Scotty (5), ika (6), Dragon D. Luffy (8), Golden (9), indiglo (10), Sloonei (17), Matt (24)
So Ika is a revenge vote, DDL is a No U, Golden is mega tunnely, Sloonei is another No U, and Matt is voting since he thinks MM is bad and that means since we agreed we must be teammates. lolz
So four of the people voting for me I suspected and had doubts about. So basically my wagon is filled with NO U people.
So your voting for Golden in a vote which will do nothing at all this phase but instead voting for the person your top suspect pushed? explain that to me.
Matt your insane why should I even consider helping you switch to MM which won't happen since there is no case on him when you have a vote on me. IN FACT YOU WANT MY HELP TO DO SO??? SO you want a player you think is scum to convince players to vote for someone you think is scum yet we are both scum?
Anyway back to reading. We have to lynch sig tomorrow. I feel now like not lynching him today was a huge missed opportunity.

- I asked him to post his reads.
- He posted a wall of reads. It didn't convince me, but didn't make me suspect him more.
- We got close to EoD and nobody had followed me on my Fuzz wagon. I switched back to gleam not to waste my vote.
- The CFD started. I opposed it because I didn't like the concept.
- Almost all the gleam voters siwtched to Fuzz. I siwtched along because Fuzz had always been one of my suspects.
Also I take back what I said. Apparently searching for Fuzz, does not bring up results for RadicalFuzz. I overestimated the Syndicate's search capabilities.
